For ironmen, you should already be doing some of this before mid game but heres a list: Like in the video get the untradeables e.g fire cape, fighter torso, D defender, Ava's assembler and void Grind out 94 theiving, sucks but I would say mandatory to get into the end game it will give you all the seeds you will ever need from master farmers. Do your farming and birdhouse runs, at least two a day, it takes kess than 10 minuets guys (plant that giant seaweed) kingdom of miscellania, put a spare couple of mill in there every chance you get and put it on herbs keep the favour above 95% and collect once a month. This plus your herb farming patches over time will get that 90 herblore grind Grind out 93 crafting from the giant seaweed you have been planting and mine sandstone in the desert, put it in the grinder for buckets of sand, make lantern lens. It is a long grind so take breaks do it overtime whever you feel like you want to chill and do some skilling. Combat stats like in the video DO SLAYER! you will get 90 plus from just this and make a ton of money to use in kingdom. Pick everything up and alch. You are aiming for 95 slayer. The big money starts to come in at 77 onwards Stop procastinating on quests go do song of the elves (i'm guilty of this) and unlock the gauntlet. Grind out a bofa then range godwars get bandos and a zammy spear, this will help you with the other bosses you need upgrades from to get your bum into raids.
@@Trufffles What I did was blackjack until I could to pyramid plunder then did a mix of both when blackjacking got too much and to break up the grind also you will need to get a pharaoh sceptre for the house so pyramid plunder is worth doing anyways. @@FoulMouthFishing666 okay, maybe in a little bit of time haha def need some raid drops to get up to crystal haha herb runs can def get you blowpipe and dhide tho
If you can't use blowpipe (poor/ironman), msb (i) with rune arrows is better than rune crossbow. Additionally, faster attack speed helps you deal with bats and healers easier
One thing i would recommend to the ranged setup us the Shayien Boots (5). The provide a higher ranged attack (4 vs 3) and some very solid melee defence stats. Lots of pluses for a -1 magic defence item and verg easy to get
Been cruising through the earlyish game enjoying questing and trying to get skills up. No rush, don’t wanna burn out on something I have fun with outside of my job

SO many quests in a lot of games very quickly become. "Wait...why didn't YOU do this ya schmuck?"
You absolutely will burn out eventually, it's the name of the game. I've burnt out half a dozen times on my account at least. Take a break and play something else, maybe a couple rpgs, then I'm right back and grinding harder than before lmao
I feel like this is a good strategy to stop digging myself into a gear rut. I find the main problem mostly being the people gatekeeping you from doing raids just because you don’t have an infernal or what not.
Find a 100+ cb no req cc they are all pretty chill and raids are much more about player skills than gear so get comfortable with cool players and branch out from there

True. At the very least, your progress is permanent (hopefully, because when they migrated my original account to RS3, it nerfed most of my stats somehow).
Been playing rs for a hot min, commped on rs3, and currently starting my osrs journey, everything you said is what I'm doing, i also preach this to so many people, rs3 and osrs, quest cape, achievement dairy's, and slayer are the best ways to get your account well rounded and ready for the end game push. great vid man will recommend this to people because now I don't gotta explain it, I can just send them to your vid.
I recently got my first fire cape, and it was in ranged void gear of all things. I got tired of the caves taking so long and that ended up being my successful attempt.
Some advice: Bloodbark, at present, is roughly equivalent to Ahrims, slightly more defensive for slightly less Magic rating. You can pair it with the Ahrims staff for a slightly budget set up.
Bit of a rant - But I agree I with quest cape. I was stuck comfortably at 175 QP and didn't know what to do to ACTUALLY progress. Not just grind a stat or boss. Going from 175 to 281 QP made my account feel like I progressed more in a month than all "x" thousand hours.
With other games, “end-game” is the content after the main quest, so you aren’t really on the endgame until you get the Quest cape and I think the end of early-game is when you can get Barrows gloves. Mid-game is what’s in between
The achievement diary rewards can be extremely powerful for anything you’d want to do in the game (pvm, skilling, transportation) and should go hand in hand with questing. You’ll eventually want to progress all of your skills to at least 70+. This really doesn’t take too long for most skills and leads you to a ton of QoL unlocks.
