About 12 months ago we did an Android install on a E39 540i that still gets a lot questions about how to install or upgrade different versions of the OEM audio system. Hopefully this video will help everyone understand what's going on with the factory setup and how to tackle upgrading both the head unit and the amps.
Below are some links to the xtrons versions to suit the E38, E39 and E53 models. Just keep in mind with the ultra wide 10" screens some android apps don't display that nicely. Its just not made for such a wide screen, its made for narrow tall phone screens.
