Kobe & Beyoncé have been friends since they both started their careers. Literally. They watched each other become the immortal beings that they are. Vanessa & Beyoncé were also close friends. I can’t imagine the pain she had in her mind & heart as she performed. Beautiful, beautiful performance. Probably her most heartfelt after her resentment performances.

In addition to feeling her emotion through the singing, I loved how Beyonce was singing directly to Vanessa on the big emotional bits. While I am impressed that she had the control to not break, I wouldn't have blamed her if she had.

I said the same thing. Beyoncé is a perfectionist and the “bright” on that first pass was under. She said, “nah. Run that back.” Just listen to the emphasis she put on it the second time. Every singer has had a moment like this. May we all have the poise to handle it the way she did.

I love Beyonce! She will never do anything where she does not give her 1000%. That's in itself a great thing. Someone so talented that still works so hard to get everything perfect.
People who say they don’t like Beyoncé because she’s “overrated” obviously haven’t given a listen to performances like this. Her vocals, her presentation for every song, and the dedication to choreography have me moved and inspired. I love plenty of beyonce songs but I wouldn’t say I’m the biggest fan. There are plenty of songs that just aren’t for me. But I know for a fact that Beyoncé is amazing!

Beyoncé is my favorite singer ever. She makes me so emotional. I think there’s no one else like her (no shade to so many talented singers, I’m just saying). I’ve had the privilege to see her live twice in my life and she’s really all that. One of those times I literally traveled for 3 whole days just to be able to see her live (and I would do it again!). She gives everything every time. I get it, there’s a lot of people who don’t like her, but I guess she’s one those artist you either love or you just don’t.
