Its crazy how little info is out there on this product - I really appreciate this vid! 1) I rewatched but couldn’t tell if theres a mix knob to listen (and mix) the logic vocal track plugins with the apogee on-board fx? 2) If there is a mix knob, would you do a quick vid to test an fx heavy vocal track on logic? Specifically a real time auto-tune and maybe neutron from izotope.
Hello. I recently got a Symphony Desktop. When turned on it has a slight noise(hum)... This is also present when you push the preamps above 60% of the gain range and increase more you go towards max gain... How is your unit?
I've followed the instructions exactly, but my vocal is way too quiet in my headphones relative to the rest of the song. I try to turn it up, but it just makes everything louder or introduces a ton of noise. Am I missing a step? Why is not easier to monitor yourself with how expensive this is? Kind of regret this purchase if I'm being honest.

I run studio one 5 pro on windows. Do you know if i can still use it this way? Ill probably be switching to Mac in the fall. Thanks again
great video thanks. When you added effects in Logic and there was an echo from latency, was this something that could be fixed by a faster mac? or does this have to do with the relation of the apogee?
Great video! I have always used Logic software monitoring for recording and have gotten by but when using the mixer monitoring like you showed can the vocalist still hear the applied plugins in the vocal chain in Logic? That part I was a bit confused about.
If you want to use the plugins without the interface like you mention in the end, do you need to purchase the plugins that come with the interface or you can use them anyways? thanks.
This is in a future release, its in the release notes for "Release 1.3 Features" which says: Device Control integration (this includes the Direct button) in Logic Pro X Additional plugin parameter controls via Touch Screen Control MIDI over USB
Best way is to slap an all wet reverb on the vocal track and enable software monitoring. That way you can still monitor latency free through the interface and get a reverb with hardly noticeable latency because it works as predelay.
Hold on. You're comparing apples and oranges then complaining about the difference. You monitor through the DAW with ISOTOPE enabled, then complain about the latency. Then you direct monitor through the Apogee WITHOUT ISOTOPE.
When...someone....will let that sound samples of reporting gear just play...I cannot find reasonable reviews of gear nowhere...it´s just look on this plugin...look on that....look on that...just let someone rap or sing into some beat and let me hear how that device sounds...please...PS: Don´t do just mic check, one, two, mic check...:D

You need to purchase de plugins.
Wasn’t this interface supposed to have a “direct” button on Logic’s channel strip?
