I just stumbled upon your channel. I love Alone. I want to say I’m so happy how you guys interact with little Wesley. He’s so cute! You make it so he’s a part of every adventure. I’m looking forward to watching all your adventures.
Awesome LOVIES you guys work very hard thanks for sharing. The scenery is beautiful. Your little one is so precious. GOD BLESS keep safe love from New Zealand.
I've been watching you guys so much, I feel like family! Thank you for taking me along on your adventures! I really look forward to your next videos...always. Stay safe, take care, and God bless two wonderful parents, who just so happen to be adventurers!!
I am so inspired to see a family vacation like this! To see you both taking on an adventure like this and giving Wesley the opportunity to experience it with you warms my heart!
Love seeing Wesley! Tori feeding him cracks me up reminds me if when l had a 3 year old and feeding them.......despite Wesley's disability...just a 3 year old getting fed by mom! A happy boy!
Wes has the top-knot going like dad ! cool ! Fun adventures, love tuning into you guys. Wish i could find a gal like Tori, you're a lucky man Jim. Super parents ! Always keep safe you guys
The scenery is so beautiful. So interesting to see and learn about the hot tent. Amazing you are able to do this with your son. Please more information about the hot tent, sleeping area, how you cooked meals, how you got wood/ fuel. Thank you for sharing with us. So beautiful.
Crazy but this made me make my decision to go with my girl to Missouri I feel like my life will be like your guys trip beautiful exciting not knowing what to expect But having the best time of your life’s and yes I will put a ring on her finger
Nice wilderness camp guys. Tell the owner to put a pool noodle on that 2x4 at the entrance so people won't get knocked out, like Jim.... I put a noodle on my bulkhead entrance to my basement because I kept wacking my head on the cross beam when I entered, now I don't see stars anymore and I swear less... Lol Sam from NE USA Quincy, MA.
You know what you guys I just love to watch your videos . when I have a shifty day I turn your videos and watch and they make me feel good. So thanks so much for all your hard work
The camping trip looks amazing. Wesley sounds very contented with the sounds he's making. I hope you get to see the Northern Lights! I'm really enjoying this whole trip, it's such an incredible experience!
Jim, you are hilarious! This is one of the best videos you’ve done! Loved the music, scenery, humor, your family. I can not wait to watch the next video!!!
Some people book a five star accommodation, the Bairds drive a snowmobile out into the Yukon wilderness and build their own. I missed how the canvass you brought fit perfectly.
Right!? You guys are blessed there with such landscapes so close to home. Not as deep in as my previous adventures in the Yukon like my Hess River trip but still amazing.
@@JimBairdAdventurer Yes, We are the lucky ones. I really enjoy all your work and Hess River trip got me hooked to your adventures!! Please, keep up great work and come to Yukon more often!!!
Well what a adventure, mom and dad are working hard and Wesly seem to enjoy is vacation in the Yukon wilderness. You are definitely the good old time family type and it is fun to watch you living this dream period in the modern time of 21th century. Tuff but so rewarded when you have to work a «little bit» more to survive in this so beautiful country of ours. Thank's for the trip in the past, minus the skidoo ah! Next time think about a B7 for that kind a country Jim.
I think a set of snowshoes is a must in the back country for getting out of snowmobile situations. I’ve been buried trapping with heavy loads. and panked a trail in front of the sled to recover the trail. Your trip is awesome. What great weather. What a nice tent experience. I always want steak after watching you guys and Ted.!
Wow, existing tent frame was perfect size for you canvas tent, with plent of wood and food be a good spot to hang out during a storm, hopfully your stove pipe was tied good to something
I love the winter videos in summer. It’s making me miss winter already. It’s been so hot here in utah 100f so 36c this last week. 90f 36c today. It’s miserable i hate the heat. And they say we are in a drought.
Very nice set up, was wondering what you folks were going to do , awesome that the hot tent fit right over that frame, so cool. being out in the wilderness in Alaska in a hot tent, nice change from your isolation cabin , however it looked cozy as well. what a peaceful place love it , Nice views as well. lovin this
At first I found it odd to have a winter video during early summer, but then when it hit 41 with the humidex in Montreal, I was hoping for the next instalment. Unfortunately it's only 21 today, but I enjoyed the video anyway. I hope you don't take for granted how blessed you are to be able to see and experience what you're doing. It's heartbreakingly beautiful. Nice you show your faults too, like the difficulties with the snowmobile. Some honestly and integrity.
Good Friday Jim, Tori and little guy Wesley! This video is good to see it hot summer day. It has cooling effect. I was wondering, it you guys ever thought about getting a walker for little guy Wesley. I put my son in a walker when he was three and half months old. In the beginning he was too small and his feet could not reached the apartment floor. But, by five months his feet can reach the floor and he used the walker to get around the whole apartment. You just have to be extra careful if you have a basement and the stairs.
Cool. I'm going to be driving from washington through Yukon. I plan on bringing a tent and just pulling my car off the side of the road and camping out instead of getting hotels. Should be fun. Nice vid
Je rectifie pour la tente .(j’ai quel que vidéos traduites en français je me régale car mon anglais est nul) merci encore pour ses beaux paysages canadien
Ya, I brought my snowtrekker but this is the owner of Sky High’s tent. The frame was built specifically for this canvas to fit over it so I borrowed his as mine wouldn’t have worked on that frame.
Another awesome vid. Funny seeing snow and cold weather. Yesterday checked out northern Manitoba weather as was curious to see what you and Ted are currently up against. 37C (over 40 with humidex). Considering that the average daytime temps for this time of year is about 17 or 18C there, can't imagine you two were ready for that. [17C = 62F, 40C = 104F, for all you weirdos on the fartsintights scale :p]
I was just wondering if Tori would ever try out for Alone? She is one tough lady. You have a wonderful family. Thanks for sharing your adventures with this couch potato!
Ohhh, pushing it eating broccoli or cauliflower in a hot tent with an open flame woodstove guys.. 😆 Nice setup really and I'm sure for the right season and/or folks that need a hunt, etc. this looks like a cool deal maybe. Nice Airbnb :) glad you took us out to see the valley and really enjoyed seeing the views and the pole tents. Bet there's some fishing nearby also eh? ☮️ Wheelchair John in Idaho USA 😎
I’m thinking of getting a snow sled for my wife and I to explore the backcountry. What size is the one you’re using? Seems to be more than enough power.
Tori is a Kindling Making, Fire Starting Rock Star!
She is! Haha, thanks a lot
Great hot tent frames. Wood floor even. Great set up.

I think that’s true and I actually used a snowshoe ton build a quinzee shelter. I never put them on but had them in the skimmer
@@JimBairdAdventurer yah I preferred not to wear them as a rule also but made sure they were there.

I will as I should be more inclusive to our French speaking Canadians.
Try finishing your steak with butter after you pull it off just let it melt over it and rub it around as it cools MMM...
Yum!
I enjoyed this episode a lot. Have a question though. Did Skyhigh Wilderness Ranch supply you with the canvas tent?
