This was one of the sweetest episodes! Such a pleasure hanging out with Kyle & Sam! Go check out their channels if you haven't!
The Asian carp. Inspired the Japanese video game of jumping fish like the ones you see in sonic. The only fish you can use a net to catch them in the air.
The way Sam plays Magic is inspiring
If Chris Hemsworth and Brian Kibler ran at each other really fast, they’d become Kyle Hill.
This is SO GOOD!
Fuuuuuuuuuu~sion!
I need a video where Kyle just scours UA-cam and reads Brian Kibler comments about him 😂
@@OvenfreshDeth YES PLEASE
No one needs sleeves anymore and we can all riffle shuffle. All of our cards will be reprinted six times in the next year and all the cards are worthless. Wizards secretly putting the accessories companies out of business.
The riffle shuffle of unsleeved cards... the intimidation and unease that creates in the modern player is immeasurable.
I'm a month behind watching this, but that sound will be following me for the next month, easy.
I can't help but laugh at Kyle playing a Talisman of _Indulgence_ on the playmat that has his own name written on it 😄
The getting the band together was more friend vibes than I could handle 😂
This episode truly captures the heartwarming commander experience of just casually hanging out with some friends better than any other episode of a gameplay show I've seen, I love it!
I like the idea of telling a story every time you tutor. But Kyle has to narrate it every time.
Sam’s shuffling was such a flex lol
💪😎
Reminded me of the Barbarians painting themselves blue to frighten their opponents before battle. If he’s that crazy who knows what he’s capable of haha 😆
The pure tilt factor of it all
Reminds me of the good ol'days on the playground playing on gravel, concrete, whatever, we had no understanding of sleeves for our cards. LOL I still play my pauper decks without sleeves, nostalgia X 1000 :P
@@mr.mammuthusafricanavus8299 I think it was Ben from LRR who suggested having Sandpaper playmats for their kitchen table streams ($20 deck challenge, Beejlander, etc)
How has no one called Kyle pauper Kibbler?
Or Kibler degree-less Me
I like that one!
Funny @kyle looks like @kibler a bit but @kibler isn't dollar store Chris Hemsworth
Draft Kibler?
Algorithm engaged!
Because they're both majestic and - more importantly - *rare* beings.
Stories during tutoring just seems like good manners as long as it’s efficient and entertaining
Commander hijinks with story time AND a musical intermission? This is the best epispde EVAR!
Episode was fun as always, making me want to play way much EDH. But I have to say my favorite part of the episode was hearing Kyle's genuine love for science & the story of him being amazed by the density of mercury.
And thus together we witnessed Brian Kibler the Shredding Bard in action, coming to your LGS this Summer
And now we know why Eilidh is mad as a hatter. We can thank her science teacher.
I saw Rhystic Studies precious little face in the thumbnail, and IMMEDIATELY clicked. Loved the energy from this video guys! Fun game!
And at 25:43, all Heaven breaks loose and it becomes the best episode EVAR!
This has been an incredible episode. The music interlude just made it amazing.
I was apprehensive about picking up another Commander channel, but the vibes for this one were immaculate. Especially loved the sequences where everyone just started playing instruments
Happy to have you! Enjoy your time with the channel 😊
So happy Sam kept the deck unsleeved after the end of the Gonti video ❤️
this was probably my favorite episode of any mtg gameplay ever, you can tell they are all friends just hanging out playing a card game more than just personalities for the camera. there was as much story telling, jokes and messing around with ransom instruments as there was actual gameplay and it gave the video a cozy feel
This was a phenomenally chaotic and enjoyable episode. From that damned riffle shuffle to the mid- game jam sesh, it is a true gem.
Wow...didn't think I was gonna see Brian Kibler on EDHijinks this week, after the treat of seeing him on Commander At Home, lol.
Oh, and first? 😅
14:10 I actually kind of enjoy that flavor, having to tell a story while “tutoring”. I guess that’s new rule, so says cmdr rules committee member Olivia, that’s how that works, right? 🤷🏾♂️
I love seeing gameplay with rhystic studies Sam
Heavy hitters today! Thanks E&O for consistently (and selfishly lol) hosting some of the biggest MTG personalities in the game 👍
NGL the banter outside the game was top tier. It was such hangout vibes. Gameplay was great too!
This was top tier hijinks. As a fan of Kylie Hill I loved his little blurbs about the stories he presented. Science for all! And laughter for all!
Kyle Hill, Science Bro and Critter. My dude, I'd like to buy you a beer lol
Excellent episode as always gang! Thanks ALWAYS for your content!
That was an amazing game!!! Loved the impromptu guitar session as well as the story times!! Kyle is soooo amazing with his fountain of knowledge, also his Breya deck was AMAZING!!! very unique play style as well!! All the deck were brilliant!! Sam had a great Ruric Thar deck, loved that Thundermaw Hell was BRILLIANT!!! I would love to see you two play with Spice8Rack and Ladee Danger and like see who can come up with the best Monach themed deck! I recon it be flipping hilarious!
Incredible content as always. Loved the chill story and music vibes. Must get Kyle and Sam back together!
This is one of my favorite episodes of any commander show.
Between the irl poison counters and the jam session this episode was amazing.
8:34 Kyle putting the die on 2 over the power and toughness area of the card instead of in the quantity area of the card.
Amazing guests + hosts = Truly amazing episode.
It's just science 👏👌
This game was great. The story times and the banter. So good. Keep up the great work and great guests. Catch y’all on the flippity and I clicked the things that make the dings.
Story time and rockin' out with great guests? I am so freaking here for this!
Honestly one if my favorite gameplay episodes out of all the different ones simply because of the music being shared and just the pure joy and love in playing the game. Hell yeah.
