I always love when you find a new (old) animatronic band. I remember a version of those guys in Hershey Park in the 80's performing in a gazebo but they were called the Dogpatch Dawgs. Plus I still hope to one day get to Chicago to go see the Biscuits at Logan's Arcade, a misfit dog animatronic band that started out their lives as the Beagles.

These place looks exactly like a dream I had about a year ago it was very detailed dream that rainbow tile ceiling rainbow railing upstairs how the tables are placed out and how the games are against that wall with the exact same games , also the carpet . There where Animatronics but can’t remember what they looked like.So when watching your video it kinda freaked me out. I have never been there or seen this place online. Your video is the first time seeing this place. I live in Texas and I only traveled far as Arkansas so there is no way I’ve been to this unique place before……..So weird……..

This is just so crazy because I was just in Frankenmuth and I grew up at that huncle Berry Junction. first video I’ve seen of yours somewhere where I’ve been just super excited and have been watching the channel for a while really appreciate the videos

Huckleberry Junction is a pretty fun little gem but man alive is it in the sticks. We're in Flint and don't even go out that way often. So glad you got out there though. There's some funky little gems in that area.

I’m amazed huckleberry is still opened after all these years growing up outside of flint mi . I use to go there a lot as a kid over the years it’s changed so much as a kid in the 80’s it was one of the biggest places to go that had a huge arcade . But now it’s more claw Machines ect miss them old school arcades

Minnesota's Largest Candy Store has an animatronic band. Yes, I'm a broken record but it has so many things that you love!
When Huckleberry Junction first opened up in the 80s it was a band called the animal kracker band witch was just bubba bear and the badlands band then after around 1995 dainel and the dixie diggers were installed

I was curious about the animatronic band and looked them up. The Sally Corporation has them featured on their website, and there certainly was a big white dog among the group in one of the pictures.
There's different sizes of the band. There's some that have something like 7 animatronics in it. Just depends what they order.
that's Sir Percival Perry, he is in the quintet set and plays clarinet.

Daniel and the Dixie diggers was use to be in Adventureland Iowa back in the 80s it was replaced by the carousel 🎠 in 2000s

Another great video in our former home state. We loved visiting Frankenmuth when we could so it was nice seeing some of that. And seeing you drink that faygo red pop made me (Steve) want one 😂. Safe travels.
In Clairmore Oklahoma there is Swan Dairy Cheese Kurds. Talk about fresh, they are made right at the dairy where you buy them.
If you are in Michigan you should stop by Ypsilanti and check out the Yankee Air Museum, the Firehouse museum, the water tower, etc.. There is a lot to see in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area
The white dog was Percy I believe. There was also Betty who baked cakes, Wally Wish who would pop out of an oven to wish kids a happy birthday, and finally an animatronic of Mark Twain who all resided in Lancaster, Massachusetts at Paddlewheel Pizza, who were all part of Roll On America, a family fun center. The band broke up and moved to Florida with the owners of the rink sometime in the late 90's or early 2000's and may have come out of retirement at some point. These were some of the songs they sang. Other videos of them have them singing different sets. They were fun to work with.

Klamath, California also is big on Paul Bunyan.... You might have even gone to see the Trees of Mystery in the redwoods....

I grew up in Columbus Ohio and I can't call fizzy drinks anything but pop! Pretty sure we used to drink that red faygo at my Aunt Jane's house for birthday parties 😁

This is the LAST known operating 3 character show with or with out jethro. There’s a 5 character version of this show located in Japan undergoing a restoration I believe.
A ton of them are popping up now Woooh alot being Restored also still alot of hank and beau left
@@coolbone6177 True, lots of stuff being done on Insta. As it stands, this is still the last publicly operating installation of the complete 3 character show in the world. No privately owned and operating complete three character shows are known to exist either currently.

My late grandfather, Dan Scharton, loved Bob's Big Boy. He loved celebrating his birthday there. He passed away in 1980, when I was pregnant with my daughter Karla. That's now over 42 years ago as he passed away in March.
If memory serves me, years ago the Michigan chain was Elias Brothers' Big Boy!

Small world. I was watching a bunch of your videos the other day and then today you actually post a video from my home town. I've had MANY birthdays at Huckleberry Junction. I'm happy it's still there, but I miss the massive ball pit they used to have. There was an enclosed stairway you had to climb and then you could slide down into the balls. It was so much fun as a kid.
Jacob, Have you been to Bronner's Christmas Store in Frankenmuth? It's a store, but the grounds have so many cool places to see such as a replica of the church where "Silent Night" was written along with giant Christmas sculptures. And you can't leave the town without sampling one of the famous, rival, family chicken dinners.
Cedar Valley Cheese factory near Random Lake, WI has fresh cheese curds every Friday. You need to get there early, though.
I grew up in Michigan and lived on Faygo Red Pop. I don't think it tastes like cough medicine. The chocolate cheese thing... it sounds like a weird combo, but it works in some cases. There's a Celebration Station maybe 5 miles from where I live. I've never been there, but I drive by it every day to/from work.

They used to have that exact same animatronic band at Adventureland in iowa when I was a kid. (In a gazebo in the area that looks like where the flagpole is at Disneyland… if you’ve been there you know what I mean. The entrance to adventureland in iowa very much resembles main st USA at disneyland.)

Daniel and the Dixie Diggers used to be at a pizza place in Bountiful, Utah called Pinocchio’s Pizza. It’s long closed down, however.

Yes, Jacob did do a wonderful video of the Ford museum several years ago. Besides showing a nice overview of the museum, the video featured terrific essays about the Weiner Mobile on display as well as the plastic Mold-A-Rama machines scattered throughout the museum. Jacob's daughter, Anna, was also featured in the video.

I'm a weird Detroiter, I don't really much like Faygo either except for the cream soda. Probably had too much as a kid and got burnt out on it. Love Frankenmuth but yeah, the Cheese Haus is a bit too expensive. If you go on a cheese quest, try Pinconning, MI I think they may be a bit less expensive and quite fresh. Good to see you finally got something from the claw machine! Ever check out the Henry Ford Museum or Greenfield Village in Dearborn? Pretty fun.
