I’ve been listening to 2147 and 2145 for the last couple weeks wondering when Sabled Sun was gonna drop. Checking the Cryo Chamber channel today and seeing Sabled Sun drop a new album put a smile on my face. I’m more than half way through and call tell this is already a banger. Thank you Cryo Chamber, Sabled Sun, thank you all the amazing artists that make this channel possible. The Cthulhu album was my intro into dark ambient and my appreciation for this genre has grown much more since then. I’ve enjoyed hip hop, breakcore, glitch, movie soundtracks, jazz, industrial and other genres. But as a horror fan, dark ambient has a special place in my heart that other simply genres can’t touch. Thank you Cryo chamber.
These waves remind me some good old works from Tangerine Dream (Zeit, Alpha Centauri...). Love how futuristic sounds can also make me feel nostalgic, just like cyberpunk thema as a whole. Thanks Sabled Sun ! Last mix (Mystic Mechstones) was great too :)
I remember the Signals series, time flies. This is excellent, and I particularly like Finding Paradise, it's like a cyberpunk version of an Inception track
I was werry excited when I saw it's a new album of "Sabled Sun" series; and it did not dissapoint me! This album with immersive audio themes an creative melodies is a superb example what ambient music should be !! You (Atrium Carceri and Mountain Realm) in a metaphorical way "painted" with sound a picture(s), a picture of a whole new world's, new AMBIENT ; also it is a treat for my ears and my mind, with this type of music i just imagine the stories, the worlds... This is a sub-genre, dark sci-fi ambient, or space sci-fi ambient, and after 10 or 15 min. of listening I immediately remembered all those sci-fi movies from the 80's that become golden classic's... So i just enjoyed the songs from this new "Sabled Sun" album and imagine new stories, but I couldn't escaped the magnificient worlds and ambient of space/ time from "Alien", " The Thing" (1984), "Bladerunner" and other gems from the 80's. Thanks Cryo for putting this album on utube and thanks to legends A. C. and M. R. for creating this !! EDIT: --English is not my native language, and sorry about any grammar mistakes. Cheers !
There was a game Earth 2150 about people tyzing to escape Earth slowly going into the Sun. I will think of this album as a music for this setting in my headcannon :)
The magos chanted the litany of waking, the prayer of initialization, and exposed their flesh to the bioauthentication recepticle. With a droning binharic cough, and a barely perceptible pinch as the data port injected into their flesh. With a subsonic rumble the millennia old device began to stir. Slowly at first, as an old crone rises at the dawn, the city sized shook and groaned itself to wakefulness. As the biopsey dendrite retracted from the magos, they stood for a moment. Transfixed on the majesty of the omnissiah and the motive force. A feeling? curiously reminiscent of a machine equivalent to exhaultation to the point of extacy flooded their circuits. After a moment they ended the brief, self-indulgent laxity of dicipline and proceeded to the control altar. The cathedral to the holy machine god reached a deafening creciendo and still was not yet come to full wakefullness. With each step the magos chanted prayers and consecration with sacred oil. They proceeded the half kilometer of roaring machinery, into the very heart of the inferno. Shadows began to lengthen, and the heat of the inferno crashed to below freezing as they set foot into the control altar. The roaring, blasting cacophony of the massive machine died instantly, replaced by a chittering and unintelligible whispering almost at the back of the mind. They looked back at the way they came and saw the heat shimmer of the machine just beyond the altar's boundaries. Turning back around, the whispers seemed to rise and fall to the rhythm of the magos' heartbeat, and the chittering susserated to the staccato rhythm of their footfalls. The machine spirit was awake at last. In low gothic, magos Abdul Alhazred muttered "Time to get to work."
Unfortunately, not even close to the Sabled Sun he used to be (2145, 46, 47 and Signals series). 2-3 minutes tracks are a crime in ambient music. I mean, it's not bad, I just think that Simon can do much-much better.
@cryochamberlabel Maybe. I personally prefer at least 5-8 minutes when it comes to ambient music, because short tracks don't have time to develop an atmosphere and tell a story. And I didn't mean looping. I didn't mean to insult. I only shared my opinion because I think 2145-46-47 are truly masterpieces. The other releases are less detailed and "dark" in my opinion. :) By the way, do you have plans for a new album in the "signals" series? The space ambient scene is almost dead. I would really like to hear something new, like before.
@@e_music_dark_ambient Yeah, I guess I always look at albums as a whole, I'd rather have to great short tracks back to back than two long ones that doesn't have as much going on. No plans for Signals really, I started working on one but lost interest halfway through the first chapter. Next will likely be some collaborations and then Atrium Carceri (and Mountain Realm on Cryo Crypt).
@cryochamberlabel Yeah, but still long-form drone is pretty good music too. I'm a big fan of space drone, the kind you can fly off to where your physical body can never go.
Just that thumbnail is enough to convince me to give it a go
“Never stop fighting”
Right 😂
A new Sabled Sun! Count me in!!! I've loved all the previous releases.

It's been a while since I've heard Sabled Sun. My heart is happy
Thanks Cryo! Perfect time to upload - it's a rainy morning and I'm starting work.
It is raining here as well, and I work listening to this, too
Have a productive day, friend

Peter the Elder
Am I hallucinating or did we just get a new Sabled Sun out of nowhere. I'm unreasonably hype for listening to ambient.
It's always good to come back here once in a while. Thank you new uploads. ❤
Estudiar programación enfocada en inteligencia artificial: meh
Lo mismo, pero con esta música e imagen de fondo: **MOTIVADÍSIMO**
This will be my OST to paint the BLKOUT minis to. So good!

The beginning suggests the movement of mafia men

I want the live thing to come back so i could just listen without scrolling up and down
You are in luck, it's up!
Ahhh sweet ❤thanks BRO you are the man 😎
The only other music that comes close to this is from Dark Black Core.

Hi friends,
A good experimental, with,sometimes, a little "Twin Peak's" inspiration, is'n't ?
At least I know Cryo is not Artificial bullshit music! Thank you for being legit! 🖤

FIRST!

Definitely stuff of legends
Catastrophe. It's not Sabled Sun, it's very bad mix of random sounds.
Well go listen to Sable Sun then lol
What the hell are you on about? This is Sabled Sun.
C'mon man, all dark ambient it's a mix of random sounds, so what.
Fantastic!
