Tally Hall aside, I genuinely do want to go here, it looks like a fun place.

I used to work for an airline. For fun I flew up to see this museum. Marvin was still alive then and I met the man. He was so happy that someone flew from so far away just to see him and his oddities that he gave me a guided tour and all he asked was that I sign his book. One of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. I didn't spend a quarter but I bought tshirts from him to remember the trip by. I still have that great Tshirt and the great memory of meeting him. Thank you Jacob for stopping in. I know Marvin would have treated you well if he were still around.
Oh shut it

The Green Cross Code is a road safety measure created in the UK to help remind people to cross the road safely. They even had a series of PSAs promoting it starring David Prowse, the actor who played Darth Vader, as Green Cross Man, teaching kids proper road crossing safety.
Remember it well.
i met him once in person and he told me it was the best thing he ever did such a shame he died tho
You know what what would be cool?
If a band named after a way of counting with lines would make a killer album about this and disappear forever.
I used to go here as a kid. Rip Marvin. He was a great man.
This place was a huge part of my childhood growing up in Michigan. I have such fond memories of this place.
I went back there a few years ago and walking into the door felt like walking back into time. Such a unique and wonderous place, truly one of a kind!
Cool story bro

Honestly, you’re a braver man than I am when it comes to things like this. Some of those machines creep me out!
Lol so I'm not the only one who gets slightly creeped out by those things. The place still looks fun though
Really ? I love things like this !!
Laughing Sailor was the worst.
I honestly love stuff like this, I wish we had one in the UK, I was always the kid who loved dolls / puppets / robots and everyone else is like “tHeYrE sO ScArY” 😂😂
@@darklordojeda everything else wasn't all too creepy to me, but laughing sailor was the creepiest
I absolutely love Marvin's. Go here a couple of times a year to play pinball and mess around with whatever they've got out. Happy to see you in Michigan!
Jacob you’re like 20 minutes from me! We were scared this place was going get shut down during the pandemic!
I grew up only 20 minutes from there in Oak Park.
This place is the whole reason I found your channel! Searching for automatons and watched your visit years ago now, stayed for your personality and adventure. Still great to see!
same thing here lol I love animatronics and old timey machines
This is legit my favorite place me and my friends are gonna be there tommorow on our way to the Dead Fetus concert
You've done it again, Jacob. Another place on the bucket list.
It's a blast!
This has to be one of the coolest thing I have seen in a long time. Like a Circus, Game room and Museum all in one. Some of that is creepy, but love it. Thanks for the tour. Cheers from Florida.
I went here a few years ago as it's only an hour away from me, and it's like the best place to go for fun for all ages.
I'm so glad this place survived the pandemic. It's my favorite place that you've been to.
Being British I recognised the Green Cross code immediately. We had it drilled into us as kids. Think, stop, look, listen etc etc. It's so out of context in an egg dispensing machine 😂😂
The Burt Reynolds bit really cracked me up 🤣 great video!
Wow…I had totally forgotten about the single rider Ferris Wheel…I used to ride those as a child when I went to the grocery store with my mom or dad…Thank You for restoring a memory for me…
Carpetbagger, have a great Memorial weekend. Thanks for all your efforts that take our minds off the troubles of the day.
I played that chicken game with a live chicken when I was younger!
Me too!
This is one of my absolute favorite places that you visit. I love automatons. Love your channel so much. I am along for the ride with you every day on that long lonesome road.
The green cross code, is a British thing, invented by the safety Committee to raise awareness for children crossing the roads in the UK.
Some of those egg machines brought back memories as a kid. The monkey one is supposed to shake up and down like its jumping. I remember the spinning chicken one. Also rode that ferris musical wheel when I was a kid at a Chuck E. Cheese, it had Chuck the mouse instead of that clown though.
Cool story bro
The chicken is Helen Henney, and the other chickens are the Warblets. I forgot the Pig's name, He used to have Chuckie and Pasqualli as well, but he sold those to a collector.
That vibrating hand is supposed to rest on your shoulder or back, it's a rather elaborate back massager.
I'd probably spend the whole day there and try everything, lol
Tally hall, someone?! I really did just know about that true tally hall, and now its just real.. 🖤😌
These were some fascinating old animatronics.
So much fun AGAIN!!!!. Childhood memories a plenty!!
I was Marvin’s first employee. Next time you are going to go there let me know and I’ll give you my little tour.
This gives me epic Rob Zombie horror vibes for some reason, and I f*+king love it!!
I had no idea Tally Hall was talking about an actual Museum
Tally Hall was the name of the food court before it was torn down and made into a strip mall. Marvin was in back of Tally Hall. There were other stores to the side of Tally Hall. Those are also gone and replaced with more national type stores. Its a cool place.
15:01 THE CATALINA WINE MIXER!!!
I recognize that song!!
Henrietta is wrong, but close. it is actually Helen Henny. And the three bird looking things are the Warblettes. The pig lady is "Madame Oink".
I totally forgot about the Chuck E Cheese applauding hands!! I haven’t seen those since I was like 6, so 30 years ago 🤯
3:43 - that would be Helen Henny and beside her is the colored Warbalettes. Also at 4:01 we have Madame Oink and beside her is the original Warbalettes,
along time ago when Marvin, the owner was alive. He also had Chuck E Cheese and Pasqually but he sold them if I remember right
I've been going there since I was 6 and I still enjoy this place.