Bowfa is an absolute game changer. Definitely recommend grinding for the enhanced seed since you'll learn pvm skills and make good money. Would also highly recommend 99 range as a midgame goal. Super fast to get when chinning and easy to pay for if you have vorkath/zulrah/muspah unlocked
I highly recommend just buying the rune pouch if you can, it’s a massive QoL item for a wide variety of activities, helps basically anywhere you’re using magic and care about inventory space (so a lot of stuff)
It'd be really nice to have low-tier Raids in place of the Midgame Minigame Madness, but I guess people would riot if the pillar of the runescape lore known as... Barbarian Assault... was removed.
People maxed in 2013 Yeah man just play the game and you can be like me People maxed in 2024 Yeah man just get ds2 done camp it for 1000 hours, buy new gear, move to a stronger boss, play for 1000 hours, buy better gear, move to a stronger boss.
Vork and jad are easier than zulrah but if you can do zulrah you can do the first two way easier. Don’t be afraid to spend or “invest” money on skills and better gear. As an old player I have a hard time letting go of my gp for upgrades but there’s no point in hoarding it when you have choices available.
Pick coconuts! Right now picking all 6 trees yields about 80k gp in coconuts. Definitely a later-mid-game incorporation but easy to add to your herb runs and do once a day after you have a few well-placed spirit trees planted.
Focus on combat skills first, then weapons, then armor! I hit my 50th KC in toa last night and the real momey and upgrades are starting to pour in now, but I started with the fang and barrows armor. As soon as you get decent combat stats start runnin some toas with 0 invos, it'll improve your pvm skills everywhere else by a 1000x.
I also got about 85 att and def and then str to 99, that way the attack and def levels go quicker, because strength is the most important skill in melee combat and increases your max hit and dps.
Keep in mind that the recent Hunter's sunlight crossbow with the new antler bolts (moonlight antler bolts are better +60 rng str) is a 3-4 tick weapon, its better than the MSB (i) with amethyst arrows since its 1h.
Bowfa + crystal is 200m now which is a huge leap. If I sold my entire bank I'd be roughly halfway there.. Damn. I also recommend Demonic Gorillas if you get a Black Demons slayer task. They are great profit and also teach you to combine offensive and defensive prayer switching. It helped me a lot when I tried CG for the first time.
what a great video. your good at tellin a story and speak well. im subbing to ya, i look forward to more content bud. *handshake* im buyin what your sellin!!!
Take it at your pace, enjoy the game, do whatever feels fun. Explore quest achieve diaries.. there’s no reaching endgame, is a never ending very fun journey
Im almost 1800 total and 112cmbt and I'm too overwhelmed by content such as raids and certain bosses. I feel like I don't have the skill or focus that so many other plays have and it makes it hard for me to progress. I recently did below cursed sand and unlocked TOA but after watching a yt video I immediately got upset because I felt like it was beyond my skill set
You could go into a 0 invocation entry toa with unlimited attempts and try to learn as you go, most of the enemies are sight readable and not too punishing then
0 Invocation ToA are really just a mechanic check, no BiS or high level stats needed! :) Also, it is the most fun combat activity by far, especially as you can very slowly turn up the invocations. I really suggest tryin it out, its easier than you might think! Watch a guide while doing room for room in a slow pace, and after the 1. run you will have half of the mechanics memorized already :) BTW: I think like you about Bandos :D People say they do like 20-50 KC or even more, and i struggle after like 3-4 KC already and im out of food/potions :P
for TOA literality just send it, go in solo with 0 invocation. There are 4 bosses you can fight in any order, if you die you can retry the fight straight away or leave the toa and reset it fully if you are too low on supplies. The only loss is supplies that you use during the fight. I went in without a guide first, then went back and read guides now that I know the context of the boss fights the guides make a lot more sense.
I wouldn’t say he’s deep endgame. I would say deep endgame is tombs of amascut, chambers of xeric, tob, stuff like that. Vorkath is a good intro boss to prayer switching, movement mechanics (walking during the fireball volley), and swaps (slayer staff for crumble undead). My two cents on it.
