    Amla is also known as the Indian gooseberry and is dried to create a powder. This stays fresh for very long periods of time, and can be added to your drinks to provide you with some health benefits. In this video we discuss how amla contains a large amount of polyphenols which have antioxidant effects on the body. They boost the immune system, and are commonly used in ayurvedic medicine.

    Thank you so very much for this wonderful information. After seeing this video, I also started taking Amla Powder. I make it like a tea by putting a teaspoon of it into a cup of boiling water. After it is brewed, I drink it up and do not throw the residue and put more boiling water and have it sometime later. Of course the strength of it reduces a little but still it taste like Amla. From one teaspoon I can have the three times a day and I feel much better. I used to have heart pain when I walk briskly but now it is not there. Then my son had the most awful cough for years. He used to take western medicine but the coughing continued. Since I started giving him this drink for last two weeks, it has disappeared. He told me this just yesterday. So thank you very very much for your video. I have asked others to take it too. We are in the tropics so we have this tree but the fruits are seasonal. But as we can obtained the powder from the Ayurvedic shops in this country, thankfully it can be taken quite often. We in Sri Lanka calls this fruit "Nelli" Greetings to you from Sri Lanka.

      @ksandhu1513 5 років тому +1

      @@gardensofthegods how did you used wheat grass for premature hair grey? And in how many months did it worked for you.Could you please elaborate?

    • @gardensofthegods
      @gardensofthegods 5 років тому +1

      @@ksandhu1513 I was taking wheatgrass powder it comes with a little scoop in it that might equal 2 teaspoons ? ( I'm not sure I never measured it ).. but I would do that everyday in either water or juice ,
      In a very short amount of time like within two weeks I started noticing when I would brush my hair back it was coming in black at the roots .. (sometimes I would get lazy and not color it but I had gone prematurely gray in fact my hair had turned totally white believe it or not by the time I was in my late twenties and had to color constantly .)
      So then I noticed Not only was it coming in black at the roots on some of the hair but that it was black all the ways down there hair to where you could see the old hair color... my hair was long maybe seven in past the shoulders and I couldn't figure out how the color was going all the ways down but it was.. the exact same thing happened a year earlier when I was doing black seed oil a little bit every day maybe a half a teaspoon.. in both cases for whatever reason I got lazy and stopped buying those two products and then regretted it 9, 10 months , a year later.. because it would have made a difference.
      This time I did a little bit of Kalonji oil everyday a scoop of the wheatgrass powder everyday and a little bit of amla powder several times a week maybe a half a teaspoon . the amla I don't do every day because sometimes it increased my appetite and I want to stay slim. I don't want to be thinking about food .
      But I saw a huge difference within 2 months . It went from totally White to mostly black all around the hairline. There were some stubborn sections on the very top so all in all in some places the hair looks dark gray and some other places medium gray and in the most resistant spots light grey but all underneath at the roots and some of the strands going all the ways down were totally black...
      2 weeks ago I cut off about 7 inches of hair but it still comes down to my shoulders.. I realized that if I had cut it even shorter it would probably come in faster at the roots my natural color but I don't want short hair.
      I did end up coloring my hair with a semi-permanent product to make it look even toned.. that was about two and a half weeks ago and all I can tell you is something I'm taking is making the hair grow fast.. I'm not sure what it is but I don't want my hair to grow fast because that means I'm probably going to have to take even more wheatgrass powder Etc.
      there is also a way to color your hair naturally with amla powder but I don't think I should try it because it's possible that there could be a chance it might be dangerous for people who are worried about getting heavy metals in their brain and bloodstream ... supposedly you take amla powder and if you want it to actually turn a dark color you supposed to actually use an iron skillet and if it's not iron you won't get the desired effect ... but there's a couple videos that show you exactly how to do it I can't remember how much wood are you supposed to add or if it's oil.. or both ... but after you let it sit in the pan all night it's supposed to be kind of a blackish color by morning .
      the problem is the fatty tissue on the scalp absorbs heavy metals and other things that are in the hair products which could actually be dangerous . that's why I haven't tried this yet because it would be free for me but I don't know if it's worth it . you have to be careful with any kind of metal supplements whether iron or copper... it's best to allow your body to absorb those from foods that are high in them such as mushrooms are high in Copper.
      recently somebody said you can take about a teaspoon of black sesame seeds and soak them in a tall glass of water for at least eight or nine hours and drink that first thing in the morning preferably on an empty stomach .
      so I just started doing this a couple days ago... and I also started eating more black sesame seeds simply because they are high in Copper .
      the Chinese have a tea called FOTI root.. it's Chinese name is something like zhe he shou wan.. you want to look that up for the correct Chinese name and see if you can find it in a Chinese grocer or in the Chinese medicinal section and hope you have the real thing and also hope that it's not tainted or contaminated because even some of the Chinese people here in America won't buy any food substance or tea from China .
      I'm sorry this is so very long... any way with taking any of these things that will not truly recolor your hair remember that the shorter your hair the quicker the results .
      now I also just started a protocol for getting rid of wrinkles... and I just started tha 2 days ago :
      a tablespoon of white vinegar in a tall glass of water everyday also try to eat at least three or four tall stalks of celery everyday and also do some bentonite clay... maybe a teaspoon in warm water everyday for maybe a couple weeks or a month and then stop with the clay for maybe a couple weeks but it's also supposed to be a powerful detox and gets rid of heavy metals.. make sure when you do bentonite clay that you are drinking plenty of fluids and eating a lot of roughage .
      if you have anymore questions feel free to ask me

While selling he used to eat 2 or 3 amla everyday and after few month his white hair became black and face was shining . Amla is anti- aging.
