4:30 I think alot of the 49mm iron sleeve kits have the sticking piston towards the bottom when dropped in 🆚 47mm Anbull that had tons of clearance. I know the piston is only traveling half way down cyl. But the piston skirt is either hammering away on bottom cyl/cyl skirt on every stroke or the friction from sticking/rubbing is gonna created heat.
To be safe I sanded the sticking point areas in cyl then rehoned it. In hindsight I probably should have sanded away & smoothed some piston skirt also. The piston skirt has milling grooves instead of being smooth. Not sure if it really makes a difference unless. The grooves of piston skirt are rubbing on cyl wal 🆚 a smooth skirt that has a film of oil. Then again the piston skirt grooves might actually be used to trap & hold an oil film on the skirt walls 🤷‍♂️
I think if I didn't remove the piston sticking issue. On the 49mm iron cylinder. The iron cyl skirt/bottom, might have broken off & fell into case.
I was surprised with the 47mm Anbull build, I bought in 2020. It was full of dirt/debris- it didn't use hex head bolts or 8mm mounting studs. So I figured it was garbage but the crank was actually balanced- no vibration. Unless I just got lucky and it wasn't purposely balanced. Others have said the 50mm "100cc" 1pc cyl Anbull was a decent engine.
I'm hoping to find a 3 wheel recumbent trike for cheap & make a foam/fiberglass enclosure & add ebike motor kit to make it 100% legal to ride in cold & rain. What's stupid is a motorized recumbent trike is illegal but an electric isn't if 750w or under.
I have decent 89 Ford econoline van in good shape, for it age sitting in a relatives backyard but it needs 4 tires $800 $125 battery $75 fluids $100 filtets $200-$300 misc.$1200-$2000yr insurance $120 registration & only gets like 14 mpg. So in just one year would cost around $4000 (has cracked windshield need$ replaced also)
Hoping to make electric velomobile that looks like a mini Tesla Cyber Truck aka Cyber Trike since the sharp angle body shape would be easier to build than curved tear drop shape. I wanna hsve some cargo grocery room behind the seat. Instead of buying a large ebike battery. Id buy a smaller one and bring along a portable 700w inverter generator $200 for charging basically an instant hybrid. The generator could run a heater for cold & Peltiers & fans for cab air conditioning in summer. Gonna sell my Buell & Yamaha to scrape up the build money & keep motorized bicycle.
A 16 mile trip sitting down in electric recumbent trike (hopefully with suspension) is going to be way more comfortable than 16 miles on a hard tail motorized bicycle. Plus hual more gear...Hardtail motorcycles also suck to ride long distance 🆚 soft tail.
Im hoping if I ever got one built. That people would see it on the road & would possibly want to buy one. The 2nd build is always easier. The store bought velomobiles are stupid expensive. Fiberglass is much cheaper & easier than carbon fiber. The velomobile body doesn't need to be carbon fiber. (There's some diy foam fiberglass boat building videos from Thailand using scrap parts that turned out awesome)
Doesn't make much sense for a person to invest thousands and then $3,000+ a year just to be able to drive a 14 mpg van to the grocery store. When I could be driving an electric trike for WAY cheaper than can be charged by 3, 100w fold up solar panels, wall plugin 🔌 or portable generator.
Hopefully find used recumbent trike under $1000, ebike kit with battery $700-ish diy fiberglass enclosure $300-ish? in materials. If you get bored check out video titled DIY Solar Powered Clipper Trike. It's similar to what I had in mind but his is too tall & slower than what I had in mind. He did give up his truck & truck payments and is saving lots of money on transportation costs.
    I'll stop here lol

I like the idea and I looked up that little car that's pretty neat and you're right that's a lot of money to just go get groceries I have three cars that I maintain maintenance insurance everything so yes it is expensive just to go buy groceries thanks for watching brother and thank you and you ride safe and good luck on your project

The cast aluminum performance head has worked well for me. It's got quite a bit of mass, and seems to keep engine temps lower than any others I've tried.

Thanks for watching brother hopefully we're going to go with the billet aluminum one but I have to check the ones out you're talking about if you can share me a link are you ride brother.
