Amazing how one little spot in the right place can kill these boards. I have a 00840 that is so covered in corrosion I don't think its worth salvaging, yet it still boots.

Use enough flux? You should just use a big tip and solder that little resistor on in a snap. JBC tweezers are great for those jobs ; ' )
