And what makes #2 even more creepy: The Void is in the Overthere. So the land of the dead is ALSO at risked of getting erased. No one is safe. NOT EVEN THE DEAD.
I actually first heard of #2 because of this scene. Having gotten the game myself this year and finally playing it, I think Rabbid should have mention the Utter silence of this part because it was extremely unsettling.
In the comics, she has a baby with no problems. _However, that doesn't stop the fact that the Joker had no idea about it, and didn't even realize she was gone for nine months._
You know what I think is creepy? Mega Mewtwo. Think about it this way: Arceus, god of the Poke-world, has a Base Stat Total of 720. Both Mega Mewtwos have a BST of 780. Humanity in Pokemon... Engineered a creature... That is literally stronger than their version of God. Think about that for a minute. Humanity could destroy their own god using their creation. It's really grim, and when you think about it, it has a foreboding nature when you consider the massive scientific progress we've made in the modern day.

when i saw undertale in the cover i thought you'd cover how chara's jumpscare look is the true form of chara, as they are now a mummified corpse. how do i know this? it has all the traits of real life mummies once they are dug up mid-rot! nasty dark rotten liquid pouring out of all orifices, trapped gas finding a way out through the mouth, where it makes the jaw and throat produce scream-like noise as the gas vibrates them, producing the illusion of laughter. it makes sense, as the first coffin in the coffin room is found open, since it was probably opened by Toriel whilst she buried the corpse elsewhere while she was leaving Asgore. and where is that? the exact place you land on as you fall! which is why you are holding a used bandage in your inventory, why flowers grow so readily there, and why Asriel can be seen there post-game. Chara wanted to be buried amongst flowers, right? the jumpscare itself is what Toriel saw as she unwrapped the bandages on Chara. have some good sleep tonight!
Idk if this has been addressed, but I think the implication that Chell has been trapped in Aperture since childhood and escapes only to find that an indeterminate amount of years have passed (also alien invasion?) is much creepier than the gel experiments
GLaDOS's character is strangely complex, which is why I like her. If she was the normal sarcastic evil villain trope, I don't think I'd be as attached.
15:43 Um. Excuse me. Didn't you just tell us a whole 6 seconds ago that *Mario fucking died and went to hell*? And you didn't realize particularly disturbing had already happened by that point?
IkeFanboy64 you’re not getting, the void bends the fabric of nature, Death is nature, meaning if the void consumed you, you are gone from existence, never to be seen in either Heaven or Hell
The darkest/saddest part of the neutral endings, to me, are that Alphys likely killed herself, leaving Undyne and Mettaton feeling guilty if they're left alive, and the amalgamates Alphys hid were probably left to starve to death.
As an extension to Super Paper Mario there's the overthere, this game's version of heaven. You can see the void in the overthere, which means it will also destroy the afterlife.
Remember folks, we just do what we're told... Reminds me of the Creative ending in Hotline Miami, when you realize you are actually talking to...! I won't spoil it.
Actually Paul dini wanted her to be pregnant but rocksteady didn’t and made it where she had false positives in the dlc. Pretty sick move from rocksteady.
Oh, and of course, the whole scenario with Chauncey (first you deal with Neville, then with Lydia, then with Chauncey) sounds an awful lot like a serial killer who's broken in to a home, slaughtered the parents and is now aiming to murder their baby.
A horror game where there's no threat, but you think there is? I feel as though that may fall apart quickly. You could only go so long before realizing that the threat isn't there. You could become comfortable in that fact and become aware nothing is ever going to get you or jump-scare you. The scariest thing about horror is not knowing so the game would have to be very short if there really was nothing to keep you from finding out. Thing is people would figure out anyways, people take risks just to figure out how they die so the scheme would fall apart very quickly. It also completely destroys replay-ability and makes it so that if anyone learns the secret they would hardly be scared by it.
True but I feel like it'd make a good experiment. Maybe make it have a % chance for a threat to show up, potentially making each playthrough different.
+rabbidluigi THAT could work. It would stress as to what's there if anything! It makes you want to not look like a fool as well. Thing is if nothing's there on your first run you could finish the game and leave without anything happening..... Still it would be neat if there were many different creatures and killers with different functions and different ways to kill you as well as different environments.
