- Tucker from MACkiteboarding introduces the AFS Whitebird Downwind Foil Board and the AFS Wing Board, highlighting their features and the benefits of wing foiling and wing surfing. He starts with a brief introduction, mentioning the AFS Whitebird 82, a newly released board with larger sizes, aimed at enhancing stability and ease of use for beginners.
Key points discussed include:
1. AFS Brand Introduction: AFS stands for Alien Foiling System, a French brand known for its high-quality production directly from its own factory, ensuring better prices and higher quality.
2. Product Range: AFS offers a full range of products, including foils, wings, and boards, all made from 100% carbon, providing competitive options for various budgets.
3. Whitebird Downwind Foil Board: The new larger sizes (82, 78, and 58) are designed to be more accessible for beginners, featuring higher volume and length for better stability and ease in downwind paddling and light wind winging.
4. Design and Features: The Whitebird boards have a relaxed entry rocker, extra-long foil boxes, a scooped deck for better stability, and a dome shape to shed water efficiently.
5. Versatility: The boards are suitable for downwind foiling and light wind winging, with specific models catering to different skill levels and riding styles.
Tucker also highlights the AFS wing range, particularly the D-Light wing, which offers good value, lightweight design, and comfortable handles.

I have the whitebird 6’8” 115 liter. I am 200lbs. I can stand and paddle it. Not quite to paddle up on foil and only in a calm area but amazingly stable. Also it’s really a nice wing board.
For sure, I think 115L is about as small as I could paddle in flat water as well but the larger volumes are nice for choppy conditions. -Tucker
@@MACkiteboardingis the 6’8” is 23” wide, the 7’8” is 22” wide, and 8’2” 23” wide again? Weird that the shape gets longer BUT narrower in there for the 7’8” size?
You guys do have the best prices, and great customer service!!
Thanks! We do our best ;)
Pure 700 is great for kiting 😉 !
Oh yeah, I bet that'd be 🔥
I can hear you
Thank you for sharing the stoke, my friend. 🤙🏽 Good winds! -Aaron
Finally some background peaceful chicken sound 🥳😁
I'll need to record some special chicken/rooster noises just for you so you don't need to search them out in videos. LOL - Tucker
@@MACkiteboardingLOL
Yes so I can have it in my earpods when I'm riding waves 😜
What is the differende between the whitebird and blackbird
Color.... Just kidding Jocelyn :) The blackbird is a different shape and dims with a lighter construction. Hence, it's higher price. -Tucker
@@MACkiteboardingthe WhiteBird looks more stable, and slightly slower, for a given size?
So what’s the weight like?
Mid-weight as compared to other downwind boards of similar size.
