Dedicated to our four-legged Special Operations heroes.
Since the Global War on Terrorism, Military Working Dogs
have played a crucial role within Special Operations.
Known as Multi-Purpose Canines, They're dedicated, fearless and highly trained warfighters capable of operating in the most extreme and austere conditions.
Less than 1% of all Military Working Dogs are selected for Special Operations.
Unlike conventional single-purpose Military Working Dogs, Special Operations K9s specialize in multiple roles, including target tracking and apprehension, bomb detection, crowd control and detecting hidden threats.

I did basic security with a German shepherd when I left the forces. He was my best friend.
This dog is a Belgian Malinois
For those of you that are considering a working dog for yourself and or your family, know one thing, you are his leader, his love, and his life. If you are not willing to take on that responsibility in its entirety, please don't bother.
Amen! Every dog is a huge responsibility! They need and deserve training and excellent care.
Yes..
@@1packatak Yes! And I have trained a few. All have excelled in what was required of them..Take care of your dog, he will do his duty, & then take care of you..
These dogs are for a very few people....I've been decades involved in the DOG LIFE being dubbed The Jersey DogMutha decades ago...I tell folks constantly THESE DOGS ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE....
1000% on point.
Simply said: "Dog and Man were meant to be at each others side". These military canines exemplify the statement. Thank you to all Men. Women and Dogs for your service.
I have serious reservations about anyone who doesn’t love dogs. Absent a traumatic childhood experience, I honestly think it signals some part of their soul is faulty. And anyone who is cruel to them simply doesn’t have one.
😊😊❤❤❤ words cannot describe the language & love between an animal & their human, beyond special
To ALL the military working dogs out there - Thank you for your service❤
Dogs can read?
@@Nyx773cats can type?
@@Nuclear_horseFish can ride a bicycle?
@@bjb7587 Birds can drive a car?
@@dauber1257 well no, but have you seen the video of the orangutan driving a golf cart?
That pic where the K-9’s eyes were obscured to protect his identity…….fucking awesome!😂
I thought the same. :o)
Why wouldn't they? He is an operator.
Yeah in his Delta Force video the dogs eyes are blurred out so they can keep their cover, they are operators just like the humans with much better senses than a human has.
That was great. I had to go back and look at it again. Did I really see that ? Excellent 🇺🇸
that dog operated in africa the population can recognize animal faces like we recognize humans....
I can’t tell you how times these dog saved so many lives in the field. I am one of them. Thank you for there love and service. Oorah!
Then why did we still lose the war?
Happy for you.
Cool story bro.
Thank you for your service!
@@crinklecut3790 Saying you've never served without saying you've never served
“Tonight he saved my life. Tonight he had saved my brother’s lives. “. And all he wants in return is some treats maybe, a good scratching of his scruff, and chasing a tennis ball until your arm almost falls off from throwing it so much. All he wants is love. All of that and to think in times past, when the war was over, these beautiful, loving dogs who worked so hard, were left behind to fend for themselves. It’s heartbreaking to think about it. But the heartbreak is eased now that the military is more humane about the life and welfare of these animals who gave so much but asked for so little in return!!
In the past, sadly they may have been left behind. But now, they are a part of the same team as their human counterparts. They are just as important and usually get to remain with their handler. Finally, our government is doing something right.
I was a SOF MPC handler, and loved every minute of it, and my heart goes out to our service men and animals.
bro it's 2023 we just call them women now. All jokes aside MPC's are the baddest of fighters, and the highest level of loyalty you could ever find. I didn't work with them in my time, other than a few encounters with bomb sniffers, but my nephew is a handler in the Marines and the stories he's told me make me appreciate them even more.
Thankyou for your service
I was a K9 handler for 10 years. No one can begin to understand the bond unless they live it!
I had that amazing bond for 10 years❣️ I had to put my best friend down in January 2024, due to bone cancer in his one remaining hind leg. He made it for 8 years after his first sarcoma diagnosis(hind leg amputation in 2015, followed by chemotherapy and radiation). My heart will never be the same.