I'd say the most disturbing hidden lore is in Dark Souls 3. The lore of Oceiros, the Consumed King, suggests that he had sex with his own mother and fathered 3 "imperfect children", the youngest being named Ocelotte, who is part dragon, and therefore is really hard to kill...but can still feel pain. If you sift through the game files, you'll notice the music track from the boss fight with Oceiros is there, but what plays during the fight is chopped up into small pieces. The parts that were left in play a baby crying. The parts that got cut are of a baby screaming bloody murder as something mashes him like a potato and tears his flesh from his bones with its teeth...over and over again. The full track cycles through 3 brutal mutilations before the crying stops. It's implied that Oceiros brutally murdered and possibly even ate his own son because he was imperfect. For the sake of diversity, let's ignore the fact that Bloodborne's a game where you eat an umbilical cord and get raped as a result, though.
My friend has played Dark Souls and he might know what you are talking about Good theory and im not gonna make that “ A GAME THEORY” joke its too overused
Dead babies mentioned twice in one rabbidluigi video? what is this! I'm almost surprised there was no mention of EarthBound. Then there could be 3 dead babies. I guess you can't go too overboard.
***** Earthbound as in Mother 2 specifically. Funnily enough, another "creepy video game thing" I just watched had mention of exactly what i was expecting
329link Exactly what I'm talking about. And while I was expecting it, it doesn't mean that I want it. I know that Shigesato Itoi had debunked the popular theory, but you also have to remember that Itoi only really made the story for the game, not the art. The spriters for the game could have been taking creative liberty and purposely made Giygas to look that way. But honestly, I'm confused why I'm trying to defend the theory. I friggin hate the theory, and I personally like the idea that the "face" of Giygas looks like an upside down version of his head from Mother 1/EarthBound Beginnings, possibly showing that there still is some of Giygas still trying to survive and escape the madness he created.
there cant be that many........ or wait Luigi's Mansion, Dante's Inferno........ yeah hell there might actually be enough for a list......... well shit thats gonna be depressing......
Well, yeah she could've had a miscarriage, or it could be what you just said, a false positive result. Harley seems like some one that would easily obsess over something like that, now add a dead joker to the mix and you get a perfect mental break down. I mean, with the joker gone, desperately clinging to a false pregnancy test result is something that seems very doable. It really could've been either way huh?
Paul dini wrote the story with the intent of her being pregnant but rocksteady didn’t like that and wrote it as negative. So it’s an interesting thought but is more unintentional given what happened production wise. Dick move on rocksteady really.
Yes, when playing Junkrat of attack he says something along the lines of "So we get to shoot stuff and then blow up a bunch of Omnics and get PAID? I love this job!"
I won't lie, I always love it when Super Paper Mario (or really any game I've actually played) makes it to your countdown. I know it's not an uncommon feeling but still...
Honestly, I half expected Five Nights at Freddy's to be mentioned here, but honestly, FNaF's backstory is more intriguing than it is truly scary. It doesn't help that the fanbase has turned the infamous Purple Guy into some badass assassin instead of a true serial killer. And then I guess Pokemon would basically be cheating since you're doing it the entire next month. I also somewhat expected some Kirby stuff in here, such as the mysterious Zero or the whole Shiver Star thing.
What about the fact that Dark Matter has been potentially involved with every "main series" boss in Kirby since Dream Land 2, with the only notable exceptions being Daroach and Star Dream.
I wouldn't even call that a good ending, in the sense Rabbid is going for. That one's more so to torment the player, because why else would you get that ending unless you deliberately went in to see what would happen if you killed all the boss characters? (By all means, some people may have done it, but it'd be incredibly unlikely). It's meant to point out how ridiculous your ploys are, trying to unearth some sort of new information by any means necessary. Just like how even Flowey will get tired of you after awhile. The neutral endings are all pretty darn amazing though. Even with the foreboding idea of them being stuck there forever, it's interesting to see how character development and unraveling occurs with each individual course of events. My favorite ending is actually the one where you kill only Mettaton, just because the ending gives you so much more development in the characters.
Sorry for the late reply, but the corset is unlikely to be the culprit here. In the 19th century (or even a bit earlier), corsets were worn by women everyday, even during pregnancies. There were even maternity corsets before the corset became unfashionable. And take note that not every woman was forcing herself into a corset, which was too tight, they got their corsets well-fitted.
Two things about the Overwatch listing- 1. Just to note, the events of the actual game are non-canon. While all the payloads do tell a story, the actual characters would not have been the ones escorting it. Of course it makes the listing no less creepy, it's just something I thought I'd point out. 2. Since there's the new christmas version of the map, does this mean you're escorting a bomb for committing a hate crime disguised as Santa's sleigh? That's cold, man.