He said Vorkath for the head. You can definitely kill Vorkath with only void, salve ie and a rcb, so he's definitely a mid-game boss in that regard- but he becomes much more efficient once you have a full POH, full gear setup (dhcb or dhl), and are woox walking to speed up kills for ~6/7 kills per trip/full inventory. If you can do it with dropping food/full inventory consistently and have a full POH for 30s reruns, then that's late game imo. Definitely not endgame though.
I feel like im not even at mid game yet lol. Most of my stats are around 40 or a couple stats i haven't even started. I assume this is still early game?
Hey bro this may not be seen, but ive watched a few of your videos, and i think having time stamps along the fast forward line on youtube would really help sort everything out for the viewer. just a thought
Appreciate it, this and all of my videos for 2024 onwards have timestamps and the ability to skip between them, they're all in the description. Thanks for watching
For me mid game is 60-70 ish combat stats, defender, maybe a torso, and barrows gloves, can kill lower level bosses like barrows brothers "Late" game is 70-80, quest cape, working on bosses in the gwd etc, End game is raids, max gear etc The way RuneScape scales skill and money wise it's Defo hard to pinpoint a "mid" game, as arguably you'll spend more time in the later game than in the early game
eh...? Disagree, I look at it as a way of time spent like you suggested. 'End game' is doing high-invo/expert raids, maxed gear sets, going for maxes in skills, etc. Late game definitely has raiding, you're just raiding at a lower volume, slower clear speeds, etc. due to not having top-line equipment. Mid game is where you can do every PvM content, and clearing raids only to achieve the unlockables (entry-level, etc.) So basically: Main differentiation (PvM-wise) between Late/End game is tied to skill/tick-understanding/TOP-tier gear (Tbow/Shadow/etc) Main differentiation (PvM-wise) between Mid/Late game is more tied to GP and gear, but also elite diary unlocks. Main differentiation between Early/Mid game is the quests, diaries, and account unlockables. PvM skills are just so easy to get that I wouldn't tie 'progression' to combat skills. You can have 99 strength from afking for 1-2 weeks in NMZ, but you have 0 gear to show for it.
I have the fire cape, the Vorkath back ranged piece and 232 quest points. Also have some decent gear pieces but Bandos chest and tassets aren’t considered end game anymore lol 😂 so I guess I’m still mid game as well. I can’t save up 2billion gold for torva/tbow etc though so I’ll be here for ages
Best vid of this type ive seen, well done. As a 23 year rs vet who maxed several rs3 account, main/im/hcim, im just digging into gim on osrs and all the new stuff is DAUNTING. Having a blast learning it tho and this vid helps. Thanks man
Tentacle whip splashes soooo much, I switched to a zammy hasta originally just to use on dragon tasks and now it is my main weapon, does not splash nearly as much as tentacle whip (or regular whip)
I've got burned out of pvm and had been doing skilling rotations: 10-20 agailiy course laps, some herbiboar, some pirammid plunder and rotate between each one when I feel tired, I'd been slowly leveling up these skills that are useful and kind of hard to max
The one that I hate but really need to add to my rotations is farming. Just because... it doesn't actually cost much for all the teleporting, but it "feels" like it does. And after a few quests inot the 20-30 range, just really gotta bite the bullet and start working on it as it's a prereq for several quests and diaries.
@@Nikarus2370 I'd been on anti-farm mode lately its really annoying having to bank all the invetory and equipmen to go make a farm run mid-grind and then having to set-up everyrhing again
Skilling my favorite in game know what can make with which item and selling it gold once you get high levels of skilling you can make consistent bank with numerous number of methods profiting anywhere between 2-3mill an hr depending on variables price changes etc..
Honestly PFC, being a main account sometimes bothers me because I'm grinding for gp rather than a cool item or to get better at something. And I don't have the time/willpower to restart my 116 combat with QPC and 90s combat stats acc with an ironman or even a bronzeman. I'm currently trying to get good at CG just to get the enhanced seed and feel more organic with it
shazien 5 boots are better than snakeskin I believe, and not too hard to get at all (crabs were so nice when I had an easy job, I got 80+ melee stats just afking crabs at my work) (I have all versions of void, which I have never ever used)
DOING YOUR CLUE SCROLLS is a fantastic way to get yourself to building gear and more importantly quests over time, as well as additional motivation other than "because someone said it's helpful"
I mentor like 11 people on osrs and explicitly warn them that clue scrolls are *almost* always going to harm your progression. Blessings and dhide are only moderately useful for a limited amount of time, the other drops are exceptionally underwhelming.
