Dan S Oh please 🙄. Like it wasn’t obvious that Han was going to get saved after getting frozen in Empire, and that’s widely considered one of the best movies of all time. It isn’t pointless to the storytelling, and more importantly, it matters to the characters left behind. Predictable? Absolutely, but it’s still stellar filmmaking.
Dan S I know they’re not going to stay dead, I knew the moment it happened. It was very obvious, but the point is: So what? You just don’t get it, and that’s okay, but don’t act like you were the only one to realize what happened. Like we all don’t know that spider-man and black panther are getting sequels. Get over yourself. You may have been fooled by their promotions, so I somewhat get the nerd rage, but I’ve known for a long time now that this wasn’t going to work out the way that you apparently seemed to. That it wasn’t going to be the end for the original team (although I did think Tony was toast going into it). And I have no idea how you got it into your head that Avengers 4 was going to be a brand new story. It literally was called “Infinity War: Part 2” for a time. It’s going to end with the new beginning, not be about the new beginning. I guess you weren’t paying attention, but the rest of us knew what we were getting into. This movie went almost exactly as I thought it would, and I’m incredibly happy with it. Even if I believe that Loki and Heimdall will be the only permanent deaths. I don’t care, because the story was still amazing.
Dan S your "news flash" is directed at the marketing and news cycle surrounding the film. You are critiquing the entertainment news industry, not the film.
I know the Russo's said they tried to have Avengers 3 and 4 as separate movies, ditching the part one/part two thing, but this was DEFINITELY a part 1. It was fucking great. They did it. They did the 1 thing they HAD to do: they made Thanos great. He was horrifying, yet empathetic. Josh Brolin delivered what I think will be remembered as one of the best villains. They actually made you understand his actions. I did sob. The scene with Gamora and Thanos and THAT scene with Peter and Tony made me emotional as well. And this is a perfect set up for the next film. This generations Empire IMO. Honestly, and I know we say it a lot, but god bless the Russo's. They're big nerds like us, and they're so fucking talented. This film was a monumental achievement. Felt like I was witnessing history.
Alex Love I absolutely agree, this film was fucking fantastic. People love to talk shit, yet could they have come up with something better? From the script to the execution, this was a difficult task to say the least. Managing so many personalities on screen and making it work truly impressed me. I cannot wait for Avengers 4! Cheers
Josh Brolin is just fantastic. He's a national treasure. Did you see him in MIB3? He played young agent K and was great in that too. I thought he was also good as Cable in Deadpool 2. Such a great actor.
They always manage to sell the fuck out of these scenes. We all know Spider-Man is fine, but that boy Tom Holland came to play with that fantastic acting. Shit fucked me up.
Most everyone that died from the snap went immediately without realizing what was happening, the salt in the wound for peter is that him ‘not feeling so good’ was probably just his spider-sense warning him he was about to die. He probably felt his death more than anyone else.
I hate you for this comment... I cant handle it lol. Thor, Iron Man, Captain America are all so broken after losing everything. Now you wanna add Clint? Cant handle that....
Preying Ocelot ant man and the wasp probably will have a captain Marvel scene and maybe ant man and/or wasp fading away too. It’s hard to know what they are going to do for sure.

