I watched some other videos of people sowing a loop on the other side of the fillo pillow to tie a strap too. I actually ran my string through the tag that is on the Velcro opening and that gets the job done in a pinch.
Are you glad you got the long/wide version? Im around 5, 10 and am worried a regular might feel to short ( i toss and turn and stomach sleep). did It feel worth it to get the bigger size and sacrifice some weight? How tall are you?
I am 6' and could have done ok with the normal length but I do like it up around my head sometimes. The extra width was nice because I tend to move around a bunch at night.
The Nemo Fillo is super comfortable and feels like a pillow at home. It works well if your sleeping bag has a pillow pocket. We have been testing a Trekology Aluft Ultralight pillow and it works well. It is inexpensive and has a strap to go around your sleeping pad (although not as soft at the Fillo).
I use the trekology aluft 2.0 inflatable pillow with pad strap to lock it in place. Game changer! But by using a buff around the pillow, I can adjust the height as needed, with some extra clothing or sit pad, as I'm mostly a right-side sleeper. Brain surgery, left back of my head, it's uncomfortable lying on my 8x10cm hockey stick incision 😝
I have a trekology, simply light designs, BTTHGearCo. and a Nemo Fillo Elite Luxury. I think the most comfortable pillow I have is the Therm-a-Rest Cinch Medium. A little heavier but the most comfortable. I can’t do the inflatables, even the good ones still feel like sleeping on a ballon in my opinion.

Can you recommend a pillow?

@@ExploreTrekAdventure thanks for the quick feedback, I got a Nemo sleeping bag , and it has a pillow pouch
The Nemo Fillo is super comfy but heavier for backpacking. They make a Fillo Elite which doesn’t have the memory foam topper but is very lightweight.
