Bushing a Mosin Nagant 9130 Bolt

If I ever build a rifle on a Mosin Nagant one of the first things I do is Bush the Bolt. Once bushed you can run modern ammo and PSI levels. Often you cannot reach even the SAMI spec PSI with Mosin because the firing pin hole is so oversized. This procedure corrects that.

Im the customer that owns the bolt you see in the video, i had the same work done on a savage axis. Great craftsmanship worth the money I highly recommend. If you own a savage get the bolt lift kit , makes your bolt lift smooth and with less effort. Thxs again B.C.

Could you use an ER32 collet to hold the firing pin and not have to worry with centering it in the 3 jaw, or is it worth the time to change the D1 chucks out to do that?

How do you measure the force of the spring?

I have a fixture I put the firing pin in and compress it a mused amount in the mill.
