Uk one thing about ds2 sotfs i absolutely hate is the last 3 bosses in the main story combined are easier than the soul of cinder. Nashandra is a joke outside of her curse attack and aldia is a cakewalk if u have a shield that blocks 100% physical and fire damage or know how to avoid the fire attacks. Throne defender and watcher are only a threat because of gank.
Maybe because DS2 was more about quantity than quality. The only good things about the game were powerstancing, builds and some very small memorable places (DLC except ivory ice place may it rot)
Max level in DS2 seems weak compared to DS1. In DS1 you're passively gaining defense with each level which makes you a huge unbeatable tank. You gain defense here too but you can still get destroyed. And you can only do this much damage I mean thats not a lot for a max level.
I know that Jabba the Hutt can't be considered a boss at all because he's more like a mid level foe to beat in 3 hits, BUT The Big Zombie Rat-Dogo, Mytha, the Giant Lord, the Ancient Dragon and specially the DARKLURKER are indeed bosses way better than the twin dragon-riders who also are more like a mid level pair of bastards to fight on... Like how the flexile sentry is before the shrine of winter.
it also helps to get behind bosses and hit them so you dont just hit their shield and do no damage then get hit. you are bad at rolling so if you just hug their body and rotate around them you will dodge 80% of their attacks without having to roll. or you can stay out of range and get them to attack then walk back in their range and hit them without having to roll and it would actually be faster to wait for an opportunity instead of getting stun locked going toe to toe with them and hitting eachother with your big sticks.
Not accurate as in, ng+ and beyond, the bosses will do half your health bar, and they have much more health. I dont need to explain as to why this is relevant, as you will not be max level until the end of your first play through, if you want to farm the giant memory.
What would be the point having infinite stamina? Then you can play with hacks too. Dark Souls is all about balancing the perks out to get a op character. I mean that's the point of the game and it's meant to be tough. Or maybe it just isn't for you. I for my part really enjoy the series and finding the right build for each of its parts
@@saschaloggen My guy, I went through DS1 and DS3 a lot of times and I do enjoy both them with their flaws and all. But this one is so terribly unbalanced it hurts. I'm not asking for infinite stamina, but when you max it out you would expect to be able to swing your weapon more than three times without the need to tank the next combo the boss throws at you and that's just not a viable strategy when your character needs to stay still for about thirty minutes to mentally prepare for one sip of estus while being completely vulnerable to everything. Of course you can put on some extra heavy high defense armor, roll like a bag of rocks and be able to tank some hits, but not everyone wants to do that. And if you have to do that or spend 20 minutes on one boss with hit, roll, run strategy, well..
hats off for max level but i think you need to go back to basics. im not the best or anything and everyone has their roadblock bosses but you arent even trying to dodge which would be okay for a build that doesnt get stun locked but you are. and you dont have enemy spacing down with your big weapon. the skeleton chariot fight was hard to watch and you had no estus which means it took all your estus just to get there and at max level you have a lot of estus. i have no idea how much work it takes to max level but i could do better at level 30 with a bastard sword or really any build even slow rolling. i dont expect you to not get hit or die but you still just tank hits til youre one away from death then panic. either way thanks for the upload i didnt even know you could get a gun in the game lol.