I think the reviews get way too all over the place when you don't do the plot walk through. Not to mention Greg's retelling it always entertaining on its own.
Coming back to this four years later and I enjoy every second of it. I don't think I will ever have a cinematic experience like I did with Infinity War ever again
*MAJOR FUCKING SPOILER* Well also his third movie was Civil War AND him and Tony never even shared the screen, they'll be plenty of time for Cap to chew the scenes in the next.
the movie was perfectly balanced, as everything should be. the pace was perfect thanos was perfect, the action was perfect 10/10 my only complaint is that thanos didn't think to use the time stone to stop thors hammer from stabbing him.
Bricks Accomplice I think maybe the hammer is invulnerable to the stones? Hence why it was able to push back all of the energy. At least that's what I figure.
Dan S Calls another person 12 year old: check Has unpopular opinion he needlessly shoves on others: check Calls person a fanboy after literally calling himself a bigger fan: check Calls fundamentally important scene pointless filler to reaffirm unpopular opinion: check Uses a 2007 X-) emoticon as snark: check Edge-lord detected.
Not gonna bring up Fury's 90s space pager?? Or speculate why he kept Carol as a last resort (I know this happened for the most part in like a day on earth, but who knows how quickly she could have gotten there. And obviously if she was in this movie, there probably would have been much of a movie bc she's op af). Or how cool it was to see Maria Hill, if only for 20 seconds.
I wonder if Parker stuck around before fading away because of his spidey-sense. "mr. stark, I don't feel so goood(well?)" as if he felt something horrible coming, realized what it was and was afraid to die.
At the end of the day the theme of this movie is actually the opposite of the title. The theme is love, every time they have Thanos on the ropes love gets in the way and how selfish love truly is. If it weren’t for love they would have defeated Thanos...and that’s what makes what the brothers did so monumental and special.
Finally saw the movie and I am still on a high from it, it was so good. I'm surprised though that my favorite fight in the whole MCU wasn't brought up, of the "plan" being enacted on Titan because oh my goodness was my heart stopped the whole time during it just from how awesome it was. I cannot wait for the return of MCU in Review and what comes next!
Kevin's excitedly hopeful "Are we going to do Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?" makes me wish the other guys were more into the show so we could get a super crazy Greg-ified version of the plot after the weird stuff they've done on that show.
I hope at the end of 4 the Fantastic Four show up from another universe and ask if they have dealt with Thanos in this universe yet and warn of another impending threat thats on the next level, maybe Galactus or Dormammu
No one's gonna mention the overly explicit way Dr. Strange mentioned the spell he put on the Time Stone? Sounded like a clear setup for the next movie?
This movie is the best in the MCU, but it does not stand alone. If you haven’t seen Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Ragnarok, Guardians 2, Civil War, and Ultron it won’t hit as hard. Unlike Spider-Man, Ragnarok, or Guardians 1&2 that are all very self contained.
An excellent film! Only thing I'm disappointed in was that Thanos didn't say that awesome line from the 1st trailer... "Fun isnt something one considers when balancing the universe, but this...does put a smile on my face"
I loved the movie, and I also loved how it just ended. Right when you thought the tides turned in the Avengers favor, boom, Thanos not only wins, but kills off half of the Universe with the snap of his fingers. End credits. I absolutely loved this movie.
I agree with Greg and Andy’s initial reactions for the ranking. I enjoyed the movie immensely. It’s great and definitely has the most impact. I just feel Ragnarok and up are more fun to go back to, and more rewatchable. That’s just my opinion though.
Film delivered on every level it's crazy we are even at the point where this can be a real thing and actually be good can not wait for Captain marvel now
That was their first onscreen kiss and that was the first time gamora actually spoke about living quill, from that to quill realising he just lost her in a day, it makes sense he lost it.
I feel like I need to go watch the Guardians 2 review. I think it's the only MCU movie I finished not having enjoyed it but you guys have it so highly.
Its after 4am Friday in NYC and I waited up all night from my 6pm Thursday showing for this. Best way to describe my emotions after watching: STUNNED DISBELIEF, reminded me of Last Jedi & Dark Knight Rises (the good versions of those films)
I think Thanos' limp was real, but I don't think it had to do with Thor. I think the use of the stones like that screwed him up a bit. His right arm in that last scene looks kinda messed up. Not just the glove.
Gamora isn't dead. Her soul is trapped in the soul gem. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 will be about Peter Quill trying to find a way to get her back and Adam Warlock will be the one to help with it. Just my theory based off my knowledge of the comic books.
Here's my rank so far. 1: Avengers Infinity War 2: Black Panther 3: Civil War 4: Spider Man Homecoming 5: Winter Solider 6: Guardians of the Galaxy 2 7: Thor Ragnarok 8: Guardians of the Galaxy 1 9: Avengers 10: Iron Man 3 11: Doctor Strange 12: Iron Man 13: Ant Man 14: Age of Ultron 15: First Avenger 16: Iron Man 2 17: Thor 1 18: Hulk 19: Dark World
for the people not understanding, i was sitting in front of a women that kept saying "i don't get it, whats happening" whether or not she had seen the rest of the films idk but she really had no idea what was happening with Thanos
The Pepper stuff with Tony about the kid felt like it was setting up for Tony to lose Peter. Strange comments about their relationship, about Peter being his ward, and we already knew that Tony felt he had a responsibility for this kid, which is why he sent him back to earth. Tony is like that one adult male in his life that he looks up to more than anything, so when he died he spoke to him as the only person left and there was just a heart-wrenching moment of him being a scared kid in Tony's arms. And from one perspective you could say Tony felt what it was like to lose a child and someone who you promised to look after and who trusted him to look after him.