When I first watched this I didn't think anything of #9, but uh, now that I know that it's pretty much canon that Alphys LITERALLY COMMITS S/U/I/C/I/D/E at the end of the Neutral rotue is pretty fucking depressing
Silent Hill universe is pretty damn creepy already as it is, but there's one idea, one throw away line that gets you thinking. A line Vincent meant as a joke when he told it to Heather in Silent Hill 3: "Monsters? They look like monsters to you?" It is a joke line.. or is it? What if all of those monsters you killed were merely hallucinations and in reality happened to be actual people? And considering the 'Possessed' ending of the game, that idea is sort of given a nudge.
329link Transition usually serves as a nod to what almost made it to the list. Pokémon Platinum almost made it with its creepy lore. WHAT HAPPENED IN THAT LAB!!!???!!!
Most Pokedex entries aren't the sort of "fridge horror" stuff that Rabbid was talking about in this episode. For the most part, they're pretty clear cut about what horrifying tendencies or origins some Pokemon have.
maybe it was the joker. in arkham asylum he said that slapping around harley is a hobby. but maybe harley thought batman was responsible. further adding to her hatred and need for revenge
The Green Scorpion Hey, if your reading this, I have an idea if there is another weapons month "Psionics" Please don't be mad, I don't pay attention to everything.
Final Fantasy has all kinds of messed up shit. But I think one of the worst is in X, after you find out that...spoilers in case anyone is playing the game... ...Yuna will die once she completes her pilgrimage. It gets even worse when it dawns on you that every single person that ever became a summoner was willingly accepting and travelling to their deaths. And to add insult to injury, the higher ups of the Yevon faith know the sacrifices made by the summoners and their guardians are for nothing.
I was a bit surprised at the 'elf wars' from MMZ not being in here, but then I remembered; creepy, not disturbing/horrifying/dispairing. Important distinction that.
I think the link between MMZ and Legends is the most gutting fridge horror I've experienced. That everything Megaman, X, Zero and every other hero from the series worked for, eventually failed. Peace broke down and humanity went extinct, with only machines and the Carbons left behind as testament to mankind's failure. And all that comes out in Legends 2, so it predates Neir Automata. (Which is also great on the 'mankind is gone' front, but pays a lot more attention to it.) The idea that all those struggles amounted to nothing but a stay on mankind's execution, that even Zero's heroism wasn't enough, that sticks with me to this day.
The Goombas are explicitly described as traitors to the Mushroom Kingdom in the manual. None of them are innocent. The real horror of Super Mario Bros. is that all those bricks you've been smashing looking for pocket change and power ups are, (again: according to the manual) actually the transformed residents of the kingdom. The average Mario player murders hundreds of innocents.
Harley Quinn is a very sad character. I honestly feel for her. She’s in an abusive relationship and suffering from Stockholm syndrome. She isn’t necessarily evil at heart, but she’s confused thinking she’s in love and only doing her bad out of the desire to be loved by someone who doesn’t feel the same for her. It makes her a sympathetic villain and makes the joker even more of a psychotic villain, happily using the only person who actually cares for him and wants to be with him.
While you're right about the joker using her, she is also a horrible person by herself. In the old comics she used babies and families as leverage for blackmailing,in the new ones she still kills people that she doesn't like, in one of the recent movies she rapes Nightwing...The Joker may have tipped her over the abyss, but she refuses to climb back to sanity and morality.
K, I might be a bit biased here, but lemme point something out. There have been a TON of people that have tried to kill Mario over the past 25 years and failed miserably. Dimentio killed him and his arch nemesis, the king of all evil, in quite literally a snap of his fingers. THIS MAN IS A LEGEND
So glad you mentioned Pikmin. Imo Pikmin is the absolute king of fridge horror, every game in the series has it in droves. If you want more fridge horror, look into the plasma wraith from Pikmin 3 and how it connects to Pikmin 2's story (like olimar's ship and stuff)
Dust Man is worse than you think. He didn't start hording broken robots when he became a Robot Master, he'd been doing it all along as a sanitation bot, because the question isn't what are broken robots to Dust Man, it's what are broken robots to HUMANS, and the answer is garbage. Garbage that should be hauled away by another robot.
"I still want to see a horror game where there's no concrete threat but the atmosphere makes you think that there is. Feel like it's been done before but everyone is obsessed with jump scares nowadays so maybe not." ... So, real life?
Speaking of SPM, here another "Fun" fact: As you finally arrive to The Overthere, you notice that the void is still here. That mean that even the afterlife isn't safe at all. Man, I sometime ask how the writer in the team got those crazy ideas for a Mario game...but really, I'm not complaining.
Finally someone that knows what's up. Seriously, is any of the stuff mentioned in the video even remotely secret if you play the game? Ubloke kirby's amazing lore
In World of Warcrafts Raid "Naxxramas" you can occasionally hear a woman scream "Help me! Save me!" not so creepy while walking through a giant Necropolia full of undead, but the creepy thing is about the boss "Thaddius" because after you kill him, the screams stop.
