  • His victory in The Rising Sun was arrogant.
His win in the Sunshine Sprint was freakish.
What will Leap To Fame do to his rivals in the Blacks A Fake?

Head and shoulders better than any other horse I've seen live in 44 years of watching the sport. Amazing horse.

I've been an avid fan of harness racing like yourself for a long time. I'm at 33 years myself. Leap to Fame could turn into the best horse I've seen also. I will save my opinion until after he wins more big races on the grand circuit against open class pacers. Ability wise I can't split him or Lazarus at the same point as 4 year olds.

@@Souljah2008 since I wrote that comment Dixon's tactics in the Black's A Fake and the Eureka left a little bit to be desired. Big chance in the Vic Cup from barrier 4 for a runaway win. I agree, he needs to win more grand circuit races.

@@marknorris1381 I hear you mate. I've loaded up on him too!👍 We will see something special Saturday night I'm sure coming off the front row. Grant got a flat tyre in the Black's a Fake and he still ran like a beast. 99% of horses would've been tailed off. And he did all the bullocking work in the death chair and nearly won whilst hammering the rest of the field and taking nothing away from a top class mare in Encipher. She ran a world record for the mare over 2400 metres and it could've also been the quickest final half at that distance also. I know she broke the track record at Menangle. His half brother that won the Black's a Fake is running at Menangle so I've loaded up in a double also.

@@marknorris1381 Tell me about it! I knew as soon as Rock N Roll Doo got to the front it was going to be really tough sitting on the outside. Grant would've been better off leaving the ear plugs in and just floating off the arm and staying in the running line then making his move to go up and park mid race. Rock N Roll Doo was setting some quick fractions up front. Even though I lost alot of cash Leap To Fame was still very brave but I don't think he's better than Lazarus as if im being honest. Look at his Victoria Cup win as a 4 year old. I've got a feeling Leap To Fame will win the Interdominion final and he's out to $2.50 now from even money.

I knew this horse was a freak of nature from early on in his career. His NSW Derby win was absolutely spectacular! The way he ran down the second favourite down the Menanagle straight was awesome!🔥! That finishing speed he showed that night was something truly to behold.

Im really happy for Grant Dixon to train and drive a once in a lifetime horse in the shape of the mighty Leap to Fame. He's a gentleman and a credit to the sport. I felt the exact same way when another gentleman and credit to the sport from over the Tasman Sea Mark Purdon was training and driving another once in a lifetime horse in the form of the equally mighty Lazarus.

Let’s remember those that die on the track and the many that don’t even make it to the track that simply don’t make the grade🧐🥲
