Do you have any suggestions for using the sublimation prints on tumblers? The paper sticks to the tumbler when I try this (particularly on dark prints).
about how long does the sublimation ink last. It seems exensive.
How about a vid on how to use the printer as a regular black print. Assume we are completely new to this.
I'm having issues getting the vibrant colors. They look washed out. Is there a specific color profile for sublimation? Should I be creating in RGB as well?
Is full color transfer possible on black mug? Can print with white toner?
You can do white toner using premium 1 step for ceramic paper. That will work with any mug. For sublimation you need a light color sublimation mug, or you can use a dark color mug that has a white print base
When you say sublimation lasts longer than any other method does that include DTG and DTF printing?
Yes that is correct, certain factors can change the quality, but overall sublimation does last longer since it's bonded directly to the garment.
@@Drew_Ricoma Thank you for responding!! One more question. Does a sublimation printer need ventilation like the DTG and DTF printers do? All of this is still a bit confusing to me.
Yes, it's always recommended to have some ventilation for yours printers to avoid overheating them. Try to have them unobstructed.
@@RicomaPrints Thank you! I was actually more concerned about toxic fumes. I have done research and on the DTG and DTF printers there are purifiers or vent systems that are supposed to offset the fumes. I was wondering if the sublimation printer was the same.
soooo we do not need special sublimation paper?
You can use regular printing paper
So, wait a minute!! No marrying the sheets? AND we are only using white copy paper with this one toner cartridge???
That's correct! As long as you have the sublimation inks, you can do this with regular printing paper!
