Let’s say YOU are number 3100 in system seniority out if the 28000 in the system. And, you decide you want to transfer to JFK and there are a good number of FAs based there with lower seniority, so you definitely are senior to all of them. BUT, JFK has full. Am I correct in thinking that - even though you are senior to say 500 people in JFK - you CANNOT bump into JFK until an opening occurs or the base enlarges, and then only can you get the transfer if you have the seniority over all those who apply? Please educate your friend. ❤️😊 Herman

Congratulations! & Merry Christmas Eve. Yes, I am supporting the operation. Trip 23-24 and 26-28 & Jan 1-6. and I just received the email that they will allow us to work on our paid days offf to support the operation. But I think I will relax on my 3 days off as my January schedule is yucky. unfortunately I did not see a big base transfer at the mothership. in fact my percent of base seniority became worse. Hopefully some new hires can come this way soon. Glad you made it and looking forward to more stories.
