Repairing HAMEG HM203-6 - Part 3 - Yet further diagnosis

In this video I repair the broken intensity pot knob and check that it actually works.
With the case off, you are exposed to voltages greater than 1000V (1900V), so please be careful if you doing this yourself.

I followed with great interest your repair of this Hameg HM203 scope
Recently I got hold of 3 of them 2, 203-6 and 1, 203-7.
Both the 6's seem to be ok but the -7 had no trace, so I followed your diagnosis to the latter, it led me to a o/c intensity pot 470k and also a broken lead in the ribbon cable connecting the IF board I replaced the bot with a pair of 220k resistors with the centre tap for the slider …problem fixed.
The scope has also suffered with broken spindles, but that's no problem I can make a rubber mold and cast some, but where can you find 470k pots (470KA H20 A2)