I love that Sam had to turn his hat around in response to Kyle considering betraying him
Turning notifications on for when y'all start your magic themed dnd one shot (I would genuinely watch this)
So nice of everyone to provide background music for the game.
A wild Kyle Hill aka model Brian Kibler finally makes an alpearance!
Loved the jam session that happened in the middle of the episode.
This was definitely a shenanigans episode not just with gameplay lol
I love everything about this episode. I do anyway, but this was to another level. Kylebbler jokes, shade throwing, innuendos. And to top it all off, music and story time was amazing
This might be the best episode yet
Oh hey look it’s Brian Kibbler. Funny how I’ve never seen him and Kyle hill in the same place.
*inserted ‘Obvious plug to go and watch Commander at Home’ right about ->here
This whole episode was a vibe I wasn't expecting.. this is why yall are my favorite.. keep it up
Panama sounds like Jump progression lol. Love the guitar jams in this episode!
Love the mid game jam sesh and tor time. Reminds me of games at home!
Watching Kyle, I felt his pain as he watched and listened to the sleeveless shuffling. lol
So glad yall got Sam on the show! He's such a gem
Good dynamic, good improv vibes, good stuff all the way down
For anyone that may not know but sams song was "dance the night away," from van halen
Great episode! Thanks for shouting out Quest for the Janklord. They are an amazing channel.
yall just keep delivering heater after heater!
A janklord shoutout!?! I love those guys!
Edit: hadn't made it to the music portion when I posted this. Looks like you guys are in need of a drummer. I could provide such a service!😅
It's so nice to see Alias V and Olivia get a their enrichment time 😂
Harmonically tuning the bass mid commander game is such a flex
best episode of this yet. love all the music and sam and kyle are great guests
This was such a perfect episode! What an absolute joy!
I hope we see more Kyle Hill in the future, he's great! 👍
Everyone knows people who riffle shuffle their unsleeved decks are the textbook definition of a Giga Chad. 😂
Came for a commander game, stayed for the unexpected jam session.
this was amazing! great game!!
Kyle bringing up possibility storm is so great. I love using it for the added chaos.
i like the idea of telling a story when someone tutors for a card, that was aweome hell we got a game, astory and music allin one hell ya rock on
This was a fun episode to watch. Everyone was so chill and just hanging out; plus, some magic was played.
That was great! Loved the musical interlude!
Love the random guitar jam in the middle.
I genuinely love the onscreen pricing for the commander, I know that's dumb but it's neat to see what fits in the budget
5:55 that Australian accent caught me off guard hahaha!
I wonder if Kyle has seen that old video from 1993 where they play all the moxes and black lotuses and such in a match and every card there is unsleeved. if you love MTG and you want to torture yourself, that is the video to watch.
27:00 Thundermaw! Thundermaw Hellkite! jaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! while the guitar blasts in the background. hahaha
Came for commander stayed for impromptu guitar concert
This was a fun episode :) I wouldn't call it out except for the engagement, but Kyle missed a whole lot of lifegain-triggers from the fair
What a great game, I loved it. I’d love a second take of this one
awesome episode! Must have @kylehill and Sam on again. such a fun pod to watch!
This episode needs more likes and views my add was going crazy this episode but I definitely had fun watching this 😅
Thank you for watching!
You guys have some of the most fun games I've gotten to watch. I love it lol
Best episode I've seen. Ever.
Great episode! Such a chill vibe from everyone.
This might be the best episode among a long list of strong ones.
Great shoutout to the quest for the janklord, that’s a group that would be fun to have on.
came for the edh ... stayed for the jam session 🎸 great ep
I love everyone in this episode, oh my goodness. This was so much fun to watch!
Love the deck, Sam. My unsleeved Deck also always unnerves my play group, but it gives so many old and damaged cards a home :-)
As an australian, Kyle's atrocious aussie accent brought a smile to my face.
One of the magic song things I know is you can sing "Flayer of the hate bound" to "Everybody dance now"
This was a great episode loved it!
This is the first time the Algorithm has shown me this channel, and I gotta say:
Elder Dragon Hijinks has got to be the best MtG channel name ever!! (next to Tolarian Community College ofc)
What a super chill episode. Y'all are cool as heck.
This game was so much fun and the vibes were IMMACULATE🎸
Just to be that guy, the song Sam was trying to remember the name to that he was playing was "Dance the Night Away"
I have an Old School deck that I fiddle with now and then (it's a Thrulls Reanimator deck) that only has inner sleeves, they shuffle surprisingly well, and it's nice having such a small deck, and it lets me look at the card backs again, which is a trip.
As a drummer and musician, I absolutely love the impromptu jam session🤘❤️🤘
It's so nice that you brought Brian on the show. Olivia.. you and Kyle should get him on Commander at Home
And so Elder Dragon Hijinks became Elder Bard Dragon HiTunes :D That was really cool when they took their instruments and just jammed quickly!!
Olivia plays bass too? Hell yeah!
Anyone else come up on Mr. Wizard like me ? That was a man of science ! lol
Been a while since I've seen Sam on a gameplay video. Love it!
In today's Elder Dragon Hijinks - Hijinks got Hijacked by sick guitar riffs. Never knew that Brian Kibler can play a guitar. What a talented man
damn that next turn for Olivia would have hurt so freaking much
20:28 "Carpe chocolate." T-shirt? Button? Sticker? Carp with Swiss chocolate popping out of its mouth like a cornucopia?
22:02 "Put your stamen in my flussy!" Save that one for underwear, condom wrappers, or a plant token made for popular card game designed for ages 13 and up.
