The fact that he went to these space stations and alien temples to retrieve this music is already amazing, love this music
Had to extract this straight from the Mars Archives.

@@Olivia-iv7xj Sorry, I was gonna follow up with the next quote in that sequence, but I drew a blank.
Guess I need to play Mass Effect again...
As an Alien, i confirm that this is what we listen all day long.

As a lost astronaut, I can confirm this is what we listen to on our abandoned stations.
"I looked on the Behemoth, unthinkable in scale. Our people have been starfarers for centuries, millennia. And we have never come close to building a structure so monolithic, so gargantuan as this. Its purpose, its designers, the means of its construction, all were lost to time. And if such titans as the architects of the Behemoth are vulnerable to the cruel and fickle whims of the universe and the passage of time, what hope do we insects have? To know of the Behemoth is to know the deepest of terrors. The Behemoth must remain secret so no others can know the madness I have known."
Right?
where is this from? i want to read it.
@@Mireeeec it's from me. I wrote it while listening to this the first time. I have stories in a couple places around the internet but nothing based on this specifically.
Sounds like my homie Issac. Cheers!
@@Djinne98 naaa. Thanks tho
I don't mean to sound ignorant here, but I don't get how people write music like this. (I love it btw) But where do you even start? How much of an idea do you have before you start piecing sounds together? Kinda blows my mind. And on top of it, it's so evocative and immersive yet I would bet money nobody imagines the same stuff listening to it. Anyway, great stuff as always! Thank you for being such a constant source of new music to listen to when so much of what popular today just doesn't do it for me. :)
the question, we will might be never will be answered
Sometimes I have a dedicated plan and know before hand exactly what I want to write. Other times it is just me playing around with sounds.
@@kanareikaTv I thought I had a stroke reading your comment! LoL

I think it many cases, it starts with a sound that evokes a mood. You starts playing with that sound, and trying to continue evoking the mood. If it continues, you continue; if not, you chase after it again.
Perfect for exploring Space Hulks with Space Marine Terminators.

I love how this genre of music has developed and evolve throughout the years, I grew up listening to this kind of instrumental ambiance music and I love to see new independent artists having their space in the scene. So glad to have found this channel!
Hi...what are some of the bands you grew up listening to from this genre? Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
same
yea i want some recomendations too !!
@@unstoppableforcewebz I have some for you: Brian Eno (Apollo), Aphex Twin (Selected Ambient Works Volume II), Loscil (Plume), Stars of the Lid (And Their Refinement of the Decline), Perlieu (Bloom)
Those vary a bit in style, though they all come from ambiance / drone. I've put them in chronological order by the album that left an impression on me.
Not the OP, but I also grew up listening to this kind of music.
@@CValbusa Thank you 😀
I'm using this hour to accompany the climax of a three year long D&D campaign, where mankind encounters a Mass Extinction event. This music is so POWERFUL. It means a lot to me. Thank you, Cryo!
Sounds awesome, very final fantasy 7 ish. I miss the old d&d / rifts / shadowrun days
How’d the campaign end?
I love abandoned space stations and alien temples 🙏🏻💙⚡️💙🙏🏻
The background art always fits so well puts you in a trance in a way. *Lets your mind wonder*
Works for me that way, too. I like it.
Yeah, like, "What the fuck?", right?
@@AnnaKhKem too many questions. Who were they? When did they build this? Why? Why did they leave? Was it by choice? What do we do with it now??? What can we do with it? Etc ad infinitum
@@dustywalkerjr.1196 Only phylosophers are subscribed to this channel.. :D :P
@@AnnaKhKem philosophy student, can confirm
Sometimes I have dreams like this. I am completely alone in some strange space. Then I don't feel fear but anxiety.
My most recent dreams( that I can remember) starting from most recent are , last night I was wearing a sign standing outside of Walmart with some one else doing the same thing.....
The one before that was a naughty dream with that short but thick lil gymnast with all the gold medals 🏅 s ......
And the 1 before that I woke up groaning after getting shot with a musket ball in a civil war ....
A side note I also caught myself sleep walking in upstairs the other night pacing the hallways with no pants ......., I came to during it , I think?( Im a light sleeper) unless I was doing it on purpose? ........which I doubt. It was almost predatory in demeanor lol! Kinda reminded me of a big cat pacing in its cage lol! ....I'm wondering? If I was dreaming about jumping on my moms housekeeper without pants ? .....in my sleep? Lol! Idk? ....🤔
Props to all the explorers traveling far and beyond just to record these songs
Oh yes. Made my day! Anything that has to do with isolation in space...I'm there...
I love the background artwork for all of these.
I've been looking for atmospheric soundtracks like this for years. Good ones, truly other-worldly are rare. Im happy that there are people who understand and produce sounds like this. It takes unusual state of mind to be able to imagine yourself in another world and bring sounds of that world back to ours.
Check out Steve Roach. Ambient music at its finest!
yeh im 100% with you on that man! This is the stuff we dream of finding and listening to!
Jonn Serrie starmoods is excellent... as is stars go with you by Serrie

