" Barkeepers Friend " is a great cleaning agent. I've been able to find it pretty easily in most large supermarkets, or Big Box stores. The basic agent, I believe, is Oxalic acid which can be quite corrosive if left on too long. I once made the error of allowing it to" soak " for several hours, and it " pitted " the bottom of the pot. Its a great cleaner, but be certain that the items being cleaned are thoroughly rinsed, as any residue may cause the metal to pit or discolour .
+Seamus3051 Thanks for sharing that. I've never thought about leaving it on too long. I never had a reason to, but thanks. I appreciate the comments and your watching. Take care.
Thanks Seamus 3051...I like to use green leaves to wash many things outside..wondered which leaf would clean soot. Rhubarb leaves are very high in Oxalic acid so they may do the trick. Awesome.
That works good. I tried also sorts of ways to clean, some scratched the pots. I used to scrub them spotless, sadly I have gotten lazy and just given them a quick wash out LOL I may have to give this a shot, Thanks!
Great tip, I’ll get some bartenders friend. Maybe shut off the water next time. I can tell you probably don’t live in in a water deficient area. Lol. Whole time I was thinking great idea great tip. Oh my God the water oh my God the water oh my God the water oh my God the water. Lol.
Like the video, hate the waste of water.
Wow! Thanks for this. I had no idea this product existed and I can't wait to try it out.
I hope it works well for you too. Thanks for watching.

+Lee Ralph (Pathway to Self Reliance) It does work well. Appreciate the comment.
Thank you for showing us what scrubbing looks like, there’s this thing called editing, where you can cut up the clips
There is also a thing called closing a video and moving along, if it doesn't interest you. You are welcome to use that as well. Thanks.

You don't have to scrub if you make a paste, apply and let it sit a while if the soot is caked on. It will rinse right off after about 10-15 minutes.
+Eric Marks Thanks, good to know. I appreciate you watching.
Great tip! 😎👍🏻
+Survive Without I'm really glad it worked out for you. Thanks for watching.
save your self much trouble. Use cooled ashes from your fire mixed with dish soap to make a paste. Use this paste to remove soot and burned residue.
I'll keep that in mind. Thanks
Great tip! 😎👍🏻
Great tip, though I'd just run a bowl of water because it's painful to watch that tap running ;-)
who is the manufacturer of the camping cup you're cleaning?
It is from the Pathfinder Store. I bought the water bottle and cup as a set. I've been happy with them. Thanks for watching.
+Inkman 907 it is from the Pathfinder Store.
Looks exactly like the Solo Stove cup ;)
Can you clean it with titanium pot?
It doesn't work as well on titanium.