I love creepiness, the way I see it, creepiness has to take a long time and be more subtle, for example pretend your walking down a street in the middle of the night, you turn and notice just a black figure shaped like a man in some window just sitting there and staring although you can only see his out line, jump scares, even if they do make me jump they're not satisfying at all, but creepiness just gets scarier as you think about they things happening, which I love.
Well, The Amazing World of Gumball explained how one of the characters (Carrie Krueger) was born a ghost. Her father used a magic book to be able to physically touch the woman he loved, who was a ghost. They got a baby, but the man was cursed for using that book and is now stuck in limbo. Pretty cool backstory for a cartoon character.
I just realized...what the fuck is up with bowser jr? I get that bowser made him believe that peach is his mom, and later he realized she isn't, but she never really denied it. Soooooooooooo...
I did some research on the Harley pregnancy test stuff, and it turns out that the hormone they detect is still produced if you miscarry. This means that Harley wasn't ever pregnant, it was a false positive as the tests would have still read positive if she had miscarried
This video would have fitted kirby's horryfying and actually secret lore way better than the other Mario ones in this list which are just in your face slightly creepy facts
So, you missed a great part in the Undertale lore. All of the souls in the Flowey fight attack you with different weapons A pan, tap shoes, a pan, a knife... All of the weapons you can get in game. You not only get the weapons of the dead children, but you basically also get to see where they died.
Just a little note about Giratina. In its pokedex entry, it states that Giratina was banished to the distortion world for its violent acts. Now, go look through the pokedex at some of the violent and downright gruesome things many pokemon do and remember this: whatever any of them do, its not bad enough to have them sent away. Imagine what Giratina must have done for its special treatment.
For a moment, I was thinking about kingdom hearts. While everything is Disney in the front.. there’s always the reports. There was a lot of darkness in the entries... a king essentially carried out human abduction, torture modification and experimentation, just for the sake of curiosity. And that was just tucked away in kh1. The current stuff centers around a place where a guy orchestrated a near mass cult genocide and the destruction of the world as he knew it. Sure it’s more detailed than that, but thinking about it, that’s technically what went down. It’s just dressed up with Disney and love so no one cares or thinks about it.
But for the Undertale one, sure the neutral runs are... interesting. But you have to keep in mind that, the *hidden creepiest lore* in that game is Gaster. He does not appear in the game only if you mess with the game files. Technically, he's part of the lore because of a few npcs mentioning him before Alphys took over. And that there's only 1 room that he appears from. After talking/leaving he just doesn't appear again. To me, thats the creepiest and very well hidden. The neutral ones on the other hand... If you get bored enough and like to do the game over and over again for a bit of slightly different text based on how you treated the world. But, eh, oh well.
Yeah I'm surprised he didn't mention Gaster. It makes you wonder that if Gaster was erased from existence, how do we have a chance to see him? The saddest lore in the game would have to be Chara's though. While it's not creepy it's...really sad that it's likely they fell into the Underground trying to commit suicide. The fact that they end up caring about monsters so much they actually succeed at killing themselves solely to try and free them is really sad too.
In luigi's mansion, all the painting ghosts, like the ghost baby were paintings by a ghost painter, and all the things he painted became ghosts. They were never alive. It's very explicitly stated in the game, yet everyone on youtube just freaks out over the ghost baby.
That is exactly the opposite of what is stated in the game. All of the generic ghosts that don't really look like people were created by the ghost painter. The rest were real ghosts (or Boos).
in case nobody got it, fridge horror is called that because it's the dawning terror that occurs when something festers in your mind and then you suddenly realize the terror while doing mundane tasks, like taking a shower, mowing the lawn, tossing out the garbage or even getting a snack from the fridge
As you mentioned the shadow temple, I personally find the (possible) backstory to it way more unsettling. There is nothing more gruesome than torturing and experimenting on living beings.
In the base game of Destiny there are enemies known as Vex Gorgons. They are by far the most dangerous enemies in the game as instead of killing you, they literally erase you from time itself. You never existed. The fact that that classes as lore really hurts me.
True, but not so true at the same time, as erasing your character from existence would also mean erasing said character from the game as well, i.e deleting your data, and, well, we know that doesn't happen. Plus with your ghost around, permanent death isn't possible, the only way to permanently kill off a guardian would be to destroy the one thing that brings them back, their ghost. I'm fairly certain said ghost would be able to keep a guardian killed by a vex gorgon from being erased from existence.
