What do you enjoy most about the area you live in? I believe feeling happy with where we live is so important to our mental health and peace of mind. We're lucky to have many green havens around us in London. Residential neighbourhoods tucked away from the city can be quiet and peaceful. Wherever you are and live, I hope you are somewhere lovely that brings you peace of mind and joy 💛🥰!
I admire your attention to detail...the calm and precise way you do everything. The editing on your vlogs is spectacular.......your a high functional perfectionist........your very blessed indeed...thankyou for sharing❤❤❤❤
Well done you for handling London with wisdom! It's so easy to get swept up in the 'More, more more!' of London life. It's also easy to idealise country life, but I came to your blog because I'm fed up with watching people walking in the Highlands or mountains. Life in the country can be hard work and it can actually be really boring! Being content wherever you are is a great skill. If you love London's greenery, though, try Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park (I used to ride on both of those!)
Thank you for your message 🧡🙇♀️! I used to live around Wimbledon, so I wholeheartedly agree that Richmond and Wimbledon common are lovely green havens 😊. Unfortunately they are a little far from me now for a daily walk. Thank you for watching 🧡
Wait, hold on, Mona Lisa with a fat orange tabby? Shut the front door. I love it. And also, I don't think it's silly to love your balcony gardening, it's therapeutic, as you know (and addictive...). 🙂
Yes it was a great found on Etsy! Here is the link to the Etsy shop if you are interested 😄: www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1119878954/mona-lisa-and-cat-prints-original-oil Thank you for watching 🌼🧡!!
The best place in the small town I live in is the coast. I don't know why, but whenever I feel anxious, worried, overwhelmed or stressed, I take a walk there and it immediately changes my mood. It's nice and refreshing. I have found that I need to live in a place where I can see the ocean or some kind of place with water to feel calm. I love your videos, they are amazing and make me think about so many things. Since I started watching them, I appreciate my little city a little more, so thank you so much. Hugs from Andalusia
Hi Alfredo, thank you for your message 🧡. I'm so glad to hear that the videos help you enjoy your surroundings a little more! It's so important to enjoy where we live. Living by the coast sounds marvellous! I find the sea so soothing and it helps me reflect with its constant back-and-forth 😊 . Unfortunately I only get to see it on trips away nowadays!
I smiled when you smelled the books. I am also a physical book lover. I can't hold back myself whenever i see books.. 😅😅 i soooo love it. Books are ❤ my stress reliever
I've lived in London over for 3 years and... I realised that I can't live in this city without parks... omg, Kyung-Sook Shin is also my fav writer!! I hope you like that book :)
Thanks so much for watching and your comment 💛! Agreed the parks bring so much to the city. I haven't read any previous work from this author but looking forward to it. It attracted my eye at the bookstore 😊!
Ahh... Cats, books, tea, gardening and woodland walks. Such loveliness! Your home is so pretty. My chronic illness is flaring right now, leaving me feeling a bit tired and low, but this truly cheered me up. I'm looking forward to seeing my lavender and rosemary (hopefully) grow this summer. Have a wonderful weekend and give Momo and Coco kisses for me.😽😽🌼💞
Thank you for being back for another video 🫶❤️! I'm sorry to hear about your health, I hope you feel better very soon 🍵. Lavender and rosemary bring great scents throughout the summer, a great choice 😊
This is such a lovely, relaxing video! I live in Brooklyn and Brooklyn is such an ideal place to live! We’re in NY after all but it’s not too busy like Manhattan. I enjoy my neighborhood which has many small independent shops, restaurants, cafes, and many parks😊
Hi there, thank you for watching yet another video 🧡! I have great memories of Brooklyn, I stayed in Williamsburg during my trip to NYC. I loved the atmosphere and I can see why you find it a pleasant place to live 😊
Thanks for sharing this! I think many of us believe that you must leave the city and live in the woods to lead an authentic life. I know i've felt the struggle many times, but then I also think about all the amazing things a big city has to offer, from bookshops, to theatres, to music events, to many different types of food (especially if you have specific dietary requirements). This was really relatable to me ❤
Hiya, thank you for watching and your comment 🌼🧡! I'm glad you found the video relatable, it's a topic I've debated on a few times especially after the pandemic. I think as long as we can find meaning around us, then we can build an authentic life wherever we are 😊
your video is so relaxing, I really like to see your videos which are so relaxing, london is a magnificent city I have already been there several times and I too like to walk in the many parks that this city has to offer. the bookstore where you bought your books looks great as a bookseller, calm, soothing
I too like to smell the smell of a new book, like you too, I like it so much when I buy a new book, sit on the sofa and drink a good herbal tea and read my new book quietly, these are part of my moments of relaxation. .
