Just purchased a set of 2857518 for my leveled 2017 2500 hd. No scrubbing lock to
Lock. 35 inch tire.
I love this tire and I use them on my everyday driver (285/75/R18) but your fuel mileage will suffer.I don't care what he said. Mine went down about 4 mpg. So, he's full of it about that. Otherwise great tire.
Thanks for the real-world update!
Are these good highway tires
No the best highway tires, but for an A/T, they're on the better side. A touch more noise than stock, and maybe a touch more fuel economy. But I'd argue worth it for the winter/off-road performance upgrades. Cheers.
My set of Recons performed very well off road and in water and snow. However horrible tire and noisy at 50 mph to 53 mph. I could deal with that. This tire is so significantly bad I had to have a set removed after just 475 miles. Ram 2500 HD Cummins was all over the road. I have to classify this tire as DANGEROUS. After a 302 mile stretch of driving I parked the vehicle until I could have my tire pro change back to BFG All Terrain A/T which was my previous tire on the same truck. All problems resolved not that the set has been replaced. I implore people to reconsider if looking at purchasing this tire. This sounds like a paid advertisement from Nitto/Toyo. Unless you have a warranty on your tires I recommend staying far away from this tire.
Would you go with these or the KO2’s on you’re own truck
These for mostly street, K02s for a truck that sees more dirt/mud/snow.
What's the min lift to fit the 34" (285/55/22)? Thx
Looks great. What size was the tire? I have identical truck
285-55R20. At the time we did the review, NITTO didn't have the OEM spec 275s, but the 285s worked well too.
What tire size and was it a e rated or sl?
Has the rear been lowered and is there a leveling kit on the truck?
Hi, Bob, I'm pretty sure this truck was 100% stock except for the NITTO tires. cheers.
Do these tires pull to the right like the Toyo Open Country M/T?
We didn't experience any directional pulling.

Thank you. I will be buying a set of these in 37 inch
I experienced extreme pull to the left during rapid stops. My set of Recons performed very well off road and in water and snow. However this is a terrible tire and noisy at 50 mph to 53 mph. I could deal with the noise but but this tire is so significantly bad I had to have a set removed after just 475 miles. Ram 2500 HD Cummins was all over the road. I have to classify this tire as DANGEROUS. After a 302 mile stretch of driving I parked the vehicle until I could have my tire pro change back to BFG All Terrain A/T which was my previous tire on the same truck. @@internetbrandsautogroup3826 Unbelievable. Worst tire I have ever purchased in 40 years of buying tires. The set I just had removed yanked hard to the left during rapid braking.
