Congratulations on your marriage and all the work you and dad have done. Hope your new wife is a gearhead. Best always!
Those old 318 where very good engines. That truck needs saved. Bet it’s only 56 k miles. Congratulations on the new life. Thanks from. Sc.
* 58 to 60 Dodges are great looking trucks ! The dad on Lassie drove a white one ! 👊😎👍
You guys have such quality vehicles in Arizona. The rust free condition is amazing. I always wonder why vehicles like that have been put in junkyards in the first place. Keep saving them old gem's and congratulations on your marriage!
That dodge is in great condition for the age. Runs good too!! I love those old dodge trucks. That Cadillac is sick too! Thats a nice car. Congratulations on your wedding!!
As Flo Says, YES SIR RE BOB!
To me these were the best looking Dodge trucks, better than the ones before them, and definitely all the ones up to today. Sad thing is, they just aren't around like the same era Fords and Chevys. I've been to dozens and dozens of car shows and cruise-ins all over my state for years, and i've maybe seen one of these trucks twice. One of them happened to be the ultra-rare fleetside bed with fins. I seldom see them even in junkyards or fields, in need of fixing. Anyway very good find. If there's a way y'all can keep this one, I would. I'm not even a Dodge guy, but anyone can see this truck is unique and deserves restoration.
If you look for the larger "C" stake trucks you can still find them. I picked up a 55 C3H Custom restored with hemi and an all steel M37 troop carrier bed for 65 hundred a few years ago. I had to do brakes, tires, driveshafts, and carb but now it's great. Your can enlarge my avatar spot and see it in the background. The previous owner painted it that 67 Corvette Marina Blue which took some getting used to but I've grown to like it. I fell in love with the 58-60 as a kid. The dad on Lassie drove a white one. 👊😎👍
The older I get the more I appreciate all makes of older trucks, Truely miss seeing them on the road. Thanks for the videos, my dad has long since passed but its nice to see father and son working together, hopefully my son gets interested in cars at an early age like i did. Take care!
That is a bad ass truck!! I love it!!! I love seeing old dodge trucks being brought back. Good work! Love it!
Oh wow. Congratulations to you and Mrs. Travis.
You know I keep saying it I don't know how these old ass motors just fire and idle 😂 it's so dam awesome congratulations on the wedding dude. 🎉
Nice, great running 318 comes back to life!
Teal paint & patina is my most FAVORITE look, bonus points if it has two-tone teal & white. By the way, I want to work for you some how. I just want to do what you do. Not for the screen time, only for the wrenching time and helping with projects. I’d work for meals if I had to
Would like to see more on this truck. Congratulations are in order!
This is a real nice looking truck with its patina. In my opinion this body style of the D-100 is way better looking than the 61-71!!!
Yes
That 318 is a poly , a very good design !
Love watching you working with your dad. Reminds me of my dad and me when I was younger (Im 68 now)
Nice old Dodge. The engine sounds good and there's very little rust/rot on the truck. The new Dodges start rotting away the minute you drive it off the lot. Good luck with it. 👍
Beautiful. Truck. Congratulations. You guys. Work. Together. Keep on keeping on. Thanks
Those old poly 318s were tough engines.
Congrats!! Another great video
It's as old as me, 1960 my birth year. Would look cool in my driveway.
So you were about 20 in 1980? What was it like being a teen then?
Congratulations on your wedding!
Thank you!
Congratulations cherish your lady
Congratulations Travis on your marriage. And the start on the 59 dodge truck. Thank you for sharing 💯👊👍
Thank you !
This is a 60.
That is not patina, its patterned surface rust. But solid truck to restore especially having a poly V8
Sweet Dodge good job getting it going guys
TOOL old school Dodge, thank you for sharing and your APPRECIATION to your subscribers Travis. Congrats on your recent marriage, I wish you many happy days.
Thank you appreciate that
First. Congratulations on your marriage! Next. Cool truck! I always look forward to your videos. Thanks!
I would leave it as is, I’d redo the chassis and a modern day hemi set up. Nice truck. Oh my bad, the 318 is a keeper for sure.