As someone who doesn't watch trailers or read comics, simply amazing movie from start to goddamn finish. Idk wtf "the snap" is but watching the movie it made perfect sense.
Sitting here watching this review @ 5:12 am Easter time haha .. the hype was real and this movie was amazing! As always loved the MCU in review guys 🙌🏾
The lead up to this In Review since January and they went at it with “an old school KF Review” style. This really needed a plot recap and less of Kevin hating on people who didn’t agree with him haha. Redo this with the plot but keep the ranking the same.
I wish there were more interactions between characters, strange/stark/Parker meeting, Guardians/Thor meeting and guardians/earth team meeting were some the best bits. I found myself getting a bit bored during the two final fights and the earth segments but at the same time what was happening was really cool. I really loved that surprise cameo and the end credits scene.
I feel like maybe I'm just cynical, but none of the "deaths" at the end had any emotional impact to me, because there's already planned sequels for some of those characters. So it seems very obvious to me that they'll be brought back. Overall I enjoyed it, it just didn't effect me the way it seems to have some people.
KurisuThe Ninja are the upcoming movies confirmed “sequels” to infinity war? The spider-man and black panther movies could easily be based on event before infinity war
I agree as soon as I saw Black Panther and Spider-Man turn to ash my emotional response completely dropped. When Bucky turned to ash I felt something because he’s not a lead character so they should’ve only turned like supporting characters to ash. Although they could technically pass on the Black Panther mantle to Shuri or someone else.
The Spidey and Panther sequels take place before IW. I don't think the ending was suppose to be shocking as in "oooh who's gonna stay dead? Tune in next year to find out!" I think that was the Russo brothers saying, "look, none of the OG Avengers turned to dust, so the next movie will be their last time to shine together in one final movie as their big send off. We're getting rid of the new kids for now to focus on the OG guys having a good ending."
I must admit, I was a bit salty and shocked that this movie wasn't a self contained story and that it ended so openly. People like Captain America had so little development and screen time compared to how much he was advertised for example. I also think Thanos henchmen needed more build up from the other movies. But after letting all the things sink in, I do think the movie was great as a part 1. As a self-contained movie, it is probably one of the worst in the series, but that is to be expected with so many characters involved.
I almost thought at the end it was somehow going to indicate that Infinity War part two would be the very next movie and that all the marketing and announcements were misleading
There were a couple of moments when I thought that certain things didn't make sense, and I felt that Cap didn't get enough screen time. But I gotta say, Tony Stark at the end made my heart break. Also the parallels of Vision and Gamora asking the people they loved to kill them to save everyone, and Wanda and Peter fail despite trying. That was good.
Just saw it a second time. Not sure what changed for me but I enjoyed it a lot more. Some of my complaints were things I didn't catch first time around because it was such a quick movie. Thors side plot did drag for me a bit and still don't like all the humor but very much enjoyed the second viewing compared to the first
Quick mention to the Willhelm Scream when Squidward gets shot out the spaceship. Multi-million dollar movie yet THAT is where they choose to cut costs.
I loved the movie and while I wish a few character's got a few more lines the fact that they made me care about Thanos and made him out to be a person doing what, in his mind, is the only thing that can be done to save the universe and make sure what happened to his people doesn't happen ever again was amazing. I know some character's already have sequels planned, so we know some of them will be back but my guess is, what's left of the hero's will get the Gauntlet, manage to use it, but since it was so damaged, it's going to shatter, ending up in only a partial resurrection of the people we saw die, and the stones are going to either be destroyed, or launched to the deepest corner's of the universe, waiting to be found in the future.
In every sense, this movie was a rollercoaster ride. I was legitimately out of breath when the credits rolled. Thanks for this feature folks! It got me to watch the movies along with y'all and got me to appreciate it all even more.
What makes this film for me is that everyone has a different favourite part, and they all make sense. For me it’s the fight on Titan with the team up but I see why all Thor’s scenes could be or even the first fight! This film was bloody amazing, I refused to get hyped beforehand and I’ve got all the hype now!
In the Infinity Gauntlet series the reason Thanos eventually failed according to Adam Warlock was because of Thanos subconsciously not feeling worthy to succeed. Coming out of the movie I was left wondering if they’ll play up on that in the next film. Specifically because the original MCU Avengers all survived. It seems too coincidental that they specifically lived. Is leaving them Thanos way of leaving someone to stop him.
That wasn't Hugo Weaving. Considering the reports he hated the makeup and the voice sounded off.... the only news I found about Red Skull is that Ross Marquand from The Walking Dead (Aaron) played Red Skull.
My definitive list, in order obviously: Spiderman: Homecoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier Guardians of the Galaxy Captain America: Civil War Avengers: Infinity War Thor: Ragnarok Guardians of the Galaxy: vol 2 Iron-Man Dr. Strange Black Panther Avengers Ant-Man Captain America Avengers: Age of Ultron Iron-Man 3 Iron-Man 2 Thor Incredible Hulk Thor: The Dark World
mywalterppk Darth Vader has no motivations and is only significant in his relationship to Luke. Thanos is an independent character (honestly should have been thr central character).
Shout out to greg and Andy ranking this movie correctly while Tim and Kevin were still drowning in the hype train, this was not better than Thor:rag or spiderman.
two hours and forty minutes of stellar filmmaking
Avi p I freaking loved it

