[YTP] Makuta Joins The Flat Earth Society

After breaking his toe from stepping on Lego, Makuta Teridax has been cooped up in his lair for too long and has started to go crazy. Becoming a Flat Earth advocate, his attempts to convince others culminate in the most important battle of our time.
I had a lot of fun making this one. This production was a combination of a sentence mixing exercise and the fact that most of the Bionicle YTPs have very little Makuta in them. So in order to show some appreciation for one of my favourite villains, he is the focus in this story. Hope you enjoy.

I never expected to see such a relatable villain in a Bionicle movie.
It's a shame his argument fell flat in the end.

I’ve never watched anything relating to Bionicle, but now if I do, I’ll be thinking of this and unable to take this guy Makuta at all seriously.

I'm going to miss looking forward to more of these. That was masterful sentence mixing, and it gave me a lot of much-needed laughter.
I still find it hilarious that this guy finds it so important to have ice in his Coke, he would rather drink his own urine than have to drink Coke without ice.
I knew this was the greatest movie ever. Damn Makuta and his Flat earthers. The container booklets warned me all along but I didn't believe it.

This entire video is masterful. I was seriously grinning the entire way through. Makuta finally got the screen time he deserved.
Makuta's serious dedication to the flat earth belief is gold lol
Imagine if this was actually what Teridax was like canonically.
So... My brother and I had a pretty serious argument a few years ago and had never spoken since. I sent him this last night and he replied to explain why Makuta probably would actually be a flat-earther; he cited more Bionicle lore than I even knew there was.

Hey Alpaca Hawk, just wanna say something. Couple years back I was going through hard stuff, but at some point, I came across the Revenge Of The Sand trilogy and it made me and my friends laugh SO much. You inspired me to make a YTP myself and I always enjoy the stupid videos so yeah thank you.

His belief in the Flat Earth was so strong, no wonder a moon was thrown against his head.
For those of you who have seen this video, and want to rewatch it while understanding the beautiful monologue of Makuta as he experiences social isolation, allow me to give you my best attempt at a transcript.
Also, in case not said, spoilers.
Makuta: The Earth is flat, my brother. But no one will believe me. The round Earth prophesies of the Matoran oppose my beliefs. Must I sail the seven seas and find the ends of the Earth just to prove it? Ah! I stood on some LEGO and broke my toe! Now that my toe is broken I must wear a cast. So, because I cannot walk anywhere, I must stay inside and play Xbox all day! Destiny sucks but Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a great game. I want a lightsaber but my mother won't let me...hugh....again my mother opposes my will. I have no money to buy one myself. I should never of maxed out my credit card...for the seventh time. I consume my feces to fight my hunger and drink my pee like Bear Grylls. I want to drink some coke but there is no ice. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering!

It's pretty hilarious so far but maybe some subtitles to make it just a little easier to understand the voice mixing because some of it's just a little hard to understand especially with this guys low voice

And another thing there over sized and distracting
Take Two Bob Bit's subtitles for example
There at the bottom of the screen and mixes with the comedic timing perfectly
UA-cam's usually are placed in of the screen and are often just distracting at times and dosen't blend well with the video

I saw a lot of tragic back stories of antagonist/villains...
- Mr. Freeze
- Demona
- Darth Vader
- Sarah Kerrigan etc.
But Makuta here has the tragic story of all, i mean come on stepping on some Legos that broke your toe in the process and forced to stay indoors to recover and playing Xbox games such as Destiny and The Force Unleashed and and wanted some Coke-Cola but there was no Ice and now he had eat his feces and drink his urine just to fight his hunger and wished he didn't maxed out his credit card plus he wanted a lightsaber but his Mom didn't want to get him one and now becomes insane and thinks the Earth is flat, if this isn't a tragic Back Story then i don't know what is.
I am so happy you're doing YTP's of this movie. Always thought there was some great potential for some seriously funny stuff
