You guys have such quality vehicles in Arizona. The rust free condition is amazing. I always wonder why vehicles like that have been put in junkyards in the first place. Keep saving them old gem's and congratulations on your marriage!
To me these were the best looking Dodge trucks, better than the ones before them, and definitely all the ones up to today. Sad thing is, they just aren't around like the same era Fords and Chevys. I've been to dozens and dozens of car shows and cruise-ins all over my state for years, and i've maybe seen one of these trucks twice. One of them happened to be the ultra-rare fleetside bed with fins. I seldom see them even in junkyards or fields, in need of fixing. Anyway very good find. If there's a way y'all can keep this one, I would. I'm not even a Dodge guy, but anyone can see this truck is unique and deserves restoration.
If you look for the larger "C" stake trucks you can still find them. I picked up a 55 C3H Custom restored with hemi and an all steel M37 troop carrier bed for 65 hundred a few years ago. I had to do brakes, tires, driveshafts, and carb but now it's great. Your can enlarge my avatar spot and see it in the background. The previous owner painted it that 67 Corvette Marina Blue which took some getting used to but I've grown to like it. I fell in love with the 58-60 as a kid. The dad on Lassie drove a white one. 👊😎👍
That dodge is in great condition for the age. Runs good too!! I love those old dodge trucks. That Cadillac is sick too! Thats a nice car. Congratulations on your wedding!!
The older I get the more I appreciate all makes of older trucks, Truely miss seeing them on the road. Thanks for the videos, my dad has long since passed but its nice to see father and son working together, hopefully my son gets interested in cars at an early age like i did. Take care!
Nice old Dodge. The engine sounds good and there's very little rust/rot on the truck. The new Dodges start rotting away the minute you drive it off the lot. Good luck with it. 👍
Teal paint & patina is my most FAVORITE look, bonus points if it has two-tone teal & white. By the way, I want to work for you some how. I just want to do what you do. Not for the screen time, only for the wrenching time and helping with projects. I’d work for meals if I had to
TOOL old school Dodge, thank you for sharing and your APPRECIATION to your subscribers Travis. Congrats on your recent marriage, I wish you many happy days.
First of all . Congratulations on getting married. I wish your bride and long life and much happiness for the future. Looking to seeing the upcoming projects. Especially the Elcammino and International . Well done
Great video. Dad had a '65 pickup we drove for many years. I remember the cab being big and hollow-sounding, like riding in a tin drum. But a nice truck.
I wasn’t much of a dodge fan, you can blame the 1980s and 1990s. But I found out, I do love old dodge trucks. Oh what a beauty you got there! Graduations on your wedding. Honor your bride every day. You may think working on old trucks is hard- every day relationship is hard work . Put every ounce of love & effort you can into. Rely on the Lord, he won’t steer you wrong. It is well worth it! congratulations and God bless you.
Late 50s definetly had some of the most beautiful designs for trucks. I just love the dual headlights. Gmc, ford, dodge, and chevy all looked amazing in this few years.
That 56000 miles is right it's not 156 it's 56 the rubber is still on the gas panel and clutch still got a horn button that's 56000 miles on that truck and you can tell the engine solid started right up
Ive got one of those, 1960, and a 62 town wagon in the backyard here in central Arizona I should figure out what to do with, lots of potential. Really tempted to put the pickup body on our 96 ram...
Love dodge trucks. Very nice design there wow that's beautiful. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Nice truck! I love the color. Can you say where you got it and how much you paid? Been trying to find something like it, but the facespace doesn't let me look more than 50 miles.
If somebody put a new dog, build a new dot new frame for it, and then find a donut truck, find a donut truck, find a truck, maybe like about a 1998 or something in a junkyard John Jarred. Pull put on a new engine in it, put a nice and ancient in it. Put nice new mirrors in there. LA d lights on it, you're the nice new windshield. Everything new wipers a nice little system. And it painted a nice blue blue. Just to truck up making a real nice and spiffy spiffy
Congratulations on your marriage and all the work you and dad have done. Hope your new wife is a gearhead. Best always!
Those old 318 where very good engines. That truck needs saved. Bet it’s only 56 k miles. Congratulations on the new life. Thanks from. Sc.
* 58 to 60 Dodges are great looking trucks ! The dad on Lassie drove a white one ! 👊😎👍