Not necessarily, you have to remember Praedyth. In the mission to rescue him from the Vex, you keep getting transmissions from him as in hope that you're almost about to arrive to his location and his his last call he is killed by the Vex. When you finally arrive to his location deep in the Vault of Glass. You find just his skeleton, no ghost or any of his armor, just his skeleton. And it is then revealed as soon as you scan him that his remains that he has been long dead even though you were receiving his transmissions as if he had just been sending them out to you.
MegaDrain I'm well aware of that, but my point still stands. For the record, when Praedyth was found, he was nothing but BONE, meaning he had been dead for some time. The only reason his transmissions were picked up is because of the vault of glass' unique time-bending properties. In simpler terms, Time is a little fucked up inside the vault due to the vex's meddling in the space-time continuum, not because he was actually alive until found.
"I still want to see a horror game where there's no concrete threat but the atmosphere makes you think that there is." Have you tried Anatomy by Kitty Horrorshow? It's a short game, but it fits your description almost perfectly.
What if it wasn't Batman, but Talia Al Ghul the one who caused Harley to have a miscarriage since she beat her and then tied her up to a metal post before Harley could deliver the cure to the Joker. Or maybe Joker's baby was also sick from Titan poisoning.
the revelation loses impact if it isnt batman. and it doest take much to cause a miscarriage early in pregnancy...... and the amount of time batman throws around harley quinn would be enough to cause atleast some damage the baby
Either way the baby couldn’t survive that long but when you think of it the game Arkham City is just on big night which makes it all such a big mystery to how many times this has happened
Tbh I wished Rabbid talked about the hidden lore of the True Lab. Alphys took innocent monsters to this secret lab. Alphys fused them together with DETERMINATION. Alphys left them for dead. When you think about it, she was a cold hearted monster for not accepting the fact she did something wrong.
Asgore asked her to do this to already dead monsters. And she did indeed realize it was wrong after they became the amalgamates, ceasing her experiments immediately.
Fun fact, even though I didn't notice the easter egg for Harley, I only hit the reflex button when she charged at me on my first playthrough, on the other three playthroughs so far I've dodged her charge altogether, let her hit me, and made a well timed rabbit punch to the face. ... I tend to mess around when I replay games.
I'd like you to make a top list of "great games you probably never played." Here are some examples If you've played all of these to some extent, you are my new favorite person ;-) 1. Muramasa: The Demon Blade 2. Psychonauts 3. Pocket Fighter/Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix 4. Maximo: Ghosts To Glory 5. Avalon Code
Dark Star WOW, really?! At least I'm not alone. Here are some others that you probably haven't played: 1. Castle Of Shikigami 3 2. Terranigma 3. Pulstar 4. Twinkle Star Sprites 5. Raiden Fighters Aces
She didn't 'offload' the baby onto her sister she gave her to her because she knew Joker wouldn't like it and would probably kill her. Also it's not in the main continuity it's in the Injustice continuity. Harley in the Arkham games, not good stuff tbh cos they wrote her entire personality revolving around her abuser Ugh. Arkham Knight could have done so much but nah they dropped Paul Dini as the writer gosh darn it
Uh, every time I hear people talk about Capcom and Mega Man I always have to wonder what great alternate universe they are living in, because Mega Man hadn't been selling well for years by the time they pulled the plug. (Remember that ZX Advent didn't even get a sequel, and people yelled at them for 10) They were fully within the bounds of reasonablility to cancel the games currently in development when Inafune, the guy who basically ran the entire thing, decieded he didn't want to stay anymore.
Getting myself ready for this year’s Halloween video by watching this one! Arbiter’s Grounds, as creepy as it is, is probably my favorite temple in all of Zelda.
Sebastian Castro Legend has it that if you say legend enough times it drives you insane as you keep saying legend. But hey, that's just a legend. h e l p m e
I know this is a game mentioned a lot but some of the lore you can find in the Dark Souls series can be downright creepy and depressing. I'm mean the two ending choices for 1 and 2 are either to destroy the world with fire or allow the world to fall into darkness.
Its not supposed to be a jump scare. The reason he included it as the background is that this video is about hidden creepy lore Its a pretty common poketheory based on multiple pokedex entries, that Arceus is the god of pokemon who banished Giratina, the demon of pokemon, to the distortion world, or pokemon's version of hell That's why Giratina would be considered creepy, not just because of the way he appears
I came here because RabbidLuigi uploaded. The Photoshop Flowey thumbnail definitely did not influence my decision to click on this video over JonTron's latest one in the slightest bit. No, sir... **Wink wink** **Hint hint** **Nudge nudge**
The other thing about Undertale is that each play through affects the next one. So, Flowey will actually remember who you killed last play through, for example.
