I think it would be clever of them if they established this Lester character before he showed up, like, make it a consistent character trait of Mojo that he is a fan of this guy, or, say, there's a supervillain convention and they discuss this Lester guy. Or maybe Princess reads in the news how he stole the Statue of Liberty (as a reference to how David Copperfield made it "disappear" once), and she takes it as a blow to her ego, and wants to one-up him by stealing the Great Pyramids of Giza, so she can be The Princess of Egypt or something. Just throwing ideas at the wall.
You throwing ideas at the wall is much better than the show writers having a brainstorming session. Maybe the fandom should group together and make our OWN PPG reboot. I personally would love to help write something like that and, from what I've seen, several others would as well. dibs on voicing a villain at some point! lol

I really hate how powerful Buttercup is sometimes but other times she is weak just like Blossom and Bubbles. I just wish the other two would save Buttercup more and maybe ya know not have all them nerfed so badly.
It boggles the mind that this Jared man says Blossom is his favorite Powerpuff, but the show is so insistant on making her so unlikeable and boring. I don't get it. Unless he gets off on degrading his favorite character.

The real reason they don't have the space helmets is because they have giant heads and it was hard to animate. Also Bugs Bunny went to space without a helmet so they can get away with it.
A recurring problem I’ve noticed with the PPG reboot is that it never explains itself. Looking at the show, I can see some logic behind some of the things that happen in the show, but it never explains to the viewers why it happens. I think this shows how important communication is when it comes to a show entertaining an audience.
I also have that whole "timer not synqing" problem. I would honestly love it if more people made jokes about that, like asking "Wait- HOW much time do we have left?" or something.

calling it now, once Shadow Streak completes the reviews of the reboot he's gonna go back...back to the past to the original series the Whoop Ass Girls Also for Bubbles test, there was another way to give the Pizza guy a purpose. Make him the protector of the Heartstone but instead of a fight just have him secretly be testing Bubbles and once she proved herself capable of traversing the Maze and choosing to save her sisters over the HeartStorn he gives it to her. it matches Bubbles personality because she's suppose to be the kindest of trio and having the guardian see her display that during a crisis when her loved ones were in danger makes her worthy.
Supna's characterization is super weird to me. Every episode shes in she almost kills somebody but its supposed to be tragic for her? And it feels kind of weird that the only brown woman is also a ravenous spider who can't feel love Anyway, Mojo's never been obsessed with magic so idk why he likes Lester so much
I think they never really knew what to do with supna so that's why each time she feels weirdly inconsistent. In fact that's the best way I feel explains about the reboot inconsistent in character and storys.
So this is what happened to mungdal after chowder ended. The girls being turned into toys reminds me of them becoming collectibles in the original show.
Wait a minute, so the Heartstone is the one that corrupted Sapna and allows Lester to condemn the girls to a fate worse than death? That doesn't sound like a sacred relic for the pure of heart, that sounds like the Crystal Coconut from Donkey Kong's cartoon. Trust me, that's scarier than it sounds.
I swear the villain in the special is probably the largest ham this reboot series ever had in a villain. That and he was fairly competent as a manipulator, and acted straight away whenever a threat popped up.
I can understand that maybe through his years of developing his own persona, Mojo would have people he looked up to for inspiration but I just can not take how they 'fangirled' him on top of making him a joke. And that's just it; Mojo was ALREADY a joke in the older series through his mannerisms but it was those same mannerisms that made him a competent threat as well seeing as he was one of the few villains that could actually take on the girls head-to-head since he's more or less from the same event that created them....on top of being the one who, ahem, brought all the events together in order to create them. So, uh, hey....does this mean that if Mojo had stopped the Prof from making the girls he would also erase himself from existence given that even though he did have a hand in knocking the Prof and inspiring him into science, if the girls didn't exist he'd still be a normal chimp so...blessing and curse? Anyway, back on topic I just can't stand this neutered Mojo because they play it way too hard that he's a 'pathetic man child' when that isn't what he is at all. I mean, an idea like this? If the crew of the show KNEW what they were doing and had done the characters right, wouldn't it have been more of a surprise that Mojo, a competent one of course, found himself SAVED by this Lester because Lester was playing it up that he was inspired by him (Mojo) and not the other way around. I mean, we have to think about how Mojo effected the world in the OG series. I could totally see another villain looking up to him or better yet, I could see another villain playing UP that he idolized Mojo when in reality it's never ending jealousy and he only 'saves' Mojo in order to destroy him and take his place. And a result of this would be the girls being a part of his with the new baddie trying to kill FOUR birds with one stone by ridding himself of both Mojo and the girls. Something like this would have made for a better team up than the whole Jemica thing given how the Jemica arc made now fucking sense and feels like something they just shat out last minuet because they knew they couldn't keep using Jemica as a character who would fool the girls for the first half of the episode only to be revealed as 'oops, I lied!' over and over again. I don't know what else to say man. I'm glad you've stuck to this as long as you have and you've put more work into the series more than the series itself has, putting up reviews for FOUR YEARS. Gotta give you a LOTTA props on that, dude. It's just sad that it had to turn out like this. I don't think any of us wanted the reboot of the freaking POWERPUFF GIRLS to be like this which is what makes the reboot so terrible; there's no excuse for it to be this way other than the incompetence of the people they put in charge. And how it went out SILENTLY says a lot, especially when you take into account that this is a LEGACY series for CN yet they let it fade away like a bad fart. It was there but then it's gone and the only memories it leaves behind are when people remember how awful it was. What a way for the Powerpuff Girls to end.
How they treat mojo is a symptom alot of the shows these days suffer from they want the villain to be as wacky as possible its the stupid silly Billy humor that every hipster thinks is so freaking funny.
They gave Mojo Jojo a side kick in one episode of the original show. It was the episodes Prime Mates. The epsiode was cute and the ending was the funniest part.
They actually could have Sapna there due to crystal spiders appearring and attacking an Antarctic research team. It would have cause an interest for her. The crystals can make animals, so at least it would be something relevant. Or have her appear in the jungle. That would have been more fitting.
Wow. No wonder they decided not to air that pathetic excuse for a lukewarm special. I've never seen a more unsatisfactory climactic battle in my life! But I suppose it's a fitting end to that unsatisfactory special. Time to continue watching the remaining fans disappear!
I feel like they should've used her bow like they did in her comics. In the original comic series, she was devastated by the loss of her bow and couldn't be a competent leader without it. It'd make sense if she'd lose the bow for this task over her first A+.
3:26 Is this reboot capable of keeping these characters in character for more than a second. The Powerpuff Girls would never fight the Ameboae Boys. The joke is that they are lame villians and the PPG always fly away and ignore them.

