Dude, I've recently started taking runescape somewhat seriously, and I've been so overwhelmed and lost. This is exactly what I've needed for like a month. Cheers!
oh wow, thank you so much for this - i started OSRS 4 days ago and brought membership today as i felt i was missing out on quite a bit of content and i immediately felt very lost but you've literally laid it all out for me!
I’m really close to finishing out the last couple F2P quests and have been going back and forth on if I should get membership or not. This guide has pushed me into the member camp I think
Game is 100x better with membership. If you’re spending the time to finish those quests, I would get membership as soon as you can, even if you aren’t done with the F2P quests. There’s so many things that it unlocks that you can still do and use within the F2P portion of the map.
will tell ya. ik this comment is a year old but for others reading this. a day of following a quest guide on members world, will get you further than a week on f2p
I have played osrs on and off for years. Since I was 11 or so and I’ll be 29 in a few days now. I was playing before it was called old school.. and this video has even helped me with some things. Great job m8
Funny, I just did the Fremmenik Isles quest and got that helmet. But I've only been playing for a month so maybe I'm not too far off. On vacation so I've been doing a few quests in the morning and trying different minigames in the evening. For my part, the most important part is to enjoy myself so I don't tire of the game. There's so much content left and that makes me excited for what's to come.
I recently started really playing runescape and decided that I wanted a membership before all my f2p skills got too much higher than the member ones, and I was instantly overwhelmed. Spent a full hour after I got it checking the wiki for stuff before I even really did anything with the membership. This video really helped though, and I feel a lot less lost and overwhelmed now, so thank you for this!
Lol I’m 2253 total and still watched this whole thing 😭 great video though I’ll plug this to any new player that needs help. The game is so overwhelming and I wish I had a video like this when I first started. Great job, great production, and I liked the cheeky little comedy you add in here too(like the noob stats with 99 slayer)
@@Dicerz no problem man keep them coming I just subscribed. Maybe you can do a video for guys my level? Like what to do after max, how to avoid burnout, guides for having fun again, best pets to go for, how to get into PKing, etc
You can buy amulets of glory and sell the discharged for same price or more at the ge. And for example a ring of dueling is better to high alch when it is on last charge.
@@iPhone-su8li I actually started playing OSRS since watching this video. No-lifed it for a couple of months and got 126cb, 99 combat stats, quest cape etc. May have to now give RS3 a try!
For the cannonballs money making I kinda missed the double ammo mould. Half the afk time but double the profits. And missed the Ava's devices, pretty important for ranged training!
I absolutely love this video! thank you so much! Just got membership and was really overwelmed, Im gonna follow this to a T and then I'll make my own path thank you Dicerz
Super helpful, started playing osrs on my mobile after not playing for like 10+ years and was sorta on the fence about buying a membership but this video convinced me, thanks a lot
as a new player that hasnt ever seriously played (i did when i was a youngin’) this is pretty convincing. gonna finish all f2p quests and get member for all the quests, first day ive noticed how many more quests members get. and just new stuff in general
This kind of content is what will make runescape immortal. Great to see some form of 'Meta' for a standard runey member. I remember my first account was just some form of disgusting main, 968 total level or so. This was around 2008-9. My first real account that had some form of ultimate goal was a 45 def zerker, still my main to this day. Had the goal of being a zerk and dominating edgeville, the quests required to be a standard zerk included RFD, anywho, cheerio.
I like how your videos fit together with one another. You just got F2P'ers a bond and stats with Bryophyta, now you're giving them starter membership tips... I see what you've done.
New members dont forget about house teleports and world 330 house party. You can use every jewelry teleport, spellbook teleport, spirit tree, and fairy rings. Plus you get a pool for a full recharge on health, prayer, and run energy from the pool in the house.
I think 1 of the best item you could get is the Ardougne cloak which give you a prayer regen teleport and a nearby fairy ring which is good if you don't have a good house
I really enjoy the videos since I know I can direct people to these kinds of videos for advice. I also just like the videos I find them entertaining even though I have played on and off for years.