That old dodge is well worth spending some money on and getting it back up and driving.
First of all . Congratulations on getting married. I wish your bride and long life and much happiness for the future. Looking to seeing the upcoming projects. Especially the Elcammino and International . Well done

Comment for fun and good content. Very much good content from you. Thnx for sharing!😊
Great video. Dad had a '65 pickup we drove for many years. I remember the cab being big and hollow-sounding, like riding in a tin drum. But a nice truck.
This truck has less rot than a 15 year old Dodge RAM!
NO SHIT.
the late model trucks need less Ram and more Dodge
Ain't That The Truth Fitz ! 👊😎👍
Dodge trucks rule, Ram trucks suck!!!!!
And more paint 😊
Congratulations on getting married, all the best to you and your new wife ✌👍😎
Great truck, and congrats on getting married.
I got to say I love those old D100 and that one with the 200 horsepower v8. You made an old man happy I'm a Mopar fanatic from way back in the days I can tell you I built my first car when I was 15 and it was a 68 Roadrunner and from that point forward it was Mopar Mopar Mopar. Travis I wanted to tell you congratulations, you couldn't have picked a better gal to marry. I wish you many many years of love. Hoping one day to make it out to your area catch up to you and your dad. Many blessings to you and your dad and your new bride.
Thank you ! Means a lot. And thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing, God bless 🙏
Not a Dodge man but I love old trucks
Congratulations Mr and absolutely fantastic video
That 56000 miles is right it's not 156 it's 56 the rubber is still on the gas panel and clutch still got a horn button that's 56000 miles on that truck and you can tell the engine solid started right up
Congratulations 🎊 on the marriage
Congratulations 😁
Late 50s definetly had some of the most beautiful designs for trucks. I just love the dual headlights. Gmc, ford, dodge, and chevy all looked amazing in this few years.
Yes they did. 59 was the best year for all manufacturers in my opinion
It's a 1960, I'M PRETTY SURE.
This is a 60, not a 59.
Mopar or no car. I am a life long dodge fan.
AMEN SISTA!
Awesome! I was born in 60 love to own one like this!
Love dodge trucks. Very nice design there wow that's beautiful. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
I used to have the same truck in a long bed and red.
I like the truck + the dashboard truck style.
Congratulations.
Love from IRAN ❤
Thanks for watching from Iran !
Love the video great old Dodge
Congratulations buddy!!
Nice Truck!!!
Congratulations on your marriage.😄
Congrats on your marriage!
Thank you
That is a great looking truck.
Very nice running truck.
5 year old vehicles in Ontario, Canada have more rust if they drive through the winter. Salt, Calcium Spray and Sand do them in.
Congratulations 🎉
Good job guys
Love it. What are you going to do with it?
Interesting video and you've just got to love a poly motor. Is there anything you can tell me about the 51-52 Dodge sitting right in front of it?
Thanks!
Thank you for the gift
CONGRADULATIONS!!!!
Congratulations!!
Ive got one of those, 1960, and a 62 town wagon in the backyard here in central Arizona I should figure out what to do with, lots of potential. Really tempted to put the pickup body on our 96 ram...
Congratulations on getting married!
Autolite Plugs for that engine, I owned three of them .
Never seen one of these before. Real nice looking truck, rivals Ford F100 for cool styling. Would look great as a sympathetic patina restoration.
Congratulations! I hope you might introduce your bride at some point in the near future.
Does she have the same passion as you on these old vehicles?
She likes old cars and helps when I ask her to, but not as vested in them as me lol
@@theetravisb Like SLEEPERDUDE and His Wife and Kids, The Whole Family, and The Farm Pets also.
Beautiful!
Not a dodge man but have respect
Beautiful truck
I would like a 60 ford forget the 292. I would put in a 260 truck those little engines had balls.
Man, my dad had a 62 Ford unibody long bed with a 292 three on the tree. that's how I learned to drive out in the desert !
Love the patina
That MMO helped free up the rings.