@@quiet_tales you re welcome , yes we have the same ritual of smelling the smell of the new book , i find that smelling the smell of a new book is just magical Since I started watching your videos, I too have applied to my life to settle down, to give myself moments where I sit quietly with a good book and enjoy, to tell you not long ago I I made a real hot chocolate where I took the time to melt the chocolate in a saucepan and to appreciate and smell the good smell of the chocolate that melted in the saucepan and then I sat on the sofa and tasted my hot chocolate reading a good book and throwing myself so well, and spanking it I thought back to your videos where you spanked the same, and I told myself that I threw myself into following you and seeing your videos which now also makes me want to do like you to take advantage of this allow moments to oneself, because before I never did that, and now I realize that it is important to have these moments where we think of ourselves or where we relax and take the time to appreciate life and those little things. thank you
I loved living in London, so I was thrilled to find your video suggested in my feed. These days, I live in the heart of Philadelphia, another large city, and find joy in the slower pace too. Like you, I enjoy my outdoor space, plants, pet (dog), food, and books. Writing also feeds my soul. Like you, I've contemplated leaving the city for the suburbs, but I don't know if I'd be happy. I dream of a lovely English village, but that won't happen. Anyway, lovely home - thank you for sharing! :)
found your video recently and watch all of your videos. Really enjoy it so much. Very calm, slowing living, love to read, love coffee, two cute cats which very similar to my lifestyle. keep going.
I like in Minneapolis and feel like the city is a great place for slow living. It has many great parks (i believe the city won an award for the best park system in the United States) and lakes so its easy to get into nature. Theres big city activities such as museums, restaurants, stores and bars so its a city where you can escape into nature but experience city living in a balanced way.
Thank you for sharing, I love watching your videos I kind of love living in Paris's suburbs because there is less people, but I kind of miss the grass and the birds. One thing that change my life is having a balcony in quiet street. I love reading and just be here and do nothing.
Such a beautiful and relaxing video to watch. It was also a great reminder that you can still have a slow/quiet life in the city. While I've only ever lived in the suburbs myself (of smaller cities) we are about to move to an apartment to a much busier suburb and I've been concerned about the noisiness and the fact we're moving away from that countryside ideal, so this was a great reminder to focus on what living there will offer me (being able to walk to shop, close to the ocean and lovely walks by the harbour). I guess like with many things, it's all about compromise and then focussing on the good things.
Hello!! I'm a new subscriber. Glad I came across your channel!! We have a lot in common it seems. I love cats (I have many lol), books, & definitely food!! I try to live a slow simple life as much as I can. I live in a small town in East TN. We have about 5 or 6,000 people in our little town. I love where I live because no matter where I look I see mountains. Our town is in a valley & we have a river that runs through it. Very beautiful. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!! Your kitties are so beautiful ❤️😊
Hi Tammy, thank you for your lovely comment and warm welcome here 🧡! What you describe sounds amazing, the idea of seeing mountains everywhere around is very soothing 😌⛰️
You make everything look so restfull, i try....lol. i love your balcony, mine is just pale grey concrete and has lots of mucky puddles, and worst of all, its not separate from neighbours so i get no privacy 😢. I loved how Momo had a sniff of the book after you 😻 i thought his head would get stuck inside the snack jar, so funny 😹😹. Thankyou for sharing.
So wonderful. I would like to see more of the same. I travel to London from Oregon every year to enjoy everything it has to offer, sometimes for months. You are so lucky. It has been my dream to live there so long but the UK is very strict about citizenship.

Hello Katrin 🌻 ! Thank you for your comment 🧡. I'm so glad the video sparked a little more joy for your local park and city. I hope you will get sunnier days to enjoy the park next time ☂️
Get away from the city and look about going to the north!! So much more beaut there. X
This is so lovely. I lived opposite the cemetery park for 8 years. Is that where the woodland footage is? Such happy memories of Victoria park too
Thank you! I actually haven't heard of the cemetery park and just looked it up now. It looks great for walks too 😀
Hi dear friend
Thank you for your efforts in making wonderful and beautiful videos🎉🌈
The atmosphere of your videos is very natural and relaxing🏞️❤
🙂And you are calm, kind and organized, your vlogs convey positive energy and effort and growth as well as lovely, please keep it up dear friend🌻You should be proud
💐🌺 Today I met your beautiful channel and became a member of it
I also just started producing content, it's a sweet job 😍
I wish you much success and pride.
Good time my dear ❤🎉😊
Ooh, I also fell in love with Libreria when I stumbled upon it. Too bad it’s a bit far from my hood these days. Do you know any French-focused bookstores in the city? Want to pick up reading in French again :)
I think there is one in South Kensington nearby the French embassy ☺️!

Hi there - thank your for your message! Wishing you the best for your channel, I know how difficult the early days can feel like 🫶
We are going to try your sushi bowl 😊. I hope I got the recipe right. Is the red sauce sriracha?
Hi there ☺️🌼! You can find the recipe here www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/salmon_poke_bowls_33855 . I highly recommend it, it’s delicious :)
Thank you so much! This is what it returned when I typed the ingredients in the search bar, salmon poke bowls, but the sauce was never exactly like yours. I've tried your pasta from "Self-care routine on a cold day" and it turned out so delicious that I saved the video and will cook it with modifications depending on the season. I fell in love with the chai too and make it often. I appreciate your content and I like to watch you videos on a larger screen like my laptop because of the little details.
Why do you not use your library instead of buying books?
What farmers market is that? Thanks
Hi, you can find your nearest farmer market in London on this website www.lfm.org.uk/ !
It's Victoria park on a Sunday
Your cats don't bite your plants? If so, how do you cope ?
Hello, they only bite the ones that aren't toxic to them. I leave them to it and learnt to accept some plants won't make it 😅. Often they get bored after a nibble or two anyway :). I also distract them with cat grass or potted catnip in the summer.
❤❤
