How to Convert a White Toner Printer to a Sublimation Printer

In this step-by-step video guide, we'll show you how to transform your DigitalHeat FX i650 White toner printer into a versatile dye sublimation printer using the IColor 650 Sublimation Toner Cartridge Kit. Whether you're new to sublimation printing or looking to expand your printing capabilities, this tutorial has you covered!
Here are the steps covered in this video:
1. Power off your printer and access the cartridges by opening the lid. Remove and store the standard toner/drum cartridges in a cool, dark place.
2. Prepare the sublimation cartridges by opening them, starting with the black cartridge. Remove any seal tape and packaging.
3. Install the black sublimation cartridge into the front slot of the drum unit, ensuring a flush and in place.
4. Repeat the installation process with the yellow, magenta, and cyan sublimation cartridges, ensuring they are installed correctly according to the configuration.
5. Power on your printer after installing all cartridges. Load it with standard printer paper (good quality copy paper recommended) to start sublimation printing.
