Henziiiie!!! It was my first commander Deck and is still my most loved one. Nothing is more pleasuring then playing a big etb creature with haste, that also draws a card. 🥰

Dominoes is my favorite fast food pizza chain, little Ceasar cheesy bread is my favorite cheese bread (though i do really like dom’s stuffed spinach and feta cheese bread, mazzios for calzone, cicis for their cinnamon rolls for dessert.

Rare occasion that I come across an advert, generally speaking, that I not only found interest in, but I actually followed your link and purchased one. I’ve been carrying mine in Stanley small parts box, but I’m exceeding how many decks and extras I can fit. The only thing I haven’t figured out is where my pistol will go ;).

I assume since roper is newer to magic, he didnt know that sould bond triggers every time a creature ETBs so there was literally no downside to pairing with henzie (for the sake of board wipe insurance basically). He would be allowed to soulbond to whatever creatures he blitzes in as they enter, but only as theyre entering. Once something is in play he would have to blink it or the soulbond creature to be given the choice again
It was nice to hear that you actually appreciate us nagging rules at you guys (assuming we stay professional and constructive about it) and that it isn’t super annoying.

This is not correct. Although soulbond technically triggers every time a creature enters under your control, the pairing can only happen if both are unpaired. Therefore, if he paired with Henzie, this WOULD prevent future pairings, unless Henzie left the battlefield. Quote from the rules for soulbond: “Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, if you control both that creature and this one and both are unpaired, you may pair that creature with this creature for as long as both remain creatures on the battlefield under your control.”

Loved this game! I cracked an Omnath and wanted some inspiration to build a deck around it - ‘cause I’m a noob and never played Omnath before 😅 But oh man, what a confusing, expensive decklist! Gotta find a more budgety one 😂😂 In any case: keep it up guys!

I love the Liesa deck. I have a Orzhov Taxes I built with her as well. That being said, Sky did not play her correctly on her first cast. The 2 life clause only effects the additive tax of her deaths. She will always be 5 CMC, but instead of paying 7,9,11 etc in additive mana, you MUST pay those in life instead. Its not optional either. So even if youd rather pay the 7 mana in full, you will have to pay 2 life, then the 5 CMC to cast her etc.
I hope this makes sense and helps in future episodes as well. Still loved the episode. :)

roper's urza constructs were smaller due to heartless summoning so he shouldn't have drawn so many cards. doubt it would have mattered though.

If the demon has trample and he blocks and sacs a creature before damage that means all the trample would hit the player and then it gets dbl at the end step right? Then lynch would of won ❤️

I thought the Spider was soulbonded to that elf earlier but then it got soul bonded again to the dragon?
Since the elf died its no longer soul bonded so it can soul bond again when another creature enters the battlefield

thanks to lynch i found away to kill people by turn 4 or 5 if go first. also legal deck with out attacking them. also only abilities from cards on table will do the damage since each land you play take 2 damage but since copy artifact it 2 times with hallowing mine and black creature where each card you draw lose 2 life. on turn 2 then turn 3 cast archfiend of despair. you so at least taking 8 damage from hallowing mine and if you play a land you will lose 6 life since 3 ankh of mishra on table also this creature Sheoldred, the Apocalypse will cause players to lose 2 life for each draw. since hallowing mine on table you lose 4 6 from 3 ankh of mishra with archfiend of despair you double it. so total 20 life on turn 3

I want to enjoy the game too but if we be printing our own cards/deck then everyone is going to just print the best deck possible and its going to look like a 4 way mirror match. Theres only so many "cedh" required cards and they all tend to be the same

But themselves get one plus the number of clues the opponents got, so they basically get one themself.

shouldn't the Henzie player draw two more cards from greater good because the first construct was a 6/6 not 5/5 when it was sacrifice and the other construct was 5/5 when sacrificed too greater good.

I know this comment is 5 months old but he had already reduced the wolves from their 2/2 statline. He said he was attacking with 27 1/1 wolves since he had accounted for the stat reduction from reckless summoning

Man, sky is insufferable...
With Heartless Summoning on the Battlefield Roper would not have been able to draw as many cards when the creatures were dying and Sky would have not taken as much damage from the attacks due to the -1/-1 effect of the enchantment. Fun episode though, Thanks