Thank you for your service and that of your K9s. They are true heroes!
Those dogs of war in Afghanistan were left behind in a country that hates dogs . Now let that sink in.
These are some of my favorite videos on UA-cam. No corny music with random movie/tv show clips. I love how you use voiceovers from members of the units and real footage.
Sound so fake and made up story using a collage of harvested videos from the internet.
There is a reason they are called man's best friend, loyal unconditional love.
Dear GOD, thankyou for two of your greatest MAMMALS!
Special Forces Warriors & their K9 companions!
Your the tip of the spear, and lots of us are eternally grateful
What a great video. Can I say a thankyou to all who served and put a shout out to the Dogs Merlin, Razz, Andy, Nova, Herbie, Lucky, Quake, Devil, Kuga and Fax who made the ultimate sacrifice for their Australian human brothers in Afghanistan. I don’t think they get recognition enough. Much love
I agree. These dogs are heroes too. They save their human soldiers!
A tragic loss for the soldiers. Thank you for your service from another Australian.
In the photo at 1:34, I like how they blacked out the eyes of the dog but not the handler.
I’ve had several positive experiences with professional dogs- either police or medical dogs and it’s fascinating how intelligent these dogs are. It makes me grateful to the animal and humbled by the people who train them. It’s extremely impressive. 😊❤
In awe of all the special forces, and these amazing dogs!
God bless you all and your families.👏🇦🇺
Man’s best friend. Operators put their life on the line for their dog as the dog would do the same. Love the content Kanutster! Keep it up man!
Thank you all for your service. Much respect for you all.🙏❤️
Totally agree… many of my men, including myself, owe our lives of these brave warriors!
❤️🇺🇸
why not use a robot car instead of a fking dog?
@@JoeyP946 because a robot car can't smell an explosive odor like most of these dogs can. are you fucking stupid? military working dogs main priority is detection of explosives (drugs depending on what its trained in) and patrol (attack aspect) is barely even a secondary requirement for MWD and most aren't trained/qualified to utilize it.
@@JoeyP946 machines can’t go where the dogs can. Machines can’t detect like dogs can. Machines can’t distinguish between children asleep in their beds in the dark and Taliban. There’s nothing like a dog. No thing.
I’m Australian but I Thankyou for your service JP

I wats deployed 4 times to the middle east and 2 times to Africa as a Ranger 2/75. With that being said, i would like to thank those attached to us and with us and their working dogs. I would see their bond and the absolute trust in one another and I can honestly say that all of us admired what we saw. I retired in 2010. I understand now they have them permanently attached to the BNs. I think that's great. Stay safe you guys. Sua Sponte
'The only easy day was yesterday'. Your channel is very inspiring. Thank you for the videos. I'm going through training to enlist in the Indian armed forces as a doctor. If I get through I'll definitely volunteer for SF. I humbly request you to make a tribute video for Para Special Forces of the Indian Army, one of the best in the world. Best regards from India.
Good thing this was only a few minutes long. I got chills and the early welling of tears.
To all the servicepeople and their canine companion, thank you for your outstanding service to our country.
These animals are the most contagious of solders. They charge in without fear of death and with total conviction of duty and command. The saddest thing is animals fighting the wars of man.
This is the 1st time I am seeing something like this. It was absolutely beautiful, inspiring and awesome to see the love and the bond that human and dog share. He is not a dog in these wars but your partner and best friend. God bless all you soldiers all over the world (that includes all the doggy soldiers).
Thank YOU, K9 Benno 😢
We know you’re in a doggo heaven now with all the Goodest of Bois there…. 😇We in the free world will forever be indebted to your sacrifice and loyalty to your handler and country ❤💕🙏
Please don't say doggone it's stupid.
@@silviaconrad8401 I never said doggone. Whose thread are you replying to - surely not mine!!!
Boys not bois. That's an insult to them. Learn how to spell and be respectful.
