Pulling wheelies over the first corner. Tremendous. When riders didnt cry.
*Great Race Kevin - well done !*
A first corner that's worthy of Herman Tilke.👍
It's quite cool to see bikes get some air along that corner though.
@@TrickyMario7654 True. Carl Fogarty famously got a stone through his screen at one of the Superbike practices at the same corner. Bit hairy but otherwise good circuit
Great job, commentary by Barry Sheene and Ken Sutcliffe, Darrell Eastlake must have been ill or on holiday at the time.
I assume they explained Darrell’s absence at the start of the telecast, though the copy I got sent by someone doesn’t have it.
Heros!
Damn..Doohan's bike was so much faster than the rest in 92 and 93...it's so obvious.
Jeff Darnell The other Honda riders weren’t too well placed in this race though, plus you have to remember Doohan was still suffering from his injuries he got the pervious year.
But the yamaha and Suzuki were faster overall
Is this International 1983 500cc Salzburging race?
Is this the old A1 redbull ring circuit????
No, this is a different circuit altogether.
Interesting to hear Kenny commentating this one... where was Daz?
Guess Darrell was ill that weekend.
But it gets SO OLD...hearing Sheene just talk and talk and..NEVER shuts the fuck up!! I understand color commentating...but damn son..
I like Sheene but he did like to rip into the slower riders a bit too much. Slagging of John Reynolds for making a mistake...
Terrible first corner
Yeah, thankfully they've redesigned it since then.
