@@LastDaysDetective we need more responsible teachers of God’s Word like you. Nowadays unfortunately there is so much weirdness and false doctrines being taught. I only listen to teachings that are Scripture-based and non- sensational. They take me straight to the Bible to keep studying and learning on my own, and that's what good teachers like you do. Brother, Are you familiar with the half preterist view? Where some believe that when Jesus said it is finished he meant it both Spiritual ly and literally at that time and that he has already come again within us by his Spirit? And that when he comes again there won't be a millennium reign just the new heaven and new 🌎?
I would like to know...if you had to say something to someone that believed that, what verses would you point them to OR how would you defend your position??

Yes, Jesus did come back to His disciples by the Spirit on the day of Pentecost, yet His physical return is still future. He himself said He will come with all the angels in power and great glory (Matt 24 /25). The two angels in Acts 1 said He will come in the same way He left Jerusalem - physically and visibly.
That there is a millennium between the return of Jesus and the eternal state is clear from scores of passages in the Bible that deal with a time of restoration on earth after the return of Jesus - a time when people will still die even though they will live longer than now (Isaiah 65). In the eternal state, there will be no more death (Rev 21).
@@LastDaysDetective there are so many other questions that stem from this but I guess the one I would ask for now is, do you hold to a specific doctrine yourself? For example pre millennialism, amillenialist or post millennialism? I'm assuming from your answer the first?
