@@tbrowniscool dont hold me to it , but im pretty sure i heard that before. And the more experienced wingsuit pilots can glide at a 3:1 ratio, even more astounding!!
Being new to the world of all this, what you're all doing is not just jumping off cliffs with the outcome of "falling" downwards, but it's more like a controlled maneuvering as you "descend" and advance forwards over trees and around and through ravines... it's actual flying! Awesome! All the very best.
flying involves using a system that can propel you upward with a power source. Wingsuit gliding has no external source of power that can take you higher, and you never travel higher than the source you jumped from.
Drei, zwo, eins, and off he was. The precision and closeness to the trees and rock ridges was mind blowing. I was inadvertently hauling upwards in my chair hoping to give him a boost away from the tree tops. Amazing also the walking landing, ending this flight as if it were a walk in the park. Stay safe!
If I’m not mistaken , they have tunnels . Kinda like sky divers have that circle thing where they can “free dive “ but it’s just a big ass fan in the ground doing like 200 mph winds lol
Firstly you need to be an experienced “normal” sky diver. Then you need to go practice with the suit in “normal” sky diving not next to a cliff face. Then once you’re comfortable with the suit you can start to use it near a mountain.
Am surprised they fly so far with the weight of their massive steel balls! Seriously, this looks amazing, but am guessing you need great courage, nerves of iron, a firm trust and belief in your wingsuit, an understanding of the location and belief in yourself! Humans are amazing at times. Pushing the boundaries, is what has given us our modern world we all take for granted. Great Video thanks.
Heroes save people or do great things for their country or Humanity, it's not about risking its life for fun and videos on the social media. This is just entertaining.
@@ChingaGafa there are no other heroes left anymore. Heroic times are in the past mostly. But parachute jumpers have the spirit and daring of a hero so they are heroes. They themselves even use the word “hero” for a good parachute jumper. Same can be said about parkour but that’s pretty much it what is left of heroism.
I was actually interested in windsuiting (is that even a word?). Two reasons made it a sold no. 1. It's the most dangerous sport in the world. Funny enough, not because of the equipment. To get the adrenaline rush, you have to fly near stuff to get the feeling of how fast you're going (near tress, cliff's edges, etc.). That's where you die. 2. At least in America, no one will sell you one unless you've jumped out of a plane hundreds of times. Basically, the wingsuit sport is for people who are bored from free falling from a plane. I simply can't afford the training it would require to do it.
Thanks for explaining why they always seem to be perilously close to things, surely soaring further away from death is also thrilling. I admire these people but think they should spend a month in a monastery or take ahuahuasca or something. It feels like a very fun version of Russian roulette.
WELL.... ya always hope that the wing works in that first 50ft. or so 'cause if it does not......... KABLAMO into the rocks and weeds,.. not good........ other than that I'd LOVE to take the ride but THANK YOU for the ride along. 👍👍👍
Mortifying 😂. It’s like skydiving with serious attitude, but beautiful. I’ve always gone with: “Why jump out of a perfectly good aircraft” (I’m just shy of 15,000 hours hanging out of jet helicopters.) stay safe !!
Thanks for the ride and thanks for not playing any video destroying music. Just the sound of the wind gushing by!!!
Ditto on natural sound/no music.
How the terrifying power of a tornado from Florida was caught on camera in 2024
he does crazy things but it's so good

I completely agree with the absence of artificial music.
The horizontal travel as you glide is truly astounding!
I think they have it down now to where they can glide 2 miles for every 1 mile they descend, pretty cool!
@@detectiveandy6323 That's better than most planes, incredible.

My favorite part is in fact the moment before you jump! The anxiety and excitement while getting ready to jump is really something
Yes. I feel anxiety before the jump and it settles down after the glider gets closer to pulling the rip cord for the parachute.
I liked the video very much, thanks you for sharing, stay safe, stay blessed
Wonder who was the first wing suiter to attempt this route? Balls of steel right there..
How do people even begin? Out of a plane? Or straight to cliffs?

Gliding, not flying

Beautiful line man! The season and the look of the trees made this one visually interesting.

To hike a few hours to the top just to glide for a few minutes is a truly a masterpiece
It’s not 1800 anymore bro
Getting anxious just watching you guys lmao
Beautiful launch and flight. Very precise landing. Quite the drop before forward flight, breathtaking perspective from the second flyer.
How do you even practice this?
I assume from their past lives💀

The launch of the 1st guy and the accompanying audio was freaking epic! 😮👍🔥
Must be such an incredible experience!
Thanks so much for a virtual wing suit ride.
Excellent video. I don’t know how people could do that but it’s as close a bird as humans will be. Wonderful
Incredible. What a rush. Thank for posting this!
Great the first guy had yellow wing suite, it was so good to his flight path way down there. The record of your own flight was thrilling.
Like a free bird, wow ! GOD bless you ( : Peace and, respect from FAISALABAD, PAKISTAN. ❤

Thank you for the video guys, you made me desire something new
I'm impressed by their belief in the wingsuit & science. But also the belief in themselves,to be capable of surviving.
That must feel so utterly amazing.... i totally missed the boat on all this.... would love to have done this though.

People say there are no heroes in these days anymore but there is. Wing suit people, parachute jumpers and parkour doers are true modern day heroes.
How so?

Sports and adventure.. good job
That looks like a very dangerous exit point!
This isn't flying, this is falling with style
Basically Wright Flyer cosplay
One of the best lines ever
Route even has its own runway..perfect spot,
Beautiful ❤
What are those plants we see right after you once you level out from the dive. They look like they have dust bunnies as leaves.
This felt scary as hell, especially the first bit.
What is the maximum reachable speed in the sport?
I need to see how much the initial drop is before wing suit starts generating lift.
Must be terrific!
What will you do to land? Slowly?
How did they manage to glide, with the weight of balls not sinking them like an anchor?
Why doesn't he try to land by gliding alone?

Amazing 😍
That is scary. How do you control the wingsuit? Will it work perfectly without making any errors when you are in flight?
How tall is the mountain you jumped off of , or the elevation where you jumped ?
can i land with like a backflip or something?
Un déplacement horizontale? juste en ressources et très court 😮
Glad you wear a helm in case of crash... safety first
Офигенная вещь костюмчик белки литяги,я так летала в детстве с взрослым в таком костюмчике на детей не было....
Falling with Style, lots of it
Do you just jump in a car and go back up for another jump? Or is it one jump a day kinda thing?
plse someone explain to me he is close to land

You crazy bastard lol. What's the initial decent angle like as you are gathering your velocity just after jumping.