Our hearts go out to all the marines - what a tough and mental hardship you all go through.
Hearts go out to the military dogs as well - how wonderful they are to be there to help so much in tough times.
You all do an unbelievable job.
God bless you all! ❤️❤️👏👏🦮👌
This was so inspiring. I love dogs and it is so heart warming to see them saving our family members who are in the military. Thank you to all who serve!
Man and Operators best friend! HUGE respect for our Military and especially the Operators... and much love to their 4-legged partners in the field!
Thank you for your service! K9 military and K9 police working dog deserve much, much more than we currently afford them. I watch in wonder how they work and how absolutely fearless they are. You and your handlers are incredible. ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful share..THANK YOU, TO ALL OUR MILITARY, AND THEIR WONDERFUL DOGS...❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is so awesome. The soldier and the canine elite forces saved our lives too. Thank you!!!
This Nana is so grateful for you and your dogs. Thank you
JC Ryan wrote a series of books under Rex Dalton that highlights “Digger”, the military K9. These are extraordinary animals! Excellent vid!
Wow! my word all I can say is thank you. I’m glad BOTH of you are safe. Thank you both for your service
Thank you for reminding us. It’s never just a dumb dog. They all have a hearts bigger than 10 men and 15 woman. 🐕❤️🇨🇦
Thank you for your service to our Country. Special forces amazing people and dogs too. Praying for your safety.❤❤USA USA 🇺🇸.
Special forces are the best we have in our military community. God Bless them all.
I still remember sitting on the couch watching the news when Osama Bin Laden was killed and they reported that SEAL Team 6 ( now just part of DEVGRU) were ones who did it. I was texting back and forth with my brother and I asked him “Who or what's SEAL Team 6?” and he just said “I don’t know, but they’re the best we we’ve got.”
My son is Special Forces promoted today to Major. I’m incredibly proud of him. ❤
Thank You

Somehow they're all too often not mentioned...

That fact so many people in this comment section can say they have witnessed countless life’s including themselves saved been that absolute elite dogs just goes to show how powerful they are.
Welcome back
We missed em didn’t we
That HALO dog jump pic at 2:00 is super cool. Whoof
As owner of a Dutch shepherd all I can say is - bring them home safely. Dutchies and Malinois breeds were nearly wiped out in WWII and its taken a long time to bring back their numbers. I also say this as a former Cdn. Armed Forces artillery combat vet.
And to the dogs that provide service, companionship and emotional support to our vets that do return. More dogs are needed to fulfill the struggle of returning back home, physically and mentally challenged with broken bodies, broken minds and broken hearts. Love and respect.
Boy time we give these boys some props
Respect, full salute. Thank you for your service, not just the men and women of the forces the service dogs too, past and present.
These dogs are relatives from another world here to protect and love us they deserve every bit of live respect and guardian from Us as possible 😊
Okay...the black strip over the dogs eyes in that one photo was absolutely f'ing hilarious !!!
Sick one bro!!! You never disappoint 🙌 The dogs are every ounce as badass as the soldiers, so glad they're recognized. Keep getting it🙏🤘👊🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Cruellest thing God ever did was giving Dogs such a short life !
That is so true.
I found a story that explains this, sorry it’s long:
“Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.
I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.”
As they made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told the vet that they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.
The next day, the vet felt the familiar catch in his throat as Belker‘s family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that the vet wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. They all sat together for a while after Belker’s Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that dogs’ lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, “I know why.”
Startled, they all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned the vet. He had never heard a more comforting explanation. He says that it changed the way he will try and live.
“People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life - like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right? Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay for as long as we do.” 🐾♥️🐾
That is so beautiful. I am ashamed I forget the dogs that are as much of a unit and risk everthing to protect them. Thank you. God bless the dogs that risk their life to save our sons, daughters, mothers and fathers. God bless our military and their families.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Love this! Love our four legged warriors!! Very proud of their service! Thank you!