@@coryp6868 The loot and experience (cool items, a little bit of gp with exciting chance at big money, and the adventure of it all) is the motivation, not the items as gear upgrades themselves. I'm saying the opposite, that you do the clues because they're fun, and in doing those, you'll get a lot of helpful account progression because of the clue step requirements (quests, etc.)
quest helper plug in is very inconsistent it leaves out so much stuff, it needs a serious update! i'll stick with slayermusiq in the backgorund for now.
Nobody ever explains where the money is coming from to afford things like the blowpipe and the darts and scales or the god dhide like where do you start in order to afford these items that’s where the help is needed
I have some early and mid game money making guides on the channel. Your best bet is checking out this: oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Money_making_guide It's real time, and you can pick things that your account is able to do, and that you think sound fun. Not sure your stats, but if you're in the pre-blowpipe stage, I reccomend looking at blast furnace since it trains smithing, making sacred oil is roughly 1m an hour with super low requirements. I also recommend Demonic Gorillas if you get a Black Demons slayer task. They are great profit and also teach you to combine offensive and defensive prayer switching. It helped me a lot when I tried CG for the first time.
ah there's my problem, right at the end of the video. I don't have the boyz
I’m maxed idk why I watch these lol
To brag to lower level players about how you’re maxed.
It's always good to touch up on info no matter if your new or maxed.
Might spark an idea on a new way to do something
what a great video. your good at tellin a story and speak well. im subbing to ya, i look forward to more content bud. *handshake* im buyin what your sellin!!!
Love your video. New subscriber here. Keep it up.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE GIVE ME THE SONG TITLE OF THE TRACK THAT STARTS AT 1:40!!!!
Racing Hearts - Mattie Maguire
Take it at your pace, enjoy the game, do whatever feels fun. Explore quest achieve diaries.. there’s no reaching endgame, is a never ending very fun journey
Im almost 1800 total and 112cmbt and I'm too overwhelmed by content such as raids and certain bosses.
I feel like I don't have the skill or focus that so many other plays have and it makes it hard for me to progress.
I recently did below cursed sand and unlocked TOA but after watching a yt video I immediately got upset because I felt like it was beyond my skill set
I did cox at 112 cmb 87str 85att 20 kc on mobile.

You could go into a 0 invocation entry toa with unlimited attempts and try to learn as you go, most of the enemies are sight readable and not too punishing then
0 Invocation ToA are really just a mechanic check, no BiS or high level stats needed! :)
Also, it is the most fun combat activity by far, especially as you can very slowly turn up the invocations.
I really suggest tryin it out, its easier than you might think! Watch a guide while doing room for room in a slow pace, and after the 1. run you will have half of the mechanics memorized already :)
BTW: I think like you about Bandos :D
People say they do like 20-50 KC or even more, and i struggle after like 3-4 KC already and im out of food/potions :P
for TOA literality just send it, go in solo with 0 invocation.
@11:36 he forgets Zilyana's name but he covers like a champ
Vorkath is mid game? I thought he was deep endgame
You can definitely kill Vorkath with only void, salve ie and a rcb, so he's definitely a mid-game boss in that regard-
but he becomes much more efficient once you have a full POH, full gear setup (dhcb or dhl), and are woox walking to speed up kills for ~6/7 kills per trip/full inventory.
If you can do it with dropping food/full inventory consistently and have a full POH for 30s reruns, then that's late game imo.
Definitely not endgame though.
awesome video broski
Another banger video dude keep up the work man
Did this video come out before quiver?
I feel like im not even at mid game yet lol. Most of my stats are around 40 or a couple stats i haven't even started. I assume this is still early game?
Apparently, the 'midgame' is anything less than BIS gear, according to some people I ask.