I started my account nearly two years ago and I remember stumbling into a money maker early on that really set me on the fast track to where my account is now. Because the market is on some speculative crazy shit all the time, for WHATEVER reason people were buying full waterskins in bulk for like 300 gp each. Shantay sells them for 30gp each, slowly increasing to maybe 60gp if the stock is low. But thankfully he's right next to a bank chest. So I had him tagged on runelite, would buy 15-20 waterskins, and world hop. Empty my inv in the chest right there, and continue. Talk about absurd profits. Literally 10x my investment and I could grab a full inventory in what, 20 seconds including world hops and banking? I can't remember the exact gp/hr I was netting but it was something nutty like 2m gp/hr with no quest, item, or skill reqs.
always on the lookout for stuff like this! People find them and then a year later its forgotten too :) I used to do something similar with fruit when i wanted to turn my brain off
I got back into RS a few years ago since 2007. Literally the only think I would suggest is just go through the optimal quest guide. I got my quest cape and had such a great account. Lots of money and great stats
Great video, I’m gonna probably watch it a couple times. I’m in love with RuneScape, but this is the first time I’ve made it to the “okay it’s time to get stuff done” stage of the game and I’m here for it.
Good morning/evening Dicerz I say a video by someone I thought I heard Jagex is bring beekeeping/honey making in the game have u heard anything thanks 😊
Just made an account a week ago (of any RuneScape ever). As soon as I start one of these newbie vids, I feel lost like 30 seconds in once the creator starts naming off things/places/etc. So I go back to the game and try to free ball it, get a little something done, then watch Framed and become overwhelmed again. Is this the osrs experience?
This is exacly what I was looking for, if you dont mind my opinion, would kindly make a efficient quest order? I would love that, the one I found was from 2019, and TOA too, ty, keep the good content, cheers.
I’ve recently started getting back into OSRS using my iPad my account from years back is range pure 78 range 1def I’m just wondering if to enjoy anything mid game pvm that defence level has to go up ? Safe spotting is all I’ve done 😂
I made a new account and have been forcing myself to level up a few skills I never bothered working on too much before. And generally doing things I never cared too much before I got 70 agility, 66 herblore, my full graceful and got 100% in all kourend houses for the white recolor. I'm working on getting 55 rune crafting right now. Basically leveling up my stats to the highest quest requirement levels as of now and want to complete the western hard diary eventually.
I came from rs3 (with max cape and most quests done) and still wasnt 100% sure on where to start so I just did what I did on rs3 at first which is cleared f2p content then rushed toward desert treasure to level up magic easier. Just got into osrs a week or so ago and have all reqs but 53 thieving cuz thieving is a bit different to train but got it to 50 so far. Once I do desert treasure itll either be grind magic until 90ish or just full send any quest I can do cuz runelite is OP. Without runelite osrs would not be as easy to get into.
a good next step after these midgame upgrades is to find 1 or 2 friends willing to teach you tombs of amascut. its great for learning more complex combat and a lot of fun to complete, bonus if you pull a purple and make a few mill from the split
The 2 main reasons why I stopped playing is I didn’t have a friend to accompany me and help me through my struggles and I didn’t want to have to fear of losing membership constantly and didn’t wanna buy more since I’m already paying for other stuff
I appreciate the vid! Its disheartening watching other video creators as they throw around "oh yeah this will cost a couple Million to train" like its no big deal... Bro I wouldn't be here if I had millions to buy the skill gains lol.
We’re should I start most of my F2P stats are above 50 my melee are at 65 a piece and 50 prayer any bosses I should take on after I start. Or is that insane

Gosh, Dicerz guides are so cozy and nostalgic. Thanks for getting me back into the game. You are one of the goats of beginner content :)
Thank you! I remember making a beginners money making guide ~15 years ago for the OG RuneScape 2, it's my forte apparently!
It's that amazing accent, and copious amounts of free knowledge that does it for me.

Got me back into Runescape thank you, currently doing a bunch of quests to get past the early agility levels