Make it so Mr. Heath.
Get moderately high on weed, relax and fall asleep to this at night 🥰 The mood is all kinds of emotion, makes me feel lonely in this world despite feeling amazed in some beautiful simple way.
I swear those clouds are moving!
This is brilliant ambience for anything that would require a constant sense of the unknown, in both a malevolent and completely harmless way.
It suits the Lovecraftian vibe, to desperately want to know and yet be fearful of what one might find.
Reminds me of the isolating and crushing dread of Dead Space and Event Horizon.
u mean black holes?
@@flightshereforyou9203 no I mean the video game and movie.
It reminds me of the sound of my neighbor mowing his lawn when it is raining at the beginning. Then I get sucked in!
ooh, nice observation. This makes me uneasy on a visceral, subconcious level. It creeps me out like nothing else ever has, except the first American Horror Story, the one with the house.
Great movie, very underated, sam neill at the end is terrifying
*Listening to this at* 2AM *literally gives a whole new perspective.*
Dude this background art looks like a dope game
Gotta ride the music every night, day time sometimes. Oh the places it takes you. But never the same place, even if it repeats itself....... Love it!!!
thank you whoever wrote it.we are many people around the planet want to travel our thougths to extraterrestrial places
This label has truly captured the scenarios that I have imagined as a kid and given them a fitting soundtrack. Special thanks to the Artists for creating such a wonderful thing here. I love how this has become a thing in my lifetime, a private mental movie to experience.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Also, please get out of my head ;)
i listen to this on repeat. amazing.
Works really well even for D&D settings!
I forgot how great 2145 is, until I reached the end of this video. It's time for another listen to those albums, I think.
Fits perfectly with the manga "BLAME!"
This music invites me to explore an abandoned alien ruins of an old temple and, at the same time, makes me fear all the things I can find there.
I'm editing photos from an event I had a few weeks ago with my newborn daughter besides me. It was at 04:04, when the chorus, I suppose, from that girl started, and it was incredible, I was tenderly caressing her little chest, and it felt almost like the beginning of Man of Steel. Absolutely amazing, thanks for this.
This is feeling the sounds, beyond what lyrics can do. It is being amidst nature and/or the lack of people, of talking. Whatever feelings and images these sounds evoke, we are sitting with them and enjoying them, hopefully. For some people, this might feel dark, scary, unknown, cold; and for others this feels peaceful. It's difficult to describe to another person what one is feeling. To me it sounds like an eternal moment in time, or better yet, no time. I don't go from point A to point B when listening to this. There's nothing for me to do when I listen to this except be in it, that's why it feels like time isn't applied. There's also a strange familiarity like returning to a home I never knew I had, forgotten and buried underneath the years of growing up and becoming a person. If I were to die and return to this place, it wouldn't be new. It would make sense. Amazing works! Definitely a break from today's trending lyric-ridden music. Thank you for posting and dedicating a channel for this!
Damn this is powerful.
Making me imagine massive monolithic chambers.
Exploring these massive corridors built for these advanced monolithic aliens hundreds of feet tall.
The human astronaut explorers who stumbled upon this place. Being just a insect among their shadows.
The deep echos and distant booming foot steps down the deep halls.
-Scout team Delta to mother base, do you copy?
-Affirmative team Delta.
-We have reached the west gates, they seem to be made of a gey rough stone, they are several meters tall and are decorated with unknown runes and carvings. Should we advance further into the monolith?
-Negative, stay there until the other teams get there. Roer?
-Roger that.
Muah muah🧐 smart cookie you are.

"Songs from Abandoned Space Stations and Alien Temples"
Yes. That's what I want. Well done algorithm.
As always, the perfect sound track to write at 5am
This would make great title music for the new spawn movie
Painting up some Tyranids while I listen to this. Don't worry kids, those glowing lights in the distance are fireflies, not biolumenescent alien killing machines.
How many fireflies is that Carnifex though
I dont listen to this type of music, but more like fantasy tavern themed one. In fact I opened this in a different window and paused immediately and have not listened to a single note yet. This is perhaps by far the most intriguing title I have ever laid my eyes on - the eeriness and mystery-shrouded feel just by simply imagining such a place as an abandoned space station. Not even sure whether I will ever listen to this - just not be underwhelmed. But the name... astonishing. 6/5.
Best music for playing Nemesis board game
As always great art and unique/eerie soundtracks to get the imagination flowing
Love the music🎼👌🎶and art work🎨👏🎻👍💕💖💞