Kevin: "That's why there's life there."

Dan S, thanks for the insightful input! I just love having a nice discussion with rational people! Have a great day!
Josh Brolin is just fantastic. He's a national treasure. Did you see him in MIB3? He played young agent K and was great in that too. I thought he was also good as Cable in Deadpool 2. Such a great actor.
The ending had me in tears. And the way Spider-Man begged not to go.
Kevin cortez that bit got me so bad :(
They always manage to sell the fuck out of these scenes. We all know Spider-Man is fine, but that boy Tom Holland came to play with that fantastic acting. Shit fucked me up.
such a coincidence that he lived long enough to make that scene instead of fading away like everyone else
That was what fucked me up
Same dude. So hopeless. I felt it!
Most everyone that died from the snap went immediately without realizing what was happening, the salt in the wound for peter is that him ‘not feeling so good’ was probably just his spider-sense warning him he was about to die. He probably felt his death more than anyone else.
Coming back to this and hearing how many times you guys say “Endgame” with zero knowledge of that being the final film title is tripping me out lol
Haha I know. Same with the topics that brought up, pretty much everything was shown in Endgame. 👍
Not to mention the first thing Greg says is "On your left", it made me double check the video title
I think Avengers 4 will start with Clint in his house and his family fading away.
I see that as a end credits scene with each movie between this and avengers 4 setting up the modern day world.
That my prediction for Ant-Mans post credits
I hate you for this comment... I cant handle it lol. Thor, Iron Man, Captain America are all so broken after losing everything. Now you wanna add Clint? Cant handle that....
SHIT he has like 4kids? and a wife that at least 2 kids and a wife gone.....
Dennis Löfgren you're still awake
It's midday here lol, of course I'm awake.
Dennis Löfgren true
Oh man, only 59 mins... was hoping for much longer hah
Hawk49er same man
No Greg telling the plot shortened it down. Hope they review it again when it's out on dvd/bluray and Greg does the plot
Eh, no recap is possible so it’s really the same amount of discussion
Coming back to this four years later and I enjoy every second of it. I don't think I will ever have a cinematic experience like I did with Infinity War ever again
@GuyInCLE Let us hope!
it's 3 a.m. and I have been refreshing for half an hour just to find out it was posted 20 minutes ago and the refresh wasn't working lol
16BitsOfAwesome true but it doesn't work half the time.
My biggest complaint was that Cap’s story felt underdeveloped. Everything else could not have been better.
Movies in Minutes yeah I barely remember anything he says/does
Reecethebest I feel like he had 3 lines the entire movie.
Movies in Minutes stop forgetting we get part II one year from now. This film was only part 1
Hulk/Bruce Banner sucks....he talks too much to the point he acts like a clown
*MAJOR FUCKING SPOILER*
Well also his third movie was Civil War AND him and Tony never even shared the screen, they'll be plenty of time for Cap to chew the scenes in the next.
The funniest thing is that Nick freaks out about wigs and I never see anything. At least half the time I think there's no wigs at all.
the movie was perfectly balanced, as everything should be. the pace was perfect thanos was perfect, the action was perfect 10/10 my only complaint is that thanos didn't think to use the time stone to stop thors hammer from stabbing him.
I think that takes a lot of power to do, and maybe he wasn’t strong enough to do it when he was stabbed? Just a guess idk
Dan S 10/10 you get a grip dc bitch boy
Bricks Accomplice I think maybe the hammer is invulnerable to the stones? Hence why it was able to push back all of the energy. At least that's what I figure.