I mean, the irony in the OG cartoon is that the Amoeba Boys would become threatening UNINTENTIONALLY. In “Geshundfight,” the Amoeba Boys try to be villains by standing on the grass in a “Keep off the grass” zone for a few days, but then catch a virus that makes the entire city horribly sick. In “Divide and Conquer,” they realize they can multiply themselves after splitting an orange.
Ik Blossom and Bubbles get their moments and episodes but damn does Buttercup seem like the Golden Child. It's literally about her 70% of the time I think.

I do like the idea of the plot in Maze Daze but I still hate 2016 Bubbles she will never be the same!! I wish they did a promo for this special but hey us fans could possibly make a cooler one then they ever could SHOTS FIRED!!! One of them was the advice ignorer who’s the type of person you give advice to they ignore it and they end up in this huge mess that could’ve been easily avoided if they just listened to you and your advice in the first place. I hate whenever an episode has their characters act like that just like I hate it in real life. It’s why Swarm of the Century and Bats are some of my least favorite MLP episodes and why Super Sweet 6 was my least favorite episode of the reboot before Salamander. As for Blossom not getting that much time to get her heart stone I wish she would’ve gotten her own episode too!! And it could’ve been like a few puzzle trials that Blossom had to solve showing that she’s the brains of the group. Blossom might be my least favorite Powerpuff Girl but I would still love to see an episode like that. Like me being a sucker for fantasy stories I’m also a sucker for escape room/puzzle solving episodes or shows. It’s why The Last Game of Summer is one of my favorite Craig Of The Creek episodes and why Escape the Night is my favorite UA-cam original series. icecream hero pretty short but I think a few more details could be added like a few more jokes. Maybe the reason Sedusa was annoyed was because so many guys were ogling her and their SOs could be like “STALP STEALING MY MAAAAaaaans!!!!!!” That has potential for some humor.