So glad I got out of midgame years ago. Not sure what I'd do today...
I wish we had more variety of high level but affordable armor with some stat differences
Can’t get stuck in the mid game if you just stay in the early game. Big 🧠 plan.
Would you agree with the old addage, "Buy one, Farm TWO". If it's worth buying, when you can, it's worth farming two of them and selling them.
For me mid game is 60-70 ish combat stats, defender, maybe a torso, and barrows gloves, can kill lower level bosses like barrows brothers
"Late" game is 70-80, quest cape, working on bosses in the gwd etc,
End game is raids, max gear etc
The way RuneScape scales skill and money wise it's Defo hard to pinpoint a "mid" game, as arguably you'll spend more time in the later game than in the early game
Mid game is where you can do every PvM content, and clearing raids only to achieve the unlockables (entry-level, etc.)
So basically:
Main differentiation (PvM-wise) between Late/End game is tied to skill/tick-understanding/TOP-tier gear (Tbow/Shadow/etc)
Main differentiation (PvM-wise) between Mid/Late game is more tied to GP and gear, but also elite diary unlocks.
I'm surprised there isn't any talk about leveling smithing, considering leveling your smithing reduces the cost of repairing your degradable gear.
I feel like this is more of a early to mid game guide, but still a great video anyways ❤
You exploding recently :) , Im watching everything, good job
Pause
Honestly PFC, being a main account sometimes bothers me because I'm grinding for gp rather than a cool item or to get better at something. And I don't have the time/willpower to restart my 116 combat with QPC and 90s combat stats acc with an ironman or even a bronzeman. I'm currently trying to get good at CG just to get the enhanced seed and feel more organic with it
You forgot to mention the rock climbing boots in the untradables section 😂
Greta video. Earned a sub
bandos 5m an hour.. meanwhile i´m here being 1.3k kills dry. only got bandos boots and a shard. nice mathmathics!
excellent video
shazien 5 boots are better than snakeskin I believe, and not too hard to get at all
(crabs were so nice when I had an easy job, I got 80+ melee stats just afking crabs at my work)
(I have all versions of void, which I have never ever used)
DOING YOUR CLUE SCROLLS is a fantastic way to get yourself to building gear and more importantly quests over time, as well as additional motivation other than "because someone said it's helpful"
I'm saying the opposite, that you do the clues because they're fun, and in doing those, you'll get a lot of helpful account progression because of the clue step requirements (quests, etc.)
others mentioned it too but you won't get a jad task without getting the fire cape first, so please do not wait for the task lol
The first fire cape I got was from a Jad task
just realized Ive achieved endgame after watching this vid. kinda nice
Good videos, now how do you do it in Ironman when you can’t just buy the gear?
Just get the drop
Weird to see Fire Cape as a suggestion given that you aren’t even in the midgame until you have one.
quest helper plug in is very inconsistent it leaves out so much stuff, it needs a serious update! i'll stick with slayermusiq in the backgorund for now.
To each their own, personally i love figuring out quests on my own and reading all of the dialogue, but I know i'm in the vast minority with that
Rapier better then fang?
It’s this simple. Find an item better than you have. Then hyper focus that item till you have it. Repeat.
Who’s getting 5 mil/hr doing bandos? Still waiting for a drop over 50k
Quest cape first thing... looks at Desert Treasure 2...
I’m not fuckijg doing shield of arrav
I have end game stats (+2k), with mid game gear.
My problem is playing bond to bond.
Nobody ever explains where the money is coming from to afford things like the blowpipe and the darts and scales or the god dhide like where do you start in order to afford these items that’s where the help is needed
I have some early and mid game money making guides on the channel. Your best bet is checking out this: oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Money_making_guide
It's real time, and you can pick things that your account is able to do, and that you think sound fun.
Not sure your stats, but if you're in the pre-blowpipe stage, I reccomend looking at blast furnace since it trains smithing, making sacred oil is roughly 1m an hour with super low requirements. Just generally training your account and selling stuff should make you a decent bit of coin
Love this video tyty
Hard diary is a good place for me to set a goal rn I think
I refuse to transition into end game because Ill end up -quitting- taking breaks often
