Despite the technical problems in the execution, the concept of this concert was at least a decade ahead ot its time. Considering this was '82, not even the most competent technician at the time could've had the wherewithal to keep up. As a multimedia artist, I know all to well the pitfalls of techology. I've had a couple of disasterous shows but still the concept was good. What determines a good artist is often more their failures than their successes. It reveals their essential humaness.
I was at the filming of one of their shows for some Halloween special and ended up sitting in front of that puppet, I'm looking for the video as well... It was filmed at Knott's Berry farm in L.A.
I was at the show at the Palladium in NYC on this tour. Awesome show, no technical difficulties. Great memories. Thanks Devo!

Devo and the Black Keys...Akron, Ohio...just up the road from me. Thumbs up!
This mystery dancer that crashed the stage... I love it how at 3:30 Mark glances at them and was like "who are you??"
She should have been brought as a regular stage presence...she was jamming...if you watch her dancing....that is not easy to do...
"them?"
clearly a woman you ding dong
The crazy dancer was unplanned. Check out 3:25 on this cool song. Jerry is asking a roadie to take care of her.

3:14 Jerry does a literal double take when he sees the girl dancing on stage!