Cant belive it's almost over. Have to agree this special was decent. The problems with it stem from the usual problems that alot of the bad episodes have the writing. You can tell that each of the segments there were different writers so it wasnt consistent like why the girls were so cocky in the beginning but that gets forgotten about. Lester hes a interesting villain I'll give it that What makes him work is dwight Shultz voice acting. You are correct with the Vegas motif but I fekk you missed the other inspiration with his design Liberace the flamboyant pianist Who if I'm not mistaken did have a Vegas show. (If you seen Austin powers that's the joke with him saying he couldn't belive liberace was gay women loved him even though It should have been obvious if you seen video of him.) I agree the vegas motif should have played mord into the character if theres another ppg show he definitely is one to bring back and expand upon. I have this feeling the animal guardian were ment to be more new power ups for the girls and very easily marketable with the gems. Thinking on that thise guardian animals could have been a good way to explain there weird green lantern powers. This special has a weird final episode vibe to it Maybe this was ment to be the final episode but ended up being used as a special instead which might explain why the technically last episode of the series is such a dud as it was to come before this special. Well only 20 more episodes to go lets power through them.
Judging the title of this episode.. I think the songs 'All the Small Things' and 'It's a small world' is a much better title compare to this crappy reboot.
Honestly, putting how the reboot handles the villians from the og series aside.... There are some intriguing villains or at least, villian ideas, in this show. If this show was better written and a lot more like the og, I could see villains like Lester, or jemora, the fashionistas, the gnat , and sillico be really cool new antagonists. Even the bad villains they have like pack rat or allegro could be interesting if the team put real good effort into making them fun antagonists and less...how they are. Some of the ideas the show has aren't inherently bad, but its the execution holding them back in a lot of places. If the show does get another animated reboot in the future, because at this point it could happen, if it has a better team behind it I'd like to see what they'd do if they took some of the reboots ideas and properly fleshed them out alongside the best aspects of the OG. It doesn't need to happen, but it'd be intriguing to see a team take some of the better ideas of this reboot and make stories with them that are as good as the original.
To be fair to blossom on giving up her locket, if she refused to do it, they couldnt get the heartstone, and if they dont get the heartstone, townsville is doomed
I was watching cartoon network when this happened and i kinda liked it. I thought it was good for the reboot and I hoped they would make things like this more often. I have never seen it in TV again, but i’ve seen power of four like 5 times now

What makes this a special? A special is supposed to be big, game changing, something to give challenge to the heroes. this is none of that. Hell we only see lester in like 2 episodes and despite the disguise never really does anything. This is not a special, this was PR hoping to get poeple interested again by pretending its important.