Zash of The Kyobi yeah, but that "one child" was possessed by an evil spirit named Chara. and as for how well the underground would do against adults... well... lets just hope they're bullet proof... and explosion proof... and Attack Helicopter proof... and fire proof... and nuclear warhead proof... and... well, you get the point, right?
@MD-777Music What happens if I don''t believe in Hell, or any form of religion for that matter besides agnosticism. Am I allowed to have my own opinion and like a game then?
I doubt Chara was actually the cause of the No Mercy Run. We're told that they loved monsters so much they poisoned themselves so Asriel could use their soul to get 6 others and free the monsters.
Ive been trying to look for a video on this kind of things for ages. Only ever finding video on the basic horror stuff. Finally found it thanks :) subscribed

nasty dark rotten liquid pouring out of all orifices, trapped gas finding a way out through the mouth, where it makes the jaw and throat produce scream-like noise as the gas vibrates them, producing the illusion of laughter.

Idk if this has been addressed, but I think the implication that Chell has been trapped in Aperture since childhood and escapes only to find that an indeterminate amount of years have passed (also alien invasion?) is much creepier than the gel experiments

Actually, if you stand in the King's Row factory and look downwards... you can see an entire omnic city.
That's what you EMP
RIP guy from walking dead! Have we spoke before? 😂😂
Holy shit, I never realised that's what it was
I never want to win on attack in Kings Row ever again...
...Oh my god.
You know what? NO. I'm willing to lose on King's Row attack if it means that the omnics don't get EMP'd.
And see, this is why I play Paladins. You push a minecart to the opposing side to blow them up in a comedic way instead of committing mass genocide.
The darkest/saddest part of the neutral endings, to me, are that Alphys likely killed herself, leaving Undyne and Mettaton feeling guilty if they're left alive, and the amalgamates Alphys hid were probably left to starve to death.
Snowflake Productions Acrually, if you date alphys and get the neutral ending, she's fine
Pretty sure she only goes suicidal if you kill mettaton...
Also a fun thing, killing everyone has alphys survive as well
As an extension to Super Paper Mario there's the overthere, this game's version of heaven. You can see the void in the overthere, which means it will also destroy the afterlife.
You take care of it after beating the game, but the first time you go to the overthere you see the void the entire time.
The Red Guy No, it doesn’t mean that as that’s impossible.
TheZeldaExperienceWithin the afterlife is a world and the void erases worlds so logic says it can destroy the afterlife.

...geesh...
Jkop Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, you're in no danger for quite a lot of it.

Wait what? What's the part of the game that suggests Oceiros had sex with his mother?
My friend has played Dark Souls and he might know what you are talking about Good theory and im not gonna make that “ A GAME THEORY” joke its too overused
The dragon part makes sense though. Babby's a bloody TANK!
Or, the publisher said 'nope you can't leave it in', the developer removed it, but forgot to remove the last pieces. Or didn't have time.
Brimstone_HD{GD} true, and unlike Game Theory you’ve actually done your research
Dead babies mentioned twice in one rabbidluigi video? what is this! I'm almost surprised there was no mention of EarthBound. Then there could be 3 dead babies. I guess you can't go too overboard.
***** Earthbound as in Mother 2 specifically. Funnily enough, another "creepy video game thing" I just watched had mention of exactly what i was expecting
if you're talking about the thing with giygas being a fetus, that got debunked by the creator who's name I can't spell.
ARB Pride yeah. And then there's TaneTane Island and The Chimera Labs. In fact, just the existence of Chimeras in general is a creepy thing.
I've always seen Giygas being a screaming face, and only if I "wanna" see the baby thing, I see the baby.
It's honestly not creepy though.
...Top 5 dead babies in video games?...
there cant be that many........ or wait Luigi's Mansion, Dante's Inferno........ yeah hell there might actually be enough for a list......... well shit thats gonna be depressing......
Yummy...
Earthbound, kinda.
And then get the FBI at your door the next day. How are you going to explain why you clicked a video called ''Top 5 dead babies'' ?
...What the flying dingo dicks!?

Jesus Christ, I never realized that about King's Row's payload. So for 200 hours, I've been pushing an EMP that's gonna kill robots? Fuck
Are we certain that we couldn't be putting the EMP away so no one can use it?
Yes, when playing Junkrat of attack he says something along the lines of "So we get to shoot stuff and then blow up a bunch of Omnics and get PAID? I love this job!"
I'm pretty sure that they lets out a blue pulse when it reaches the destination, so I doubt it.

How did the fanbase make Purple Guy that? Just asking though, as I've never heard it like that.