"Ask the Brain" was the best. Thanks for sharing!
Lol the laughing sailor had the bee from Bee movie in it
That's pretty nice they still got the pizza time theater characters here but I did wish they would perform
Love following your journey through michigan i haven’t been here yet but really need to
Hi Jacob, I used to live down the street from here! Now, I'm in FL
Great video Jacob, love these kinds of attractions.
That mini Ferris wheel used to be at Major Magic’s pizza (just like chicly cheese before there was a chicly cheese!! In Toledo Ohio. My sister and I would go for our birthdays when we were little!!! That was my favorite little ride!!!!
I used to go to the3se place when i was younger. This place was near my grandparents house. Unfortunately they passed away last year.. at least my grandmother, my grandfather passed away few years before that. This place brings back so much memories.
That was really fun. Thanks, Jacob ❣️
That place was great, some o f those reminded me of the old penny Arcade they use to have on Main Street USA in WDW. I always loved going in there when I was a kid, it was a great place to go when there was thunderstorm. I miss that and the magic shop too. Loved this video keep up the sensational work!!
Amazing that those PTT bots are still there! Back when I was in the community there was quite a lot of discussions on those bots and trying to get the owner of Marvin's to sell them, This was back in the 2010's. It's amazing they're still there and look virtually the same.
What an amazing place. Would spend all my coin on the pinball machines . Some of those machines you tried out are very old and it is wonderful to see they still work . Loved this. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
Uncle Oscar sounds like he was voiced by Mel Brooks
His announcer was Paul Frees
JACOB!!!! I WAS WORKING NEXT DOOR AT WHOLE FOODS WHEN YOU VISITED!!😢😢😢😢😢IM SO SAD I DIDNT GET TO MEET YOU!! PLZ VISIT ME NEXT TIME!🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
THIS IS THE AESTHETIC.
Its janky, bright, colorful, and rusty.
I definitely need to visit this place in my life.
This looks like such a fun place! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. You are awesome and sending you all the positive vibes :)
I've seen you go to many horror themed attractions, but that Laughing Sailor was, by far the scariest thing I've seen on this channel.
That was fun to watch! Don’t forget to recycle the plastic eggs 😉
So happy you stopped here! sweet video!
Thank you Mr. Carpetbagger!! It's always a joy to hang with you. Enjoy your holiday!
I love your channel!
So much cool stuff to see in there!
Amazing eccentric collection!!
Love the singing alien
I’d be stopping to see everything you stop at!!
Thank you for what you do
Best place to go to in the area! Thank you for completing my memories by running the machines I regrettably overlooked!
It’s amazing to see you visit a place I’ve actually been! Wish I could’ve seen you there! I hope you enjoyed such a chaotic but amazing place!
Edit: the three black crow looking birds were first and I’m pretty sure the lady birds were a revamp or replacement for them! One of my favorite animatronics from Chuck E. Cheese that I never actually got to see perform. They are called The Warblettes! I don’t know if the girl ones had a different name
We were just there on Monday! Gave a quarter to the poor, hungry anteater as well.
Some of those machines are pretty creepy and weird. If I were nearby, I'd go just to play that Rush pinball!
That's the name of my favourite album
AYY SAME
Marvin's is awesome, didn't know about the place until seeing it on your channel once before.

I can’t go here because
I’ve been living in a cardboard box. Spending every dollar at the liquor shop
The airplanes mechanism looks like a device from an old slaughter house. Super awesome video! 👍👍

And I thought people nowadays were wacky! What a weird place! I hope they can stay in business!
The 'Green Cross Code' is to teach kids how to cross the road in the UK.
Dude, you went to a place from my childhood!! I hope you had a blast there!! It's an awesome slice of memories including taking bike trips there all the time!!
feels good to see jacob enjoying the arcade ❤
Just watched your visit from several years ago.... you've come a long way. You're commentary is priceless

I love your channel. So many places you take us-really appreciate it and enjoy it
Loved this video, thanks for making great content that I look forward to everyday!
One could visit this place a hundred times and see something new each time
Ooooooh! I've been waiting for you to go back here!!!!!
Another great video. Enjoy seeing places like that.
On "The Great Chophandoff" it is the illusion that chops the hand off but not your real hand, it is the blade that touches the metal top that does not actually chop your read hand.
Used to go here all the time. Bout to go this weekend
Please! They are considering tearing this down to build a Meijer, please contact the Farmington Hills City Council in Michigan!
Someone should make an album and name it after this place. I'm sure it would be a great album
Yea like a band of 5 people so you can get all the right sounds
Glad you made it to Michigan!
The Laughing Sailor is nightmare fuel. Horrifying.
Some of those odder games are reminiscent of Tim Hunkin's "Secret Lives of Machines" arcade art.
Heck, wouldn't want their electric bill. Thanks Jacob 👍🏻
hey! mr. tarheal!.... good to see you sir!!!
Stop, Look and Listen, Those was the days of the 80’s Green cross code,,
pls sign a petition! they wanna replace it w a grocery store!!
This place is pretty awesome I love all the little complex machines. Might have to travel to see this one someday!