45:55-50:57 I can see if the pizza guy was in there for 2 Hours or 2 Days. But he's managed to stay alive in a uncharted temple for 2 years without any water or other food besides that pizza. Not to mention how he avoided most of the traps or doesn't have that primal Tarzan look from 2 years of isolation of civilization.
Lester reminds me of brainiac but they’re both different. Both are collectors of worlds, cities, and national monuments, but the difference between them is Lester having magic and Brainiac is an alien who is a smart one I might add and he basically stays in his ship since everything outside to him either poisons or kill him.
I will argue that their attempt for Bubbles was that they were trying to make it a trial with her using her sister's talents and her own. Breaking down the wall with strength(buttercup), solving the riddle(blossom), and playing around like a kitty cat then hugging a snake(bubbles). It just could of been execuated or conveyed better. Also while I am unsure if blossom needed a whole episode for her segment(seeing I think their heart hunt just take half the episode) I do think they could of extended her heart quest a lil bit longer.
I THINK the idea of that scene in sonic adventure 2 was that it took shadow some time to get into the building rouge was in (I mean, there's not a single man made structure in sight at the end of white jungle, he probably had a ways to go). If I'm right, it simply means they poorly portrayed the passage of time, which wouldn't surprise me with that game tbh.
I’m watching Batman the animated series with my sister for the first time. I saw the timer go down and then in the next shot, IT WAS BACK UP AGAIN. I also like to count with the timer to make sure it’s correct just for fun.
The writers of the reboot have turned Mojo Jojo into a total joke. Sadly, I don’t mean that in a good way. In the OG cartoon and 2002 movie, Mojo Jojo was way too arrogant and self-centered to ever fanboy worship other villains, and that made him both hilarious and scary at different points. He was so absurdly self-confident. HE was the one who formed the Beat-Alls. He went insane, then started his repetitive speech pattern when his primate army in the movie revolted against him with their own plans to take over the world. In “Forced Kin,” he took down an alien invader by beating him up with a baguette because he went mad with jealousy over the fact that said evil alien invader was destroying Townsville in all the ways he always wanted to, and then forced him to declare that he was “the most evil.” On a few rare occasions, as much as he hated the girls and wanted to destroy them, he displayed small hints of a sibling rivalry/begrudging affection for the girls, and the girls actually trusted him to honor their deals with them. He committed crimes for them and got thrown in jail by them a bunch of times when they got hooked on getting rewarded candy from the Mayor for stopping crime, but then he pettily stole it away from them because he knew they loved it and wanted to make them upset. The girls actually trust Mojo not to break his deal and kill them all by letting him lock the three of them up, and beating up Professor in a one on one fight trying to save them from Mojo in “PowerProf.,”so they could convince their dad to stop fighting crime with them without having to hurt his feelings by telling him that they no longer wanted to fight crime with him because he was embarrassing them by doting on them, overprotecting them, and giving them unnecessary advice. Mojo actually lets the Professor beat him up in “Powerprof.” to save the girls, and doesn’t try to kill him or the girls, even though he had every opportunity to do so. In “Forced Kin,” the girls go to Mojo to try to stop a common enemy because they trust him to fight the evil alien overlord. In “Child Fearing,” Mojo orders the girls to help him take over the world as their court appointed babysitter, then they refuse, and torture him by being brats for the rest of the night in response. In “The PowerPuff Girls Rule The World,” Mojo actually does win the key to rule the world, then actually becomes a good ruler promoting world peace and happiness in a shocking twist of events, but then he gets bored with the peace and happiness, so he decides to go back to being evil again.
Hell, I get what you mean about the time limit cliche, they pulled that crap with DBZ with the infamous "five minutes before Namek explodes" line. Even the abridged series made fun of that arbitrary time limit the show had for that fight.
4:00 wow. The last appearance of the amoeba boys in the entire reboot. They were the main villains in the season one episode viral spiral and were briefly mentioned in Mojo the great and they are seen in this episode in a montage for two seconds. The sad part is That is way better than a bunch of other OG power puff girl villains in the reboot. Well they only appeared in to episodes and and one of them they were seen for two seconds in a montage they were the main villains in Viral spiral. Look at fuzzy Lumpkins for example. Well he did appear in more episodes than the amoeba boys he never did anything and never got an episode to himself. He only talked in to episodes in the reboot and one of them doesn’t even count because it was a different dimension version of him. If you got all of the moments together that he talked in the reboot it would be probably be less than 30 seconds. Every other time he appeared it was for A quick non-speaking cameo like in this episode. Another example would be the rowdy Ruff boys who made a 10 second non-speaking cameo in total eclipse of the kart and that’s all they get in the entire reboot
With how many inconsistencies there are, I might not be able to make a case for this being worse than Power of 4, but I personally think this is worse.
It's kind of a shame this entire special turned out boring. There's actually potential for something here, but the theme of this entire show is wasted potential.
Also Lester is giving me "The Red Guy" vibes from cow and chicken and I have no idea why... Granted be him and... well HIM were based of the same red skin, point tail, horn and pitchfork villian as inspiration. But still...
I'm not gonna lie I love chaotic villains like the one here. Tbh though I don't care for the reboot (but love the vids), I actually really like the villain of this special. From his design all the way to his just wanna watch the world burn attitude with the whole stealing important stuff for kicks.
The only show i have ever seen handle the time right was Archer. The bomb was counting down in real time and when they messed up the bomb and the countdown speed was 4x, even that was right. It was impressive and yet sad because shows shouldn't be impressive for getting something basic as countdowns correct.

I think it would be clever of them if they established this Lester character before he showed up, like, make it a consistent character trait of Mojo that he is a fan of this guy, or, say, there's a supervillain convention and they discuss this Lester guy. Or maybe Princess reads in the news how he stole the Statue of Liberty (as a reference to how David Copperfield made it "disappear" once), and she takes it as a blow to her ego, and wants to one-up him by stealing the Great Pyramids of Giza, so she can be The Princess of Egypt or something. Just throwing ideas at the wall.

