I feel like the story is getting better and better as i go through the game, I kept saying if it keeps going like this it could go down as one of the best video games of all time. It's one of those games that you play and are reminded of why you love video games when all these other games from the past couple of years had you bored or feeling meh.
This game is something truly special. I have never been THIS obsessed with a game since I first played Yakuza back in summer of 2019. I genuinely cannot stop playing this game, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Also think these two are worth mentioning: 1. Yesterday when the game launched, our school ended up having a CODE RED immediately before the bell rang. Had to spend another hour and a half in that fucking shitshow… but then I came home…. Happiness. 2. POSSIBLE EARLY GAME SPOILERS. Did the Thor boss fight, and during the fight, right when Thor said “Let me see the REAL God of War!” I happened to have Spartan Rage charged up…. You can imagine what happened next. I am absolutely in love with this game…. Holy shit.
This game is hot ass, the story line sucks, there’s no replay value, the graphics and gameplay are literally exactly the same as part 4, y’all just fan boys is all
I believe a new bar has been set graphically and cinematically. Definitely props to Cory Barlog, but Eric Williams directed this one. This shit has been epic so far and I’m only 4-5 hours in.

I like how Kratos said No! to Odin, I think Kratos was testing him to see if he really wanted peace, if that was the case, he would not have ordered Thor to kill him, but thor been itching to fight Kratos anyway so the fight would have eventually went down anyway with Odin order..but damn that fight was so damn epic & wonderfully done..

Elden ring is a great game but after beating both of these games, the one thing God of war ragnarok triumphs over elden ring in my honest opinion is everything from graphics, story, gameplay, soundtrack, audio, boss battles. Only thing I will give elder ring is replay value and it's open world. Also God of war ragnarok made me cry, laugh, angry, happy and everything u can have in a game with emotions, definitely top in its class in every area of the game. They both deserve goty but my personal opinion God of war ragnarok was better in almost every area and will be remembered for many years as one of the greatest games of all time. Also remember the god of war 2018 won goty over red dead redemption 2 which had a metacritic of 97 and sold more than elden ring yet God of war still beat it for goty with a metacritic of 94. It's not how good a games gameplay that wins it, it's the game that delivers all of that and some and most importantly the impact it left on the player storywise that gamers will never forget and God of war ragnarok delivers just that. But whoever wins I won't have a problem with it because they both deserve it in my opinion.

I said this a couple times to other people already, but I have to say , don't usually say this alot , but I think God of War Ragnarok has to be one of the most beautiful physical copies I've seen in a while. The way it blends with the black and white and blue of the PlayStation case and PS5 label , (chefs kiss ) mixes so well . The art , the look of Kratos and Atreus, the message it gives off that they're bout to go through hell and back in the Norse lands with RAGNAROK approaching, I mean c'mon, the covers just epic ASF lol. It's a rare compliment I don't give or say too often. But the game itself alone is a possible whole other masterpiece of a story ( I say possible cause I'm still replaying 2018 as we speak lol ain't got much patience left 😆but I'm willing to savour it a bit longer since I was replaying all the games again . Ascension, Chains of Olympus, 1 , Ghost of Sparta, 2, 3 now 2018 again I want all the gow plunged into my veins before I witness this masterpiece lol. I want the impact of this story to hit harder with all the knowledge I re have now of Kratos. ) Which is why the covers even more epic, the stories this man Kratos has lol it just coincides it all of why this cover of the game/series is a masterpiece. Can't wait to experience it , unfortunately I'm gonna have to skip any gameplay related stuff from this vid ( which I really hate to give myself a cliffhanger lol ) but I'll watch the unboxing part lol can't miss those. Came back after delving into Ragnarok for a couple days , after that intro with Thor, MY GOD LOL one of the best scenes/fights I've seen in a game in history lol I've never felt nervous, tense, excited , and hyped In for one sitting in a game like this in a hot minute lol after experiencing that intro for myself, I knew you were gonna have my same reaction towards this lol and I'm not dissapointed 😅 . After replaying the whole series again before getting into Ragnarok, made this one scene even more worth it, I'm not even halfway through yet I believe lol but my god (of War 😄) what a ride it's been so far. I still can't get over that whole Kratos , Odin and Thor scene in his house . It's just amazing and the intro fight with Thor, the acting, the lines, the action, art and level design everything, it's impossible to say if something is perfect, but that was damn well near perfectly made imo lol .