They should keep doing the plot recap because (IMO) they were all over the place in this review, great video though.
Love the cap and thor sence
9:21 “Peter Quill was so fucking great in this movie.”
Yea he was really fucking great when he caused the death of half the universe.
L0uie Del Bx but Thanos snap the finger. He could stop it but he was not the one snapping the finger
ikr wtf?

Michael Gomez And so enters The Last of Us and Infinite Warfare, two games that somehow tell the story of Infinity War better. What a time to be alive

It couldn't possibly stand alone after 18 movies of buildup, thats just a casualty of order, not its own fault
How the fuck is the Spider-Man Homecoming review 2 hours and a half & Infinity War under in Hour...
I watch too much KF content. When Cap appeared the first time my first thought was “oh shit, it’s Greg Miller” and I had to hold in a laugh lol.
30:38 Nick "Whats the endgame" lol
I can’t wait til see what kinda funny reviews Next(I just started watching) I hope they keep doing film reviews
Hell of a ride boys! Glad I was able to come along! Great content!
Film delivered on every level it's crazy we are even at the point where this can be a real thing and actually be good can not wait for Captain marvel now

Hey homies, the Pepper Pots + Tony Stark scene was foreshadowing for Spider-Man's death. After Homecoming, Tony views Peter as an apprentice/son.
I feel like I need to go watch the Guardians 2 review. I think it's the only MCU movie I finished not having enjoyed it but you guys have it so highly.
That bicep when Thor opens the iris. Holy crap. I gasped
That's how I felt during Civil War when Cap grabs the helicopter.
I can't believe you didn't do a recap for this, it was my favourite part of those reviews :(((
Its after 4am Friday in NYC and I waited up all night from my 6pm Thursday showing for this.
Best way to describe my emotions after watching: STUNNED DISBELIEF, reminded me of Last Jedi & Dark Knight Rises (the good versions of those films)
I honestly came here for the reactions lol You guys are great, even though I could care less about this film!!!
Going to see this in about two and a half hours :))))))) excited to watch the rest of your review when I get home.
Holy fuck Greg looks fantastic!!!! Also Tim your beard is amazing my dude.
I’m so psyched to be watching this! Been waiting for this upload!
Tom Holland hit puberty at 21 I guess.
GorTheMovieGod we all gotta start sometime.
I actually don't think the people who dissolved died, but rather got trapped in the Soul Stone
melbye that’s what I was thinking.
I thought that's how it worked too tbh
They did get trapped in the soul stone
I think Thanos' limp was real, but I don't think it had to do with Thor. I think the use of the stones like that screwed him up a bit. His right arm in that last scene looks kinda messed up. Not just the glove.
Gamora isn't dead.
Her soul is trapped in the soul gem.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 will be about Peter Quill trying to find a way to get her back and Adam Warlock will be the one to help with it.

peter is dead right?
Yeah, he turned to dust.
Here's my rank so far.
1: Avengers Infinity War

7: Thor Ragnarok
8: Guardians of the Galaxy 1

13: Ant Man
14: Age of Ultron
15: First Avenger
16: Iron Man 2

As someone who doesn't watch trailers or read comics, simply amazing movie from start to goddamn finish. Idk wtf "the snap" is but watching the movie it made perfect sense.
I really want people to keep in mind that we get PART TWO to this film - one year from today. This is a 2 part story. This was only the first half.
Nicholas Bolgioni Except for the fact that Marvel specifically said that it's not a 2 part movie
Tim Nick, Harry Potter next please

