    Great video, They should make those nozzle stem tips out of the same kind of plastic those clear packages for products at Costco are in, like SD Card packages that you practically have to use tin snips to open. The plastic that the spray can nozzle stems are made of is very brittle, I had the stem break off a can of carburetor cleaner bust and it only fell about a foot and a half and landed on the spray nozzle

    Thank you so much man this was the exact same problem Im having right now with a broken tip. I actually had a nozzle for the phone the one you're talking about ordering through eBay and I didn't know what it was for and I literally just put it away about 5 minutes ago I'm not thinking it could give me a little bit of help but I can't wait to look through your other videos cuz I'm always working around the house looking for ways to save me a trip to the store

    If you have a can with product but no pressure left, I have used my air compressor and a blow gun with a soft rubber tip to re-pressurize the can. Just remove spray tip, place rubber nozzle from blow gun over can valve tightly and give it a couple good bursts! You will feel it when you get it right its like blowing in a drinking straw. Then just put the nozzle back on and boom it should spray again! Don't over do this and you will need at least 60 psi or so to overcome the can valve but I have had great success with this! Keep in mind that liquids that cure in air like paint you should probably use quickly.

A lot of UA-camrs have the bad habit of not using proper eye protection and actually present themselves as a bad example of safety practices. Thanks for your dedication to safety

    I boiled my nozzle straw to get the gunk out of it. It softens it and then you can stick a strait piece of metal that's longer then the straw and push it out. It definitely worked, and to prevent it from oozing back into the straw, I put a small screw into the stem. Screwed it in just enough to stop the pressure from oozing . When I need to use it, I remove the screw and attach the clean nozzle straw.

    I have a hair spray that won't spray like it should. The tip is not clogged. I've even tried a brand new tip, and it still doesn't spray correctly. I've also tried pressing down on the tubing, and it comes out perfectly and at full force. I'm thinking that the tubing must be bent inside. What can I do to salvage this can of my favorite hairspray??

    Need help with rusty bolts I cannot unscrew from an outdoor flower box. Any tips or tricks…suggestions? Thanks

    • @ShellionessLove
      @ShellionessLove 6 місяців тому

      Get a small jar or container of coconut oil. It has to be the oil that is solid not liquified. Then coat the bolts with alot of the oil using your fingers to make sure it gets onto all the grooves, nooks and crannies and let it sit over night. Then try to Remo e them if it's still not loose use a torch to heat it up and let the oil melt and then coat it one more time overnight. Heat it up again, and they should come right off. If it's real bad and won't come off, use baking soda and vinegar. Get a small bowl of baking soda and add water but just enough to make it a thick paste that you can use to coat them. Then, take a spray bottle with vinegar and spray it. It will foam up and keep repeating til the rust starts coming off more and more, then use the coconut oil. I promise it works. Just have to be patient. One last trick is to take a potato and cut it in half. Use the cut sides to screw them onto the bolts or nuts. Keep turning the potatoes back and forth a few times, then let it sit. The potato will remove the rust, but this takes a few times and a few potatoes. After potatoes add. Coconut oil and bam, they will come off. Update me and let me know if any of this worked for you

    I have an aerosol can of insect spray. It has the spray cap. And it has another cap that comes with a straw for crevice spray.
    I used the cap with the straw a couple of times. Now the cap with the straw doesn’t reattach to the can.
    The regular spray cap still reattaches no problem.
    I called the company. They sent me another cap with straw which still doesn’t reattach to the can.
    I’m confused why the spray cap still reattaches. But the cap with the straw does not.

    When I have a can that has lost its pressure, I make a slight hole at the top and depressure the can. Once the pressure is down, I enlarge the hole and pour the contents into a small glass jar. I have an airbrush, so if I need to spray paint the particular color I can use my compressor and the airbrush to use the product. Most of the times I did this for model painting and I got the best application of paint in comparison to the mist from the paint bomb can. Wd40 or other lubricants that are similarly affected, I just open the can and dump it into a jar and use a paint brush to apply to the surfaces that need treatment. I never waste a spray bomb can unless I have to do it.

      It’s early Sunday morning or Friday night at 11, you live 35 miles from a store, or maybe out at the ranch, you use a lot of these in your work, money actually matters and some of these products aren’t cheap, you just need to squeeze out a little bit more and don’t need a whole other can, and you’d prefer not to dump a bunch of chemicals in the trash.
      There’s a half dozen legit reasons not to just toss it in the trash and “go buy a new can”.
      Trolls.
