Staying at the real Little House on the Prairie in De Smet South Dakota

Follow along - we are staying at the real Little House on the Prairie in De Smet South Dakota! My 8 year old self is geeking out at this stop! I was the little girl running around in a prairie dress and Laura braids in the 80's so when I found out we could take our RV and visit the real life Little House I was beyond excited! We learned a ton, this was a homeschool roadschool win! Plus tons of hands on activities, we highly recommend!

Near the end of 2017 we sold our house, two vehicles and almost everything we owned to travel around the US as a full time RV family in our fifth wheel RV with 4 of our 5 kids and 2 crazy dogs. We share our Life In Motion journey as we seek adventure, a more simple life, less stuff and more happiness.
