No matter how much flight attendants get paid, it will still have a better wage then most of the jobs I had in Louisiana😭 so I’m looking forward to it next year!
Ofcourse and let’s not forget the benefits they have. Free flights , how many times me and my family wanted to go somewhere but the tickets were to expensive.
Thank you so much for this video. As a new flight attendant for your same airline, who is currently waiting on her training dates, I have been researching and trying to find the truth about FA. Tired of hearing all the negative broke stories. ❤
lol…. That’s literally the inspiration for this video!☺️ Obviously several factors may impact your money situation(like commuting) but it’s not always all bad. Glad you found the content useful, thank you!😊
So excited to find you! Your energy is amazing! I got my CJO recently and I start training in April/May. Can't wait to begin this journey and build followers in this space!
Just got my invite for F2F with Delta- I am beyond excited! How long in between your F2F and your training class. I have just turned down a CJO with another airline because the training for that airline is the same week as my F2F with Delta and I am willing to risk it. Keep your fingers crossed for me! 🤞
Honestly it varies(some had shorter time others had to wait longer) and everyone’s timeline differs and dependent on several factors that you may or may not have control over. To avoid placing all your eggs in 1 basket, are you able to request for another training date with this airline?(just to have it as backup). Congratulations 🎉 on getting your invitation! Go get that CJO!🙌✌️
I appreciate you for breaking the pay down.. This just makes me more excited to join the Airline Industry. I currently know a UA-camr who's in your company as well.. Great video!
I just got hired with a regional airline. I heard my airline now pays for boarding as well and i would say the pay for regional (my airline) is pretty good hourly
@@mynextlocation thank you. I'm excited and nervous. Also I would say a lot of people become flight attendants for the perks, not so for the pay. As the pay is a plus but the perks are AMAZING!!

Hello, loved the vid! This has probably explained pay the best out of any video ive seen so thank you! Me and my gf have our group interview with AA on Wednesday! I was curious though if you had any tips for what to wear as a male. I have watched serveral videos but they all taliored more towards women so any advice you couod give me would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!🙏 Congratulations on getting invited👏👏👏👏. Definitely enjoy the process! For dress-code, I’m not sure if AA sends you an email with expectations like my airline but definitely lean towards dark colors like black, navy blue or even gray with white combo. A suit will work perfectly, beard neatly trimmed and hair pulled back if short and neatly trimmed if short. Hope this helps ☺️
Love your energy and appreciate this video :) Does 🔺pay for hotel layovers? As for the crash pad, I didn't know it existed ....I thought all layovers were hotel stays. Do flight attendants make more money if they are bilingual? Also, how many hours per day are you allowed to work?
@@mynextlocation yes! She was very nice and understanding, I was actually surprised when they said I can just email back… feels a lot easier than I was expecting. Thanks for all your tips/ advice!
Working more flights means more money and doesn’t have any correlation with becoming more senior. Seniority change is impacted by hiring and people leaving the company or department.
Everyone based @ LAX flies 140 hours min. Because majority of them have million dollar residences on the ocean .especially living near a beach or in San Diego. Their mortgages are 8K per month. They have to.
Thank you or this vlog. I have a question. Did you know that SEA would be offered as a base before you went to training, or was it just a happy coincidence that you were able to be based where you lived?
Thank you for supporting the channel! Yes I knew before going for training because with the airline I applied to did the base selection process prior to training.
@@mynextlocation can i ask which airline that is? if not i understand! i just already have a house that my son& i live in, i always wanted to try an be a FA, but i would not want to finish training just be told o have to be based across the country or something, i would really only want to be based where i live, until your comment i didn’t think that was really a thing!
It was with Delta but ultimately it’s also dependent on which bases are open during the hiring period. But at least you would know prior to training which is good enough!

So the key to it all is work, work work. Does workingng extra flights help your seniority to be reached quicker than someone who works minimal hours?
Working more flights means more money and doesn’t have any correlation with becoming more senior. Seniority change is impacted by hiring and people leaving the company or department.
