What? You're telling me that Japan isn't a flawless utopia where everyone is happy and polite? I'm literally shaking and crying rn 😭

Best way to describe Japanese people:
"They're all polite but not friendly"

I remember when Takt Op. Destiny was coming out and people knew exactly which episode was better in the visuals department.
I'm surprised hearing about Dr.Movie for the first time.
Also, the SpyxFamily production must have been heckish, even with equal amounts of labor. Still loved the filler episode.

For some reasons he didn't mention it but Dr Movie = Savior of madhouse since 1991.
There ISN'T a single madhouse show from that time till now that hasn't got at least half of it (or even entirely outsourced like claymore, akagi, kaiji s1 ecc... Ecc...) made by the Doc.
Even the most recent police in pod has been entirely outsourced to them( + other minor Korean studios)

UA-cam randomly recommended this, and i was shocked to see how little views and subs you have. Thanks for the insight in the darker side of the industry. This was explained extremely well.

DR movie is coming, coming, coming for YOUUUUU
I looked up after the video actually if they were involved in AoT, they were not. Maybe too busy at the time, it was wayy too short-scheduled after all. It is funny seeing credits pictures and DR movie is always on them. When I was in cinema for Belle I stayed during credits just to catch DR movie if they worked on it and they were there lol

I would love to see more videos where you talk about Kevin’s blogs because when I try reading them it’s very long and boring and I find your videos very entertaining.
Fun fact: Dr Movie was in the co production of the creation story in genesis 1 along side God

I'll talk about kViN's blogs from which I learn new stuff or those that would be fun to watch in video format. Otherwise I want to focus on my original content.

Enjoyed that video and thanks for the clearcut explanation. Have you any thoughts on WIT and Cloverwork’s JOEN venture (pun not intended) and with ANIPLEX and Shueisha in tow - does that mean they’ll mop up work from a substantive number of IPs out there?

Considering that there's not even staff assigned for it' pre-production, it's worse off than even the Yuuri on ice movie. The only thing going for it is that it's the only connection Ufotable has with type-moon currently as the fate series "ended", and that's a partnership you'd definitely want to keep.

The site is still up, it seems like the domain was originally bought for a decade but it was renewed once again last year, just 5 days before Mahoyo domain was created. Also, according to some Japanese sites, the anime was said to be under planning at ufotable's 15th anniversary event in October 2015, the same was said about Touken Ranbu movie last year.

after the douga check phases, who is gonna do the job afterward? for example, we have 2nd KA to do the cleanup process for KA after being checked by ADs. But how about douga?

    • @-MankoMan

"in-betweening check". Usually outsourced, same as douga.

    • @trunghoangminh997