That is a bad ass truck!! I love it!!! I love seeing old dodge trucks being brought back. Good work! Love it!
Oh wow. Congratulations to you and Mrs. Travis.
This is a real nice looking truck with its patina. In my opinion this body style of the D-100 is way better looking than the 61-71!!!
Yes
That 318 is a poly , a very good design !
Those old poly 318s were tough engines.
Nice old Dodge. The engine sounds good and there's very little rust/rot on the truck. The new Dodges start rotting away the minute you drive it off the lot. Good luck with it. 👍

TOOL old school Dodge, thank you for sharing and your APPRECIATION to your subscribers Travis. Congrats on your recent marriage, I wish you many happy days.
Thank you appreciate that
That is not patina, its patterned surface rust. But solid truck to restore especially having a poly V8
I would leave it as is, I’d redo the chassis and a modern day hemi set up. Nice truck. Oh my bad, the 318 is a keeper for sure.
Congratulations on your wedding!
Thank you!
That old dodge is well worth spending some money on and getting it back up and driving.
It's as old as me, 1960 my birth year. Would look cool in my driveway.
So you were about 20 in 1980? What was it like being a teen then?

Late 50s definetly had some of the most beautiful designs for trucks. I just love the dual headlights. Gmc, ford, dodge, and chevy all looked amazing in this few years.
Yes they did. 59 was the best year for all manufacturers in my opinion
It's a 1960, I'M PRETTY SURE.
This is a 60, not a 59.

Thank you for sharing, God bless 🙏
I like the truck + the dashboard truck style.
Thanks!
Thank you for the gift
5 year old vehicles in Ontario, Canada have more rust if they drive through the winter. Salt, Calcium Spray and Sand do them in.
Awesome! I was born in 60 love to own one like this!
Autolite Plugs for that engine, I owned three of them .
Congratulations 🎉
Not a dodge man but have respect
What happened to this truck? I love the body style on this year...
Thx for sharing...
If dad ever decides to take a foster kid to adopt... I am in line there, great editing and great content!

Ive got one of those, 1960, and a 62 town wagon in the backyard here in central Arizona I should figure out what to do with, lots of potential. Really tempted to put the pickup body on our 96 ram...

Congratulations on your wedding. May you have a long happy marriage together.
Congrats on your marriage!
Thank you
That price just went up 😂
Never seen one of these before. Real nice looking truck, rivals Ford F100 for cool styling. Would look great as a sympathetic patina restoration.
Love dodge trucks. Very nice design there wow that's beautiful. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
GREAT VIDEO AND A GREAT BUILD. THANKS FOR SHARING.
Love it. What are you going to do with it?
Congratulations.
Love from IRAN ❤
Thanks for watching from Iran !
Congratulations Mr and absolutely fantastic video
Yes and probably doesn't have electrical and transmission problems
I would like a 60 ford forget the 292. I would put in a 260 truck those little engines had balls.
Man, my dad had a 62 Ford unibody long bed with a 292 three on the tree. that's how I learned to drive out in the desert !
Congratulations on your marriage.😄
So whose truck was it? Always interested to hear the story.
Who makes Replacement parts and why don’t LMC or other companies make parts for Dodge Trucks 1960 and back ? Like Ford and Chevys
Congratulations on getting married!
Congratulations buddy!!
Very nice running truck.
Nice truck! I love the color. Can you say where you got it and how much you paid? Been trying to find something like it, but the facespace doesn't let me look more than 50 miles.

If the shift lever is on the column-it's a three speed.
Since I was born in 1960. I Always wanted 1960 pick up
That is a great looking truck.