A recurring problem I’ve noticed with the PPG reboot is that it never explains itself. Looking at the show, I can see some logic behind some of the things that happen in the show, but it never explains to the viewers why it happens. I think this shows how important communication is when it comes to a show entertaining an audience.
I’m not surprised no one talked about this. I don’t think about the PPG reboot after I get done watching your videos. It holds no headspace.

it matches Bubbles personality because she's suppose to be the kindest of trio and having the guardian see her display that during a crisis when her loved ones were in danger makes her worthy.

Supna's characterization is super weird to me. Every episode shes in she almost kills somebody but its supposed to be tragic for her? And it feels kind of weird that the only brown woman is also a ravenous spider who can't feel love

I think they never really knew what to do with supna so that's why each time she feels weirdly inconsistent.
In fact that's the best way I feel explains about the reboot inconsistent in character and storys.

The girls being turned into toys reminds me of them becoming collectibles in the original show.

I swear the villain in the special is probably the largest ham this reboot series ever had in a villain. That and he was fairly competent as a manipulator, and acted straight away whenever a threat popped up.
I can understand that maybe through his years of developing his own persona, Mojo would have people he looked up to for inspiration but I just can not take how they 'fangirled' him on top of making him a joke. And that's just it; Mojo was ALREADY a joke in the older series through his mannerisms but it was those same mannerisms that made him a competent threat as well seeing as he was one of the few villains that could actually take on the girls head-to-head since he's more or less from the same event that created them....on top of being the one who, ahem, brought all the events together in order to create them.
So, uh, hey....does this mean that if Mojo had stopped the Prof from making the girls he would also erase himself from existence given that even though he did have a hand in knocking the Prof and inspiring him into science, if the girls didn't exist he'd still be a normal chimp so...blessing and curse?
Anyway, back on topic I just can't stand this neutered Mojo because they play it way too hard that he's a 'pathetic man child' when that isn't what he is at all. I mean, an idea like this? If the crew of the show KNEW what they were doing and had done the characters right, wouldn't it have been more of a surprise that Mojo, a competent one of course, found himself SAVED by this Lester because Lester was playing it up that he was inspired by him (Mojo) and not the other way around. I mean, we have to think about how Mojo effected the world in the OG series. I could totally see another villain looking up to him or better yet, I could see another villain playing UP that he idolized Mojo when in reality it's never ending jealousy and he only 'saves' Mojo in order to destroy him and take his place. And a result of this would be the girls being a part of his with the new baddie trying to kill FOUR birds with one stone by ridding himself of both Mojo and the girls. Something like this would have made for a better team up than the whole Jemica thing given how the Jemica arc made now fucking sense and feels like something they just shat out last minuet because they knew they couldn't keep using Jemica as a character who would fool the girls for the first half of the episode only to be revealed as 'oops, I lied!' over and over again.
I don't know what else to say man. I'm glad you've stuck to this as long as you have and you've put more work into the series more than the series itself has, putting up reviews for FOUR YEARS. Gotta give you a LOTTA props on that, dude. It's just sad that it had to turn out like this. I don't think any of us wanted the reboot of the freaking POWERPUFF GIRLS to be like this which is what makes the reboot so terrible; there's no excuse for it to be this way other than the incompetence of the people they put in charge. And how it went out SILENTLY says a lot, especially when you take into account that this is a LEGACY series for CN yet they let it fade away like a bad fart. It was there but then it's gone and the only memories it leaves behind are when people remember how awful it was.
What a way for the Powerpuff Girls to end.
How they treat mojo is a symptom alot of the shows these days suffer from they want the villain to be as wacky as possible its the stupid silly Billy humor that every hipster thinks is so freaking funny.
They gave Mojo Jojo a side kick in one episode of the original show. It was the episodes Prime Mates. The epsiode was cute and the ending was the funniest part.

I mean, the irony in the OG cartoon is that the Amoeba Boys would become threatening UNINTENTIONALLY. In “Geshundfight,” the Amoeba Boys try to be villains by standing on the grass in a “Keep off the grass” zone for a few days, but then catch a virus that makes the entire city horribly sick. In “Divide and Conquer,” they realize they can multiply themselves after splitting an orange.
Lester's knick-knack collection is a reference to Brainiac and his collection of cities.

