“If you snap or clap on one and three most of the time you’re wrong” **smiles in passive aggression** 😂😂😂 YES! EVERYONE PLEASE LEARN HOW TO SNAP/CLAP on 2 and 4!
Even if she's pitchy for like, what, a split second?, she has an AMAZING pitch. I always sort of come back to this video of hers, rehearsing 1+1 backstage, and I just can't believe her ear and overall ability and sense of musicality. And I loved that concluding "I like Beyoncé" at the end, like what else there is to say, right?
You can get away with a lot as a singer especially in this sort of intimate setting. Not that it was really noticeable except to someone trying to critique her in an unfeeling robotic away instead of enjoying her emotional heart-felt and beautiful delivery. Anyway, It actually brought a sense of vulnerability, connectiveness and honesty with the intended audience. Nevermind, her overall performance here was absolutely fantastic and to top it all off with a smile that could melt cold steel. Yeah Sam she got me too.
Whether it's a chair or the ground, she's still singing that incredibly while sitting, which compresses your lungs and can negatively impact your singing
See, I’m not a particular fan of her music. Just doesn’t do anything for me. But I would never deny that she is an amazing vocalist. It’s just that most of her music doesn’t move me.
I’ve never heard anyone discredit Beyoncé as a vocalist. Literally never. I’m sure people do, they’re obviously trolls. That said, while she’s clearly technically excellent, I don’t always *feel* Beyoncé’s vocals, like she’s detached emotionally from the song she’s singing. I feel that with the recorded version of this song which consequently seems bland, but this live version the exact opposite, this is nice.
I love how even her high notes seem really ‘full’. In the sense that it’s just a powerful straight tone with so much energy behind it, almost like a wolf howl. It sounds so beautiful and raw, while being so skilful 🥺
I love when musically trained coaches and people react to beyonce cause i always see people saying she cant sing, but ive never seen a voice teacher saying anything bad about her technique?
Because you can’t lol. I’ve always wondered what her training was like. Like is she one of those people with extraordinary natural ability and tendencies or has she been very rigorously trained. Maybe both
ASMR Dude she has been rigorously trained to the nines. I think she had raw talent as a child, but not as developed as some other singers at that age. Her training is what put her over the top.
B Martin Actually her natural gift and intuitions of her voice has always been there. Training just helps to hone in on those gifts. You can’t have a shitty voice and expect to train to have Beyoncé’s.
Same! She’s like the guidebook to how to sing correctly. Wish she would train herself to whistle register...I’m sure she can do that easy...then that wud be so amazingly complete!
What I really love about her is that she sings because she’s in love with it. No pretentiousness, she’s not trying to prove something or show off, she’s just letting the love of it come through her and not many vocalists can do that even if they can hit the notes
I've been to a lot of concerts that I loved but watching Beyoncé live is... an experience. She's not my favorite artist but it's my favorite concert I've ever been to. Even forgetting the fact that she's super dynamic and basically dances the whole time, it's just mind-blowing. It's just hard to believe she's human 😂😂
Attending a Beyonce concert is what made me a fan. Best show of my life! It really is an experience. Wish I could take everyone that calls her "overrated" to a concert with me.
