Today we make Braille Skateboarding History by doing a kickflip on the longest REAL Skateboard measuring in at nearly 6ft long! This skateboard is long, it's heavy, and it definitely is bendy! Should we keep evolving this idea and make this board even longer?! A huge shout out to Haley Isaak ( / haleyisaak ) for the inspiration to try this!

@@brailleskateboarding hey braille if you ever get the oppurtunity and the money to do this ,i think you should build a bowl that has never been see before like 35 ft -40ft vert walls and loads of big hums to air and some steep corners and a bunch of roll ins around the bowl and have a giant 50ft vert wall in the middle of the bowl with a staircase to uptop and rails around the stairs so people can air from the bowl onto the rails on the stairs ,and idk charge like 40 bucks for a days entry and maybe u will profit in 10 yeas but the only downside is if u build something this big ,som1 out there is gonna skate it and they could die but hopefully the are pro and knee slide instead, if i ever get the money this is what i would build in my backyard if it was possible
if u could contact the guys who built burnside or fdr u might get to build it at half the price , but it might be too big for those guys too build ,im not sure

WHo came up with this idea its AWESOME!
screw in thin stainless steel square tubing along the edge of each side and that would make it much stronger! kind of like board rails but closer to the edge and a bit longer. Then you could also board slide it as well..
You should try putting two more boards over the joints of the underside boards and then one over the joint of those two making the center of the board a 28 ply board
That board turned them all back into beginners, I don't think even JD could do more with it.
I don't mean to doubt the Daniels, but he'd end up going from vert ramp to horizontal first try.
At least if someone injured, they could just wheel them to A&E on the board, they probably would too.😅🥳

By the time you said you know people are going to say put the trucks in the middle, I had already had the thought of putting trucks in the middle but then you're creating a pivot point so it will be hard to pop and it's extra weight and also it might make turning harder bc it wouldn't lean as well.
i thought ripstik caster for that.
Y’all need to get some ball bearing casters for stuff like this. It’d be just enough to keep it from bottoming out.

it's weird... it's like you're seeing tricks done in slow motion, but in real time. i feel like this will help me learn how to ollie, just seeing all the steps broken down

I think you just needed to move the trucks a little closer to the center. It would flex less and give you more leverage on the nose and tail.

You guys should get your deck manufacturer to custom make a long deck for ya. This looks too heavy and bendy lol
I think you should've glued all the boards together as well as putting screws through them.
Smear em all in liquid nails, stick em together, then hit em with the screws.
Some skaters evolve on their own, Haley should have joined birdhouse.
We used to make long boards out of 3/4" Ash and rode them in parks, you want stiffness

Yeah there's a reason she used a solid sheet of plywood on the bottom.
It would work really well with the boards if they were all sanded and glued together.
I think if you fully glued the boards and then screwed them together, it would be a bit more sturdy. I might be wrong, I am no carpenter. But it just may be the key to less bend in the mid section. Without the trucks. Again, I could be wrong.