I thought of a PPG idea. Seducea decides to turn good. Its not a trick she is actually being sincere. She was let out of jail and she tries to start her own hair sallon. The PPG find out about her being let out of prision by watching the news.Buttercup is supicious but Bubbles and Blossom want to give her the benifit of the doubt. *Buttercup:* I don't trust her at all *Blossom:* People can change also I can think of worse villians than Seduca Also If she does something bad the hot line will just go up. *Bubbles:* Yeah forgive and forget *Buttercup:* Still don't trust her. Buttercup keeps spying on her and annoying the crap out of her. She keeps apraring every so often with bad disguises. Seduca opens the refegerator and Buttercup is inside. *Seduca:* What are you doing. Spying on you I know this is a cover for your diabolical plot. *Seduca:* How can you see what I'm doing in the refrigerator. *Buttercup:* X ray vission Seduca: Get lost you little powerpest bra... The whole town eventually annoys her to death and she goes right back to being evil. Her last evil act is tying up the mayor and Ms. Bellum and holding them hostage for a billion dollars. Then the Powerpuff Girls just beat her up. I do like the idea of the plot in Maze Daze but I still hate 2016 Bubbles she will never be the same!! Ok I’m actually 100% on Blossom’s side in Stone Cold Spider. A few years ago Jaiden Animations made a video about different types of stupid people. One of them was the advice ignorer who’s the type of person you give advice to they ignore it and they end up in this huge mess that could’ve been easily avoided if they just listened to you and your advice in the first place. I hate whenever an episode has their characters act like that just like I hate it in real life. It’s why Swarm of the Century and Bats are some of my least favorite MLP episodes and why Super Sweet 6 was my least favorite episode of the reboot before Salamander. As for Blossom not getting that much time to get her heart stone I wish she would’ve gotten her own episode too!! And it could’ve been like a few puzzle trials that Blossom had to solve showing that she’s the brains of the group. Blossom might be my least favorite Powerpuff Girl but I would still love to see an episode like that. Like me being a sucker for fantasy stories I’m also a sucker for escape room/puzzle solving episodes or shows. It’s why The Last Game of Summer is one of my favorite Craig Of The Creek episodes and why Escape the Night is my favorite UA-cam original series. This special really did Blossom dirty and thats coming from someone who hates Blossom in the original series.

icecream hero pretty short but I think a few more details could be added like a few more jokes. Maybe the reason Sedusa was annoyed was because so many guys were ogling her and their SOs could be like “STALP STEALING MY MAAAAaaaans!!!!!!” That has potential for some humor.

Have to agree this special was decent.
The problems with it stem from the usual problems that alot of the bad episodes have the writing.
You can tell that each of the segments there were different writers so it wasnt consistent like why the girls were so cocky in the beginning but that gets forgotten about.

Honestly, putting how the reboot handles the villians from the og series aside....
There are some intriguing villains or at least, villian ideas, in this show.
If this show was better written and a lot more like the og, I could see villains like Lester, or jemora, the fashionistas, the gnat , and sillico be really cool new antagonists.
Even the bad villains they have like pack rat or allegro could be interesting if the team put real good effort into making them fun antagonists and less...how they are.
Some of the ideas the show has aren't inherently bad, but its the execution holding them back in a lot of places.
If the show does get another animated reboot in the future, because at this point it could happen, if it has a better team behind it I'd like to see what they'd do if they took some of the reboots ideas and properly fleshed them out alongside the best aspects of the OG.
It doesn't need to happen, but it'd be intriguing to see a team take some of the better ideas of this reboot and make stories with them that are as good as the original.
To be fair to blossom on giving up her locket, if she refused to do it, they couldnt get the heartstone, and if they dont get the heartstone, townsville is doomed

45:55-50:57 I can see if the pizza guy was in there for 2 Hours or 2 Days. But he's managed to stay alive in a uncharted temple for 2 years without any water or other food besides that pizza. Lester reminds me of brainiac but they’re both different. Both are collectors of worlds, cities, and national monuments, but the difference between them is Lester having magic and Brainiac is an alien who is a smart one I might add and he basically stays in his ship since everything outside to him either poisons or kill him.
I will argue that their attempt for Bubbles was that they were trying to make it a trial with her using her sister's talents and her own. Breaking down the wall with strength(buttercup), solving the riddle(blossom), and playing around like a kitty cat then hugging a snake(bubbles). It just could of been execuated or conveyed better.
Also while I am unsure if blossom needed a whole episode for her segment(seeing I think their heart hunt just take half the episode) I do think they could of extended her heart quest a lil bit longer.
I THINK the idea of that scene in sonic adventure 2 was that it took shadow some time to get into the building rouge was in (I mean, there's not a single man made structure in sight at the end of white jungle, he probably had a ways to go). If I'm right, it simply means they poorly portrayed the passage of time, which wouldn't surprise me with that game tbh.
I’m watching Batman the animated series with my sister for the first time. I saw the timer go down and then in the next shot, IT WAS BACK UP AGAIN. I also like to count with the timer to make sure it’s correct just for fun.

