oh, just love these local festivals with cryptid or other local stuff. They are pure, friendly, nice and extremely good to return one's attention to the love and basics of a community or a family, taking your mind away from the larger media stuff out there.

Thanks for “taking” us along on your trip to Wisconsin. Looks like a lot of fun. The Hodag reminds me of a dragon like creature. Speaking of cryptids, there’s the legend of Tahoe Tessie in Lake Tahoe, NV. A creature similar to the Loch Ness Monster.

I lived in Rhinelander and Sugar Camp. Graduated from Rhinelander High school in 1972. Rhinelander is a nice town. Worked for the Pied Piper, then moved to Texas to go to college where I continue to live. But I have many fond memories including the Hodag. Oneida County Courthouse is the most beautiful one I've seen. Love the Tiffany glass dome. Beautiful.
