The K Series all have matched 1000W Lightweight Digital Power Amps built in.
The sub is super lightweight at 74 with rolling caters for ease of transport.

As soon as I hit post comment - I knew I should have re-worded that.
2 of these K12 would certainly give you enough power for your application. They are indeed killer!
@prodigymediagroup That is awesome, we are grateful for your comments. Nice job on your Same Day Edit video...very well done!
Glad to hear that Gonzo. Get in touch with us. We'll give you a great deal!
I have 2 of these and 2 k12s very sick
@americaneagle791 Yeah, I suppose you probably could. QSC does a majority of the movie theater systems you hear as a matter of fact. All the details and specs are available at qsc dotcom under Loudspeakers then K-Series.
Yes, the amp is built in
I'm wondering the same as well. I play a lot of gigs with stairs. So I imagine luggin two ZXA1s woudl be easier than the one KSUB.
Though I am concerned about pole mounting anything on the ZXA1 since it's 40lbs.
@jah24javed It's the ultimate challenge of sound vs. space. I think the KSub will give you similar specs to your EON subs (depending on which series you're talking about). They are really great subs, but you do get a different kind of sound vs. single woofer or an 18". Definitely fantastic for smaller venues & events.
Is still worth it in 2020 buy it?🤔🤔
@prodigymediagroup Congrats! Can we ask where you bought it? Don't forget, we are Authorized dealers for everything we sell, including QSC. We ship for free, and never a sales tax. When you purchase from us, it keeps our lights on and keeps the camera filming the videos that everybody tells us they enjoy watching. Thanks.
@ljmike1204 Yes, we would agree on this point. The mains definitely need to be a little higher.
I really love jbls but down here in trinidad there isnt anyone here as yet with the k series as yet. Do they sound as loud or louder than jbl eon sub series? I want to make the switch because of space in my vehicle
i love to have 2 of them with the k12 top i only dislike the pole mount it brings the horn on ear hight it souns like crap than but its a cool set up
the sub looks nice but the question is how do they sound like
sup if i wanted to use 4 ksubs and 4 k10s or k8s....IE two subs and tops on left two of each on right channel.....how would that be wired as far as comming from the mixer outs......thanks
Series.. 1 and 2 channel with 4 on each channel
I would imagine that the 2 K12 would handle the 2 instruments and vocals.
@P1001AT2 I have hit the limit on these before, simply because they hit the limit WAY before the k12 tops do. just watch out. I set my gain on the back of the subs one notch below max to avoid hitting the limit.
You are going to get more mid bass out fo the 12" of course just by the physics involved. 10" vs 12" driver.
Where make K12???
The QSC KSUB sounds great for their size! Are they the same output as a powered 18"? Nope. BUT, they are designed to be in a totally different league. These are small, easy to move around, and sound awesome. Like we mentioned in the vid - imagine having 2 of these side by side under your skirted table at a wedding reception. Your guests will wonder where all the sound is coming from! That extra bass energy is what gets the party going earlier, gets em dancing & gets you the referrals!!!
How does this sub compare to the QSC HPR 115i or the Mackie swa1501 feel free to respond with a private message.
@vancouverdogdowncast Bandpass
Even the KW122 and KW152 are mostly made in china. I think only the wood boxes are domestic.
@jakisjulio Hey Julio. The gear you're looking at is great. It may be a bit of a stretch for 400 people though. Shoot us an email to sales at agiprodj dot com. We have some ideas...
why would i run the risk to push my sub to hard
