Thanks for the tips. Caught a 30lb Tarpon on a dock light with the gummy. Have since switched to a small shad swimbait i found in the freshwater section of bass pro.. had a 60lber hit that, but he got off. That bite came within 10 mins, but they wouldn't hit again the whole night.
they don't hold up as well but if you go into the freshwater section they have a bigger selection of small lures. and usually you can find them cheaper as well
Joey Joe No problem man. I've been there many times. A tip for you. Make 3 casts then pause for a minute or so. Too much casting with the lure splash down can spook the fish.

Event "saltwater grade" hooks struggle against larger snook.

My go to clear Beatles cut in half on 1/16 jig. Done deal all year round.