What about the fact that Dark Matter has been potentially involved with every "main series" boss in Kirby since Dream Land 2, with the only notable exceptions being Daroach and Star Dream.
Also, he technically wasn't. But, if you watch Game Theory, Matthew sees him as potentially sympathetic.
FNAF's lore is more interesting than the actual games except the Sister Location

Some of the neutral Undertale endings are pretty good. Like the one if the dog becomes king.
Francis Whitehead Insert Dog Song here
It's not much of a good ending for Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne and Mettaton though.
Francis Whitehead Annoying Dog is the best
Sebastien Stevens A lot.
I can't count em all.
My favorite ending is actually the one where you kill only Mettaton, just because the ending gives you so much more development in the characters.
just realized; why is Harley wearing a corset while pregnant? are we sure that's not what killed the baby? the blame's kind-of on her as well.
LuckyKoneko oh shiii-
Or you know, challenging people to fistfights.
Sorry for the late reply, but the corset is unlikely to be the culprit here. In the 19th century (or even a bit earlier), corsets were worn by women everyday, even during pregnancies. There were even maternity corsets before the corset became unfashionable. And take note that not every woman was forcing herself into a corset, which was too tight, they got their corsets well-fitted.
i just got an emulator for mother 3 and i want to go through sans spoilers. thanks for including a skip button, dude. you rock

Two things about the Overwatch listing-
That's cold, man.
hey i noticed your user:
are you doing alright?
Jesus, Rabbid. That last one. Holy shit. This was a great video, but still.
Harley really never can catch a break.
Jkop I feel really bad for her.
Same here, that's really fucking sad :'(
No batman didn't kill the baby joker bought a fake pregnancy test and gave it to harley
Doesn't make it any less traumatic for Harley though.
When I first watched this I didn't think anything of #9, but uh, now that I know that it's pretty much canon that Alphys LITERALLY COMMITS S/U/I/C/I/D/E at the end of the Neutral rotue is pretty fucking depressing
WAIT WHAT
Yeah.
"Neutral Endings Screw Everyone"
That, is a BRILLIANT name.
Oh fuck you
No pokedex entries? That surprised me.
I mean it is poke month next month, probably held off for that,
now that you mention it, I'm kinda shocked pokemon didn't appear once besides the transition.
329link Transition usually serves as a nod to what almost made it to the list. Pokémon Platinum almost made it with its creepy lore. WHAT HAPPENED IN THAT LAB!!!???!!!
Thorozak_ Where they made the Red Chain in the Galactic Building?
Most Pokedex entries aren't the sort of "fridge horror" stuff that Rabbid was talking about in this episode. For the most part, they're pretty clear cut about what horrifying tendencies or origins some Pokemon have.
I like the improved audio for your face time segments. Kudos to you-dos.

Please don't be mad, I don't pay attention to everything.
Brian C yeah, that messed me up the first time I played through X. However, it's not fridge horror material since they tell you this via cutscenes.
Gregory Walpole Paper Mario proves there are innocent Goombas.
Gavin Mahoney ikr
Dimentio=Thanos confirmed.

As you finally arrive to The Overthere, you notice that the void is still here.

2- Kirby
1- Kirby
Kirby, Kirby, Kirby. That’s the name you should know.
16:56 "There's no women thugs in any of these games!" That's not true, what about Talia's ninjas in Arkham City?
Then he came back to life, then died again

Just a little note about Giratina. In its pokedex entry, it states that Giratina was banished to the distortion world for its violent acts. Now, go look through the pokedex at some of the violent and downright gruesome things many pokemon do and remember this: whatever any of them do, its not bad enough to have them sent away. Imagine what Giratina must have done for its special treatment.
404 - Planet Not Found. Also, no Kirby? Disappoint
"I still want to see a horror game where there's no concrete threat but the atmosphere makes you think that there is."
Gone Home was this for me.
The rest were real ghosts (or Boos).
in case nobody got it, fridge horror is called that because it's the dawning terror that occurs when something festers in your mind and then you suddenly realize the terror while doing mundane tasks, like taking a shower, mowing the lawn, tossing out the garbage
or even
getting a snack from the fridge
come on, I'm not a Cannibal i'm a graveyard keeper, how could i eat my brothers?
As you mentioned the shadow temple, I personally find the (possible) backstory to it way more unsettling.
There is nothing more gruesome than torturing and experimenting on living beings.
In the base game of Destiny there are enemies known as Vex Gorgons. They are by far the most dangerous enemies in the game as instead of killing you, they literally erase you from time itself. You never existed.
The fact that that classes as lore really hurts me.
