Every time I listen to "Blumenkranz" I almost cry when it comes to that part when almost all instruments stop playing and there are the leading singer and the choir singing (almost) a'capella. And I'd say I'm as delighted after hearing your cover. Great job! :)

Why failed? The word fail does not exist. Maybe you can't play it at the moment but just train don't fix to much on one song. Play whenever you like and you'll notice sometimes, that you can play much better. The time is just a illusion It's important what me make out of this. Oh man, I can actually feel the pedal this time. The contrast between 1:05 and 1:08 really stands out. 1:08 to 1:31 sounds kinda dry, though. Even during the frenzy after 1:47, I can really hear the energy through your left hand (especially those driving sixteenths; they really make this arrangement a thing), but I don't know-your right hand just doesn't seem to be as excited. Similarly, after 2:27, it seems too strong/solid and not as delicate as I thought you might've wanted it to sound. I think 3:01ish is the only time you really channel your energy through your right hand, but the left hand was just amazing throughout. I kinda feel like you put all your concentration into your left hand instead, and it somewhat shows. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing; I enjoyed this arrangement very very much.

Since I watched episode 16, I've been waiting for my favorite UA-cam pianists to cover this song! Blumenkranz and the new opening (Ambiguous) are INCREDIBLE pieces for the AWESOME new episodes! Can't wait to see the episodes leading up to the finale and the finale, and can't wait to hear all the new music and your covers of it
Maik, you did such a great job on bringing Blumenkranz to the piano-only party! As someone who tried doing similar thing (using excerpt from some episode instead of OST track) - while obviously being much less skilled - I think I appreciate your work even more. Many clever little details you put in the sheet and performed on the piano. Kudos for that! But I have one complaint. While you did justice to important part beginning at 1:08 [bar 25] (1:12 in original), I cannot say the same thing about your execution of the most important theme within Blumenkranz, i.e. Ragyo theme (the theme played whenever she was appearing in episodes [after small intro]). What we hear starting from 1:42 [bar 37] (2:00 in original) is not as striking as it should be IMHO. It's like you used most of your most epic techniques already and there is not much you can do to bring really new awesomeness there. Don't get me wrong, it still sounds great nonetheless, but expectations were and are even higher for that part. :) First issue is 2 bars later, where you left your left hand in C minor dimension. Without switching to A-flat major listener gets incomplete feeling of progression - right hand seems just not enough compared to the catchy phrases used by opposing hand. But the _real_ problem awaits another 2 bars forward. I didn't solve it myself correctly, but your way is lost too, because switching to the vocal voice in right hand (and your readjusting of left hand) ruins the tension that was built up for 4 bars. It needs to be played somehow simultaneously (:P I know, I understand the problem here), i.e. not instead of but next to the old voice. That's it. I hope you don't mind my minor nitpicking, because it doesn't change the fact that I truly like Animenz's piano version of Blumenkranz!

I thought this bridge between the previous ff and the next mp (!) was pretty effectively executed, considering the alternatives (just suddenly leap to a new melody from ff? slowly dimin throughout the entire melody? stop in the middle and start a new section?). Or maybe I just liked it because the echo effect was that cool, lol

I have been playing the piano for 7 years and I learned it in about 2 weeks. If you work on it every you will get it