So this is what it would sound like if Deep Space Nine or Babylon 5 were abandoned and haunted. Great work.
Just stumbled across this for the first time, I feel like I'm so late to the party. Will be great to write to!
perfect for kicking back on the beach on a warm summer day...
Listening to this while reading Blame! is one hell of a combination.
"This is Captain James Cleveland of the star cruiser Astra, Neptune class. My ship crashed on this world on stardate 89323.90. No coms, rations gone, atmospheric generator depleted. This is my final recording.
If you've found me and you're hearing this, know that I died vibing out on track 5 "Blurred Oceans." It's sick, yo.
Captain Cleveland, signing off.
Thank you!
Eu ouvi esse álbum num instante, e nem parece que se passaram quase 1h. Sensacional, pude escrever pensamentos nunca vistos antes, fiquei muito inspirado! ♥️
Thanks for helping me get through another Saturday night in the Tenderloin. Your channel has helped my mental health more than anything my "Dr" has come up with. 🙏🏼
The Tenderloin. In all the years I lived in SF and Berkeley I had no desire to go there. My advice to you is to get out of there before it kills you. The Tenderloin only reinforces a lost person's sense of desperation and final surrender to obliteration through oblivion. You deserve something better.
This is something that sound be in the Alien films. This is superb 👏
the title of this video is so awesome
Tineidea - Patterns of the Sky
Breathtaking! Hair raising! Absolutely gorgeous!
That IS what it would sound like ! dripping water and thunder included .
Great ambience to read warhammer novels to!
Brilliance, yet again.
the thinking of abandoned space stations is creepy you might ask what happened there this music tells the story masterpiece
If this is the same Cryo Chamber, I grew up listening to it on the internet radio part of WinAmp.
We will get there. It’s already paid for, and won’t cost us a thing.
This is amazing playing in the back ground exploring the deep dark biome with shaders in Minecraft.
And once again a magnificent mix from Cryo. And once again thanks A LOT for this
Not only are your mixes amazing put the amount of detail you put into artwork is something else, keep up the great work man
Holy smokes ! This album is a true masterpiece..marvelous ! Thanks Skrika
I could fall asleep to this. I love it. It has elements of Blade Runner to it. It is very inspirational. Thank you.
Oh wow! 2 minutes and I'm completely charmed already ✨
This in my Headphones and reading a black novel, living my best life 🖤
Skrika this is a fantastic blend you have my mind racing with images and thoughts of ideas for stories. Thank you for sharing your talents with the rest of us!
wow, man. Unreal. What a massive sound. So glad i stumbled on this channel. Thank you.
This is so lovely! And the mix is seamless. Gratitude and Kudos to all
Well that's going _straight_ to my Ambience folder 👍🏻😎
Just an amazing work of art. Masterpice. Thank you for this my friend. Thank you.
This one of my favourites, any stress just fades away. As always top quality music ,that isn't the same song repeated.
Wow. Excellent soundtrack to a tour of a derelict spaceship.
Been listening to drone/dark/space ambient for quite a few years now, but have only discovered this channel today. Have to say that you have outstanding selection and quality. Thank you and I hope that you'll be active for a long time!
Excellent journey of sound!
Oh my gosh this looks freaking AMAZING!! Perfect to start the weekend! Skrika is one of my new favorites (along with Gdanian). CC has always been on fire, but they're going even harder this year! The art here is sweet!!
Amazing all around as always.
Reminds me of Myst. Thumbs up to both the musician and the illustrator for the sound and stage; I find it amazing when two such things combine in such a way that breathes life, motion and feelings to an otherwise still image. This surely made my day, along with some of the comments.
If I were to describe in one word the feelings and state of mind I would use - Beyond
Great mix, Halgrath is always a stand out for me.
Right under you there's a comment by someone named Chase P. You both have similar profile pictures, that circle, or Chakram or Elder Scrolls Online logo, i'm not sure what is it. But it's an interesting coincidence.
Cryo Chamber will be a standard in future Cryo Chambers oo
The first song with the voice... Damn i'm absolutely amazed !
I have been listened dark ambiant for months, a few years maybe ? And this is the first time that I heard a powerful sing like this one on it, I need more of that power with the depths of theses songs ! Thanks you so mutch for sharing that ! ❤
Imagine somewhere in the universe there is an advanced space ship abandoned millions of years ago floating in the abyss surrounded by a vast emptiness. It was once created for a greater good but now traverses into the unknown.
Incredible. Thank you.
Listening to this while reading the Daemonifuge comic, very immersive
So glad UA-cam recommended me this gem! Amazing work.
This mix is incredible, well done!

my favorite cryo chamber mix so far
I clicked on this video earlier to listen and moments after It stopped, I thought it was the auto pause but when I came back to check up on it, the video was already over..
Such an immersive experience !
I'll be listening to this type of music from now on ..

Omg this is great. Love it. Wow!
Amazing visual and soundscape as always.
Thank you! This is really good stuff!
This is a really great mix guys
I love these specific titles because it makes me feel in these places
This is incredible, I've always been a huge fan of the Metroid soundtrack but haven't really known where to look for similar style songs.