True, but not so true at the same time, as erasing your character from existence would also mean erasing said character from the game as well,
i.e deleting your data, and, well, we know that doesn't happen.
Plus with your ghost around, permanent death isn't possible, the only way
to permanently kill off a guardian would be to destroy the one thing that brings them back, their ghost. I'm fairly certain said ghost would be able to
keep a guardian killed by a vex gorgon from being erased from existence.
+Yoshitotem Lore wise, the guardians never die to a Vex Gorgons.
***** At the same time, even in the lore, guardians can't be permanently killed unless their ghost is destroyed.
Top 10 Heartbreaking Twists.
TVTropes is calling out to you, Mr. Will.
I feel like he's missing the obvious bridge that Baby Chauncey is Harley and the Joker's ghost baby.
That's not quite what happened but ok
Asgore asked her to do this to already dead monsters. And she did indeed realize it was wrong after they became the amalgamates, ceasing her experiments immediately.
Fridge horror: that one episode of cowboy bebop
The one with the monkeys?
Which one was it again
Fun fact, even though I didn't notice the easter egg for Harley, I only hit the reflex button when she charged at me on my first playthrough, on the other three playthroughs so far I've dodged her charge altogether, let her hit me, and made a well timed rabbit punch to the face.
... I tend to mess around when I replay games.
I'd like you to make a top list of "great games you probably never played."
Here are some examples
If you've played all of these to some extent, you are my new favorite person ;-)
1. Muramasa: The Demon Blade
2. Psychonauts
3. Pocket Fighter/Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
4. Maximo: Ghosts To Glory
5. Avalon Code
I've actually played all of them for at least an hour apiece
Dark Star
WOW, really?! At least I'm not alone. Here are some others that you probably haven't played:
1. Castle Of Shikigami 3
2. Terranigma
3. Pulstar
4. Twinkle Star Sprites
LEGEND HAS IT THAT IF YPU ARE EALRY THE CREATOR WILL REPLY!!!
Sebastian Castro Legend has it that this legend is merely a legend and like many other legends, this legend is a false legend.
legend legend legend
+Cartoon Critic legend of Zelda!
legends speak of a legendary warrior whose skill was the stuff of legends....
Who else was jump scared by Giratina in Pokemon Platinum? :)
The Poke'Saurus I first played it when it first came out and I didn't think anything of it. Honestly I don't think it's creepy what so ever.
Its not supposed to be a jump scare.
The reason he included it as the background is that this video is about hidden creepy lore
Its a pretty common poketheory based on multiple pokedex entries, that Arceus is the god of pokemon who banished Giratina, the demon of pokemon, to the distortion world, or pokemon's version of hell
That's why Giratina would be considered creepy, not just because of the way he appears
Jarod Thompson I wasn't meaning it in that way. I understand why he included it but I just never found it intimidating at all
oh you mean that actual scene in the game
yeah it isn't very intimidating no lol
The Poke'Saurus 8 year Old me
The rest of these just made me go "Hmmm..." in my head in a concerned tone. But the last one actually made my blood run cold.
I came here because of TV Flowey.
I came here because RabbidLuigi uploaded.
The Photoshop Flowey thumbnail definitely did not influence my decision to click on this video over JonTron's latest one in the slightest bit. No, sir... **Wink wink** **Hint hint** **Nudge nudge**
Kapanyo I don't get it....
Never mind, I was agreeing with you.
Kapanyo Ok.
Bowler Hat Girl we all came here because of that
The other thing about Undertale is that each play through affects the next one. So, Flowey will actually remember who you killed last play through, for example.
Here is something creepy. In Undertale, one child managed to massacre the entire underground.... How did they fair against adults with weaponry..
UNDERTALE IS A SHIT GAME AND YOU SHOULD GO TO HELL FOR LIKING IT!
@MD-777Music
What happens if I don''t believe in Hell, or any form of religion for that matter besides agnosticism. Am I allowed to have my own opinion and like a game then?
I doubt Chara was actually the cause of the No Mercy Run. We're told that they loved monsters so much they poisoned themselves so Asriel could use their soul to get 6 others and free the monsters.
MkalluxArchives so just because we have opinions, we automatically offend you? Dang your life must be uneventful
Ive been trying to look for a video on this kind of things for ages. Only ever finding video on the basic horror stuff. Finally found it thanks :) subscribed
The existence of Chauncey has a much more G-Rated explanation: Lidia and Neville both died before conceiving him.
Kevin Hanson I honestly feel like ghost in Mario are there own living beings separated from humans
A horror game where there's no threat, but good atmosphere, a perceived threat, and legit terror? Layers of Fear, bro.