Sitting here watching this review @ 5:12 am Easter time haha .. the hype was real and this movie was amazing! As always loved the MCU in review guys 🙌🏾
The lead up to this In Review since January and they went at it with “an old school KF Review” style. This really needed a plot recap and less of Kevin hating on people who didn’t agree with him haha. Redo this with the plot but keep the ranking the same.
Everyone in the theater was crying at the end lol.
This is the 13th times I have either listened or watched this review from end to end. Thank you
I wish there were more interactions between characters, strange/stark/Parker meeting, Guardians/Thor meeting and guardians/earth team meeting were some the best bits. I found myself getting a bit bored during the two final fights and the earth segments but at the same time what was happening was really cool.
I really loved that surprise cameo and the end credits scene.
Guys I really want the plot section for this movie
Infinity war is a combination of Empire strikes back, Deathly Hallows part 1 and Lord of the Rings Return of the King. It’s phenomenal
Watching this movie I realized that Nick IS Drax.
This movie reiterates to me that the Guardians, Thor, and Spider-Man are the best parts of the mcu.
That's your fault for keeping too much up on movie news. The kids sitting behind me didn't know that news.
The Loki, Gamora and Vision ones still affected me
The Spidey and Panther sequels take place before IW.
We're getting rid of the new kids for now to focus on the OG guys having a good ending."
thank god we still get kinda funny in reviews. my favorite podcast
Shoutout to Thor and Kratos becoming one through that axe
Amen, brother
Thanos, I’ve come to bargain.
I thought he was going to say that at some point for some reason.
Been with you from the start, I disagree with your rankings lol
But that's the fun
Xmen films next please
I was hoping against hope that Coulson would show up, but having Red Skull show up was even better
I almost thought at the end it was somehow going to indicate that Infinity War part two would be the very next movie and that all the marketing and announcements were misleading
I don’t know what’s more sad, Peter fearfully crying to Tony, or the ending of this series :,(
MCU in review has been amazing, thank you!
Said that to my friend last night...post credits, Wasp crumbles.
Wow Greg looks so different without the glasses. But I like that this is done by the bearded avengers
Let's go! I loved this movie, I think it's my favourite MCU film. Can't wait to hear your verdicts
uploaded at 3 am? worth the wait!
Just saw it a second time. Not sure what changed for me but I enjoyed it a lot more. Some of my complaints were things I didn't catch first time around because it was such a quick movie. Thors side plot did drag for me a bit and still don't like all the humor but very much enjoyed the second viewing compared to the first
I don't use reddit and doubt this will be seen, but do an in review of all the Bond movies! Now that is a colossal undertaking as well.
Quick mention to the Willhelm Scream when Squidward gets shot out the spaceship. Multi-million dollar movie yet THAT is where they choose to cut costs.
Thank god I've been waiting for this!
Just to let you guys know... this has been the fucking highlight of the last several months..awesome job and thanks for the entertainment.
The best marvel movie, thanos is awesome.
You guys need to take it further with this series. Do the TV stuff as well. Make a COMPLETE MCU IN REVIEW with all things MCU pls
This is my second most anticipated video for me today 😉
My definitive list, in order obviously:
Spiderman: Homecoming
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Guardians of the Galaxy
Captain America: Civil War
Avengers: Infinity War
Thor: Ragnarok
Guardians of the Galaxy: vol 2
Iron-Man
Dr. Strange
Black Panther
Avengers
Ant-Man
Captain America
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Iron-Man 3
Iron-Man 2
Thor
Incredible Hulk
Thor: The Dark World
I like what one other guy said, "Thanos is today's Darth Vader". Such a great villain.
mywalterppk Darth Vader has no motivations and is only significant in his relationship to Luke. Thanos is an independent character (honestly should have been thr central character).
Shout out to greg and Andy ranking this movie correctly while Tim and Kevin were still drowning in the hype train, this was not better than Thor:rag or spiderman.
DarkestInstinct Spider-Man isn’t even close to the best in the MCU
Lol please
Less than an hour!!! I was expecting like 4 hours! Wish you'd done the full story recap.