The writers of the reboot have turned Mojo Jojo into a total joke. Sadly, I don’t mean that in a good way.
In the OG cartoon and 2002 movie, Mojo Jojo was way too arrogant and self-centered to ever fanboy worship other villains, and that made him both hilarious and scary at different points. He was so absurdly self-confident. HE was the one who formed the Beat-Alls. He went insane, then started his repetitive speech pattern when his primate army in the movie revolted against him with their own plans to take over the world. In “Forced Kin,” he took down an alien invader by beating him up with a baguette because he went mad with jealousy over the fact that said evil alien invader was destroying Townsville in all the ways he always wanted to, and then forced him to declare that he was “the most evil.”
On a few rare occasions, as much as he hated the girls and wanted to destroy them, he displayed small hints of a sibling rivalry/begrudging affection for the girls, and the girls actually trusted him to honor their deals with them. He committed crimes for them and got thrown in jail by them a bunch of times when they got hooked on getting rewarded candy from the Mayor for stopping crime, but then he pettily stole it away from them because he knew they loved it and wanted to make them upset. The girls actually trust Mojo not to break his deal and kill them all by letting him lock the three of them up, and beating up Professor in a one on one fight trying to save them from Mojo in “PowerProf.,”so they could convince their dad to stop fighting crime with them without having to hurt his feelings by telling him that they no longer wanted to fight crime with him because he was embarrassing them by doting on them, overprotecting them, and giving them unnecessary advice. Mojo actually lets the Professor beat him up in “Powerprof.” to save the girls, and doesn’t try to kill him or the girls, even though he had every opportunity to do so. In “Forced Kin,” the girls go to Mojo to try to stop a common enemy because they trust him to fight the evil alien overlord. In “Child Fearing,” Mojo orders the girls to help him take over the world as their court appointed babysitter, then they refuse, and torture him by being brats for the rest of the night in response. In “The PowerPuff Girls Rule The World,” Mojo actually does win the key to rule the world, then actually becomes a good ruler promoting world peace and happiness in a shocking twist of events, but then he gets bored with the peace and happiness, so he decides to go back to being evil again.

Even the abridged series made fun of that arbitrary time limit the show had for that fight.

4:00 wow. The last appearance of the amoeba boys in the entire reboot. They were the main villains in the season one episode viral spiral and were briefly mentioned in Mojo the great and they are seen in this episode in a montage for two seconds. The sad part is That is way better than a bunch of other OG power puff girl villains in the reboot. Well they only appeared in to episodes and and one of them they were seen for two seconds in a montage they were the main villains in Viral spiral. Look at fuzzy Lumpkins for example. Well he did appear in more episodes than the amoeba boys he never did anything and never got an episode to himself. He only talked in to episodes in the reboot and one of them doesn’t even count because it was a different dimension version of him. If you got all of the moments together that he talked in the reboot it would be probably be less than 30 seconds. Every other time he appeared it was for A quick non-speaking cameo like in this episode. Another example would be the rowdy Ruff boys who made a 10 second non-speaking cameo in total eclipse of the kart and that’s all they get in the entire reboot
With how many inconsistencies there are, I might not be able to make a case for this being worse than Power of 4, but I personally think this is worse.

It's kind of a shame this entire special turned out boring. There's actually potential for something here, but the theme of this entire show is wasted potential.
Also Lester is giving me "The Red Guy" vibes from cow and chicken and I have no idea why...
Granted be him and... well HIM were based of the same red skin, point tail, horn and pitchfork villian as inspiration. But still...
I'm not gonna lie I love chaotic villains like the one here. Tbh though I don't care for the reboot (but love the vids), I actually really like the villain of this special. From his design all the way to his just wanna watch the world burn attitude with the whole stealing important stuff for kicks.
The only show i have ever seen handle the time right was Archer. The bomb was counting down in real time and when they messed up the bomb and the countdown speed was 4x, even that was right. It was impressive and yet sad because shows shouldn't be impressive for getting something basic as countdowns correct.
