Fuelx will not give it more speed but it will clean up the choppiness of the bike and run smoother. If you want more speed then you want powertronic ecu and put it to race++ setting which is map #2.
Nice install video. I'm not familiar with the 2021 airbox but I'm assuming it's the same as the rest of the gen2's. You might want to check the air flow because I suspect you are running unfiltered air straight into the engine with that lid mod - inlet snorkel runs into the bottom of the airbox then up through the filter and past the airbox lid into the engine - be interesting to know if they changed the routing again - pre 17 it ran from the lid then through the filter.
cool vid! just ordered lite one for my new ktm 390 adventure. I live in Istanbul (crowded city) and low revs at low gears are important to me. Right now it feels like bike wants to cough or something if you know what I mean. BTW I had installed a slip on last week, maybe it will help with that also, doesn't have complaints tho. I'm not really that deep into modding, so you think Fuelx Lite and KTM quickshifter will be enough for me?
The connectors you repluged, are those the injector connectors? I need to know, because I want to install a quickshifter :) And is the second hole at 5:33 a good chassis ground? Would be a big help, thank you!
Thanks for the video i have a question,in my bike i have the same like your and i have akrapovic slip on air filter lid and cat delete map 9 wil be good? Thanks
Awesome video sir. I own ktm adventure 390 . I am planning for Powertronics ecu with map set to 11000rpm + fuel x pro + Air filter + ngk spark plug (if necessary) + Resonator(black box) or chamber delete without removing catalytic converter + After market exhaust. Will it still damage engine. If yes will it be drastic or slowly it will effect the long life of engine. If it reduces 10k kms of life it is OK for me. If it's drastic on engine life please let me know. I need your guidance 🙏
Sorry for the delay. Dyno sheets have shown that you start to lose power after 9,800rpm so it’s not necessarily to rev to 11k. As long as the fuelx is delivering the correct amount of fuel you will be good.
It will for sure have a noticeable difference. I’m sure a dyno tune will help though. 90% of people who purchase this don’t do that as it’s safe from powertronic.
Any advice on selecting maps? I’m not familiar with the tuning but I’d like to become familiar in selecting the best option for my bike. I bought the pro after watching this.
I’d assume probably around 6 would be a good setting. I know for a slip on with airbox lid they reccomend 8. For full system with airbox lid they suggest 9-10
@@burnoutbobby awesome, where does it tell you the “ recommendation “ per mods on the bike? Also I’m subbing bc I appreciate the video and the interaction!
I have a 2019 bs4 duke 200. Will adding fuelx lite , iridium spark plug and a free flow air filter and keeping everything stock increase performance in any way?
Hey mate. Thank you for the explanation. I have the same bike with an Full system Austin Racing exhaust de-cat. Do i need to remap the bike; Does Fuel X Pro do the job so i will not get an ECU; Thanks
The fuelx should fix be good for you. You will have to select through the maps and see what one feels best for you. I’d start at map 8. Or if you go with the fuelx lite that one autotunes it on the fly. So you. Don’t have to go through settings on what feels best. I’ve never personally tried the lite yet though.
@@burnoutbobby Thanks for the advice appreciate it. With a full exhaust system and DNA filter they told me that i would need to remap the bike so it will not "dry up". Fuel X Pro will save me right;
Hey man, do you still have this duke with the fuel x pro since you got it hooked up? I was just curious on it's long term performance. I got a '23 Svartpilen 401 recently and I am looking to do the fuel x mod as the bike has the same motor
@@burnoutbobby Right on! Out of curiosity, how much does your bike have on the clock? And if you remember that far back did you obey the break in period to a tee or were you a but laxxed about it?
@User_Brandon I have a few thousand on it now. Can’t remember. For the break in period from ktm I followed the rules 85% of the time. There was a few time I went past the suggested rpm.
Hi, i own a 2021 KTM RC 200 and plan on installing an aftermarket exhaust resulting in the exhaust being free flow,. If i do that, should i tune the ecu or can use the vehicle as is? If not does the fuelx lite or pro may be sufficient or do I do anything else?
I have a two questions.first one is if you order a GT6 engine from Amazon is it a running engine or just the case? My second question is what do you think about the Ice Bear scooter
I’m not sure I don’t trust the Amazon motors. I hear lots of horror stories. Ice bear are the ruck clone. Look similar but none of the parts match up if you ever want to put ruck parts on. The welds aren’t great on them and are known to crack on the frame. And then I hear the harness needs to get swapped out too the have some electrical problems. So it’s a tough call. Price point they are cheap but won’t be a easy build if you want to do a lot to it.
Do you need any other mods (cat delete, slip on exhaust, air filter, etc...) to run this and get the benefit of not bogging down in 1st and 2nd at slow speeds? Not really into modding my 2023 duke 390 but the bogging down is rather annoying.
@@burnoutbobbyawesome. Thanks for the quick response. There is no risk to any other part of the bike if it runs richer? If I do it I want to do it right. That is really strange. I have not dealt with that and I have only used the fuelx pro so I’m curious if it’s something to do with the autotune feature with that.
Im getting a ecu failure error on the system but no visible issues at all, like the bike is running in perfect condition. this came up like a day after instalation and its comes on and off Any help pls?
The bottom line is, I've yet to see a single person on UA-cam or in real life that knows how the fuelx actually works. Everyone hears that it's great and they stick it on their bike without understanding it.
Well that’s an easy answer. Let me help you out. It plugs to your lambda sensor which reads your air to fuel ratio, it then adjusts how much more or less fuel is needed when riding. The fuelx will add or remove fuel from the injector since it does not run at 100% duty cycle from ktm. Hope that helps.
Guess you weren’t happy with that answer. Hard to please then. One does it automatically with the lite and the fuelx pro you tune by hand and adjust on your own.

Just got the new unit for the 24 Duke 390. Can’t wait to install. The throttle response from the factory is pretty bad.
Yeah it is. This will clean it up.
