It was called the Microsense Kramnik training camp and included youngsters Pragg, Gukesh, Raunak, Leon, Iniyan etc. who were trained by the legendary former World Champion. And now Kramnik is playing against these young talents and seeing their super quick growth to the absolute world elite. In this interview Kramnik speaks about his game against Gukesh and how Pragg does have his chances at the Candidates 2024.

Vlad is not even an indian and has done so much for indian chess. A very good ambassador of the sport.

Let's face it. Lately, he has gone from being an ambassador of the game to someone who has lost everybody's respect.

Loved how Sagar is able to talk with these World Champions so amicably and he is so well prepared too. Kramnik was chuckling throughout the whole interview, how many in the world would be able to do that. Sagar's interviews are absolute gems!!

Pragg is getting alot of attention but Gukesh could also have achieved all this if Magnus was not in his way. Waiting for another classical tournament where Pragg and Gukesh both play.

Great interview - Vlad is very modest as his coaching of the young Indian players must have played a big part in their progression & self confidence. 👍

Kramnik and Vishy Anand and very close friends. They go out for dinner together, talk a lot over the phone. They were even reported to have gone to have pizza together in the middle of the night. Kramnik helped Anand with match preparation during his World championship matches. So it's not surprising that when Anand started the Chess Academy, Kramnik visited the place and gave lectures to Anand's students that include Gukesh, Pragg, Erigaisi, Nihal and Raunak

We have to appreciate vishy Anand's influence here. Because he is famous and well connected among the chess elite, people like Kramnik, Boris Gelfand, Artur Yusupov etc agreed to come and work with students in Anand's chess Academy