Interesting that it was only one breed... The Belgian Malinois.
Rotweilers, Dobermans, Molosus-breeds, American Pitbulls, Kangals, Corsos, Caucasian Bear-dogs... they're all fearsome breeds....
but it looks like we designed the perfect man-killing dog: the Malinois.
The breed has incredible intelligence (eg: knows when to stay quiet), fantastic prey-drive (high-speed chaser), surprising bite-force (for not being a molossian), well-known athleticism (jumping, crawling, etc...), and a lovable human-like personality, to boot.
Perfect dog for the role.
Respect to all the 2 legged warriors as well as the 4 legged ones.
Goose bumps all over. I love my dogs❤
A friend is a trainer of these dogs for the US Army and I am always so mesmerized by his dogs. Having worked at training a golden for show that alone was hard, cannot imagine the time and energy put into these hero’s.
I will never understand why a dog will put itself in danger for a Man. We are not worthy of them SO many times.😓
Maybe YOU are not worthy.
@@centurione6489 we are not worthy of the dog's loyalty because we are not as loyal as them, simple as that. To wolves, family is everything, and to dogs, we are everything. They will literally run into a fire to save us, and not every human would do that for their dog.
You’re right. We’re not worthy. Our best friends are far more honorable and deserving of total devotion than we are.
So true
Utterly fearless
Nothing like the loyalty of a Dog. Can’t say anymore.
Military dogs are treated amazingly. Upon injury they are taken for care. Where sildiers are transported there are also veterinary doctors for any wounded service dogs
Wow! That video was something else. Very expressive. God bless you and your K9 counterparts for protecting us. ✌️
Thank you so much! God bless your K9 and team. I support our military 100%. We have history of family members who served our county.
Loving that dog more than yourself? ABSOLUTELY!!.
Thank you to all who serve 🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love it. When it comes to our fur families its a whole different thing. Like we feel/have it in a special place in our hearts just for them. They never betray n have only love. Greatest Chanel on UA-cam for these type of vids.
In the 1970s, my grandmother was looking for a guard dog. She found a giant breed German Shepherd who had flunked out of special forces training school but was still an excellent civilian companion. She named him Caesar. He was the most loyal and dedicated dog I have ever known. He weighed nearly 150 lbs and was the size of a pony. Solid muscle and fiercely protective of her. We loved him so much.
WOW!
What a well put together piece of film you've done for us to watch, I don't think I've ever been so moved.
As you say, dogs are fearless, as well as being a handler's best friend.
Because of this loyalty they will gladly put themselves first and show companionship towards the handler and the group.
The recognition for them is so justified. I think a trained dog could pass SF training easily, as long as his handler was by his side. Less we forgot them all.
Beautiful story, just beautiful. Thank you and Reno, and god bless! I have a German Shepherd K-9, and I love her so much, I will always protect and save my girl as she would always protect and save me. The love and dedication I get from her is why I love and dedicate myself to give her the same. Much love to all these trainers, handlers, and military and law enforcement k-9s.
Superhero Animals. ❤ both Dog and Soldiers.

Jocko is so the perfect narrator.
I had no idea Special Forces had dogs! These dogs would absolutely love what they do. Their bond with handlers and teams would be far deeper than civilian pet owners would ever know. Risk yes, ‘abuse’ no.

Thank God for these 4 legend HERO'S...And more importantly they can now enjoy a good life after their service to our country...WELL DONE ON THE VIDEO...
There is a special place in Heaven for these Men , and Dogs. Love and Respect.::::::::::
Thank you for putting your life on the line for us!!!
Thank You.
God Bless you Brother 🙏! I was a trainer and handler some 45 years ago, we took the sentry dogs of old and strarted training them into the skilled combat weapons they are today! We were worshipped by our fellow service members for what we brought to the fight! Detection and takedown was glorified! I had a buddies K-9 take 17 stab wounds (Malinois) never came of the bite! Arcos survived! Scumbag didn’t!
